Had some medium sized crack, or wear tears on Jeep Patriot seat. Used ther product and followed easy to readand follow isntructions. Very happy with the result. Will see how long the kit lasts and if the rip will return. But it looks great so far!
used to fix some scuffs on a leather sofa and it worked well. I used translucent epoxy to fix the tear because the glue didn't feel strong enough. Matching color is tricky. Used the back of a cushion to test color.
I got this kit to repair a small hole in the drivers seat in my car. The color matching was probably the hardest part of the whole process. The color I was going for was “off-black” and it was surprisingly more difficult to get the right shade than I anticipated. It’s not a perfect fix because of the plastic looking texture and dfferent feel, but the spot is less noticeable from a distance now. Hopefully it holds up on a car seat.
It's an amazing product.Worked like a charm. I used it on our car front seat and it was easy and sturdy.
I only used the glue and backer materials as I was able to get a clean repair and did want to risk the look with a non-matching color. The kit was easy to use with some common sense. I used some painters tape to hold the leather eaxtly as I wanted it while the glue cured. Worked well on my leather couch; certainly happy I did not have to replace the couch.
