Bosch has outdone themselves with this sander. I'm normally a Makita fan, but I decided to take the plunge on this sander after reading the reviews on it. I'm glad I did! Up until now, I've always considered dust collection on sanders to be a complete waste of time unless you have the shop vac hooked up to the sander. I'm going to say that Bosch has now completely changed my mind regarding this idea! That might be because as a Makita guy, I'm use to great performance on a sander with the MOST GOD AWFUL dust collection bags know to man! Anyone who has used a Makita sander will tell you they do a damn fine job, but the collection bag might as well be decoration because it sure as heck isn't collecting the dust!

As for this Bosch sander...

Well... I will be the first to admit that I rolled my eyes at the whole micro-filtration dust collection before giving this sander its initial spin. I figured it was a waste of time, but what the heck I'd see how it worked. Suffice it to say, I quickly became a believer! What I passed off as a cheesy sales gimmick by Bosch left me absolutely speechless! I used this bad boy to refinish a bar top and I'll be damned if the dust collection was absolutely out-of-this-world! Bosch has got an amazing thing going with that micro-filter! It REALLY did the job! Not only did it drastically cut down on the dust, but the sander did an AMAZING job at refinishing the top! I'm going to say it easily matched my Makita in terms of sanding performance, ran smoother, and did it at about 2/3rd's the price of a similar Makita.

This sander is absolute win in my book!

Pretty darn good really. It's kinda strange, I do like it and I'd like it more if things were to change, but I also can't really complain.

This is my first ROS, so I wasn't to sure that mine was even working properly when I first got it. It was working fine, but I was let down with how little power it had to spin. I associated spinning with removing material, something a sheet sander lacks both qualities, so I wasn't sure how this was going to be much better.

Somehow it manages to removes more material than my sheet sander even when it's not spinning. So I guess it just has a bigger range of vibratory motion. I do wish it had some kind of override that would make it spin with force, it would make remove material much easier. But it generally does remove material fast enough for me. Again, can't really complain.

The dust collection works surprisingly well, but it needs to be cleaned out far too often for my liking. It stops becoming useful after a little more than 2 or 3 minutes of sanding, super annoying to stop and remove the filter. The filter is also kinda a pain to clean, it's not the quickest. Because it's filled with ultra fine dust, I generally clean it outside, taking even more time.

All in all, I really like it. I thought the variable speed would be good, but I end up using max speed all the time. I thought the slower speed would be helpful for fine sanding, but it tends to just remove sanding control, and bounce around. Not a big deal, but I haven't found a use for the slower speeds

I bought this sander to replace a porter cable unit of the same size that failed. I inherited the porter cable, so I had never used any other unit until now.
This bosch unit blows my old unit out of the water. There is so much less vibration on this little sander than my old sander, and the dust collection is far superior. Even with the dust collector attached on my old unit I had to use a mask and keep the garage open for ventilation. I recently did a built in desk in a spare bedroom and needed to sand the unit in place. I used this unit and there was hardly any dust in the air at all. When I was finished, I took the unit to the trash can and emptied the canister, that simple.
At this price point and quality, I wouldn't bother looking at any other model.

Have to share my experience with this sander I purchased. Have to give respect for Amazon for getting this shipped the same day and allowing me to get started on sanding my deck. Now my deck is for a town house, it is rather small, I believe 8x11 ft. I used paint stripper, and wood brightened and pressure washed it. For a really old deck it looks better than the first day we bought the house and looks brought back to life. However the pressure washer loosened up the wood and there are little splinters everywhere. I thought about paying someone to sand it, they said it would cost about $150. I decided that I would rather just buy the sander and pocket the $50.

I researched a lot of other brands and decided that this one was best for the price. I wanted to get this deck sanded for less than $100 and that is exactly what happened. The old splintering deck now feels better than ever. The sander has a comfortable grip and gets the dust and is easy to change worn sandpaper. It uses 5 inch 8 hole Velcro sand paper. I used 60 grit and got the job done.

For first day impressions I am very impressed. Please do yourself a favor, trust that this sander will do the job and make this your choice.

This ROS is a terrific little machine. I got it primarily for sanding, but I've also used it for buffing out compound on gel coat and for buffing out paste wax. It's a workhorse. The velcro that's on the sanding disc is super grippy, and I've had no problems with sanding discs slipping or coming off. The cord is nice and long, and the adapter that's included for the Shop Vac hose is actually the right size. The bag it comes in is sturdy and good for storing not only the ROS but also sanding discs and buffing pads. All in all, I've been extremely satisfied.

After way too much research, I’ve found this to be the best one for me in this price range. Variable speed makes it stand out in this price range. Uses standard 5” hook and loop pads, has built in filtered dust collection, and it comes with an easy non-proprietary 1 1/4” vacuum adapter (which takes it from low dust to no dust).

Vibration is average for a sander in this class. Unless you compromise and get one with proprietary sanding pads (like the Rockwell) or move up to a 6” unit with handles, you won’t do any better.

Nice thick and heavy electrical cord with strain relief should stand the test of time.

Included bag is nice and can hold the unit and a few packs of sanding pads and can be easily repurposed. Beats the useless bulky hard cases other competitors include.

All in all, just about the best sander I found in this segment. I’d say it’s a tie with the Ridgid, but you can’t

I wonder if I have the same sander as the previous grouchy bunch got. It works. It’s nice. Wish I had bought it earlier.

After nursing a pre-Viet Nam War Rockwell buzz bomb quarter sheet sander for fifty years until there was nothing more I could do for it other than giving it a Viking funeral, I needed a sander. Got a Ryobi. It went (after failing a high impact ballistic wall test) into the trash after perhaps an hour of operating time on the thing. Then I got this one. Less power than the Rockwell but none of those pretty little swirly marks either. I was frustrated because the Bosch was so resistant to spot sanding, but it eventually taught me to just let it work. Far quieter than either of the others (words straight from my wife’s mouth) and nicer on the nerves in the hand as well.

It fits in the supplied bag with plenty enough room for a full stack of a hundred sanding disks. It really surprised me with how well it handled dust, but I had it hooked to a disposable cheapo shop sander that fully took over from the sander the job of belching dust. I don’t know how well that little cartridge filter works and can’t see any reason for such a ridiculous and pointless filter to exist. It went straight into the trash along with the packing materials.

I have several commercial/industrial Bosch power tools. Good, dependable tools. I never expected a decent homeowner-grade tool from them, but that’s what I got.

There's an orange product similar to this one. Suffice to say it got returned and I got this one.
The comparison is night to day. This thing is very quiet and stays stable even at low speeds - the other tool bounced like Tigger and made a mess. The dust collection actually works - unlike the other which left a floating cloud of drywall dust.
This one starts at a reasonable speed on the lowest setting where the other one did nothing at all until you got almost halfway on the speed dial.
My only nit is that if you apply pressure it tends to bog down at lower speeds. Note the manual says you shouldn't apply pressure to the tool.
All in all very happy with this as a replacement.

The function--a generous gradient of speed settings via the selector wheel has thus far ensured that the projects I've worked on the past couple of months come out as intended. Obviously having the appropriate sandpaper grits helps a lot, but combining them with effective rotary speeds made easy work of a butcher block desk recently completed, from the initial rough sanding, to the final polyurethane polish. Only real issue--which is relatively minor--is that at low speed, putting much down pressure beyond the weight of the device results in noticeable slowdown of the sanding disc, which is adequate for final sanding and polishing, but can make said tasks take longer. The dust collector worked well enough without a vacuum that outdoor use without a mask was possible.
The form--Very comfortable and easy to control, , and overall construction is very solid. The handle is grippy without being tacky, so one can get into a good work flow without worrying about nicking a surface because the sander tilted away from flush while changing hands.
Durability--Have only used for a total of five or so hours, but at least no problems or visible wear and tear have resulted from them.
Accessories--The version purchased came with a canvas bag, which looks and feels very rugged and is flanked by pockets on the outside for...well, pocketing things. The opening is bolstered by what feels like heavy metal wires/bars, so it doesn't sag or fold in the middle. I wish it were a little larger to accommodate sanding sheets and discs, but it comfortably holds the tool itself, and has space for a few wrenches, screwdrivers, pencils, etc.
Overall--Highly recommeded

I've used the Porter Cable random orbitals forever. This is much more powerful, but I would not use it on veneer. It grabs and jumps around a lot, I can't hold it steady unless I use a very light touch. Great for rapid removal, but scary for fine work. Maybe it will break in after a while. Except for this one behavior, it seems like a quality build. Also, the little dust collection box seems to really work.

Anyone experience the grabbing and jumping around? Any thoughts about whether that will go away?

Worked wonderfully when we went to Denmark. I especially like the fact that it is able to adapt to any plug style and any plug can go into it. The USB ports were also a great addition, letting my wife and I keep our phones and Kindles charged for the duration of the trip. I would recommend this for international travel, 100%. The USB cable that comes with it has an iphone style tip and a mini usb plug for kindles. It didn't work too well with my phone, as it's a newer unit and I kept getting a warning that the device might not be compatible with the phone and would lose some charging time. I would use stock apple cords or a similar product that you know works with the phone. Other than that, a great addition to our travel kit.

My 13-year old universal adapter was too big, heavy, and bulky and was a nuisance. I bought this EPICKA brand as a necessary upgrade. I primarily chose it not only because of the small size factor, but it also contains 2 available USB ports which is what many devices use now more than 13 yrs ago. I was worried that the adapter may not work when both the AC plug and the USB port is being used at the same time. For those who are having difficulty adjusting the levers on the side, it's probably because you forgot to push the button on the opposite end. When you push that square button down, you can then slide the plugs on/off depending on the geographical location. I have attached a photo so you can see what to push down. So easy to use!

I am an international traveler, always on business trips. Have been using similar products for years, and this EPICKA Universal Travel Power Adapter is the best so far! Great design. I plan to have a trip in summer to Iceland, so I really need few power adapters. Before this order, I bought a different brand model, and it uses a totally different split design (works like LEGO). This EPICKA adapter has a much better all in one design which I like most. I can easily select the region then push out the plugs. Beside those plugs, it marked country/region clearly so I don't have to bring user manual with it. Size and weight are both perfect. I also tested it in my home with normal US plugs, works very well.

SO far its gone to London and Berlin and Stockholm and Copenhagen. Each time I clicked open a plug and was ready to charge my computer, iPhone and iPad. The size is great, the quality seems like it will hold up and I definitely recommend it.

The only thing I had a problem with? Figuring out how to fit it back in the little case it came in. It only fits in one way, so pay attention when you take it out...or be a little frustrated when you can't seem to get it in and zipper the case closed!

My husband travels a lot. His old travel adapter got broken. I searched online and found this one, which works in different countries including Europe and Asia.  The instructions for this is pretty clear and easy to understand. Download the app, register, sync.. and ready for use. As shown in the short clip, with a single click you can control on & off from that outlet. It’s great and convenient if im too lazy to walk to that room to turn on the light. It is also perfect for those who is out-and-about and want the light of their house on to convince someone is home. Yes, this product works even when you are out of the wifi limit. I’m not sure if this is correct but I believe it is saved onto smart life server app which allows you to remotely control as long as you have access to the internet. One downside (minus 1 star) is that it does not work with anything digital, only analog. For instance, I was hoping it would work with my digital heater so that the room will be warm by the time i enter, but it only turns the outlet on, it still requires me to physically press to turn the heater on to adjust the temperature setting. This works great with anything that has on-off switch only.

I have several of these now and I just love them. I have them all throughout the house. I do have them all linked through the app and linked to amazon echo Alexa. The only issue I have is that you cannot fit two units on the same outlet. Other than that I have had no problems with these.

At first I was unsure what to expect out of these “smart plugs”. When looking for home automation items, it’s rare to find something with good quality that also won’t “break the bank”.

Luckily, I was pleasingly surprised and have already begun to enjoy the ANBES - Smart Plugs.

With Amazon Alexa and IFTT (IF That Than This) integrations, I now am able to tell Alexa to turn lights on/off and have lights automatically come on when I return home or when my alarm is activated by plugging them into these outlets.

The build quality of these smart plugs seems sturdy and well made. The on/off switch on the side of the plug makes a quick and easy alternative to turn a device on/off should your internet connection go down. The blue back-lit button is also easy to see - even in the dark.

Prior to purchasing this item, I read a few “poor” reviews regarding initial setup issues. I had absolutely no problems and was able to get all 4 of these plugs connected to my home WiFi and recognized by the SmartLife app in under 5 mins.

Simply download the app, create an account, login, plug-in the smart plug, type your WiFi password into the app and in about 30 seconds the app connects the plug and you’re done. The process was exactly the same for each plug.

I left this product at 4 out of 5 stars for only one reason. When the plug is activated, on or off, a small click of the internal switch can be heard.

Having knowledge with electrical components, this is perfectly normal for some types of switches when a circuit is opened and closed. A little better sound dampening material inside the plug may have solved this issue however.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend these plugs to friends and family.

SmartLife WiFI plug experience 03/25/2018

I received a set of four of these today via Amazon Prime. Package came fast from Amazon but was tossed into the driveway. Not a good performance be the delivery dude or dudette Package was unharmed.

Packaged contained (as advertised) four smart plugs. Each is about 1.5" in diameter and has a grounded three-prong plug and a single momentary-contact on/off switch on the side. The switch is a manual on/off and is also used for programming/linking. They seem extremely well-made. These (like most such devices) operate in the 2.4Ghz band. If you have a router that doesn't support 2.4Ghz you're out of luck -- but that's rare.

In the four-pack there was a single instruction "pamphlet" with very small type. The writer was clearly not a native English-speaker. I hereby offer to rewrite for the English-speaking audience!

There is even a QR code on each box and in the pamphlet to link you to the proper place in the App Store for the free SmartLife app.

I downloaded the SmartLife app from the Apple app store and it installed easily. I opened the Alexa app and installed the SmartLife skill. This is something you have to do when you install any Echo-compatible smart home WiFi devices. No problem.

After creating an account in the SmartLife app, the default instructions (which they call the "easy mode") to install didn't work for me; I tried several times. Fortunately, the instructions had an alternative method (which they call the AP mode) and it worked fine. This is probably because of different router rules.

I named the device and Alexa scanned for it and found it readily. It became part of my "Lights" group and works just fine. So far I recommend this product. Price, workmanship, delivery, usability all very good.

I love how quick and easy it was to program these outlets. I am also surprised that they are rated for outdoor use and even into the negative temps. I had to download the Smart Life app and create my household and that took more time than setting up the plug. There are lots of other products on amazon that use this app, so I was happy about that. No sense in having different "smart" items connected to different apps. You literally plug it in, hold the button until it flashes rapidly and then you add it on your app. All I needed was my wifi name and password. Setting the timer was super easy to do. I now have my Christmas tree lights on a schedule so that they are on when we get up and when we come home from work. I tested one plug out with my coffee maker and it worked like a charm. What a great product. I would (and might!) buy these again.

So far these are proving to be a good buy. I'm new to the whole 'Alexa this and Alexa that' but I'm getting there. Setting these up was not as straight forward as expected but once I did the first one, the next came much easier. Another app, another device, another way of handling it. Unfortunate that manufacturers can't come up with a standard that uses a single app. I've tied two together and now will attempt to have multiple devices activated with a single command. I'd recommend these if you're wanting to turn on different devices. Just keep in mind that the device needs to come on when the plug comes on, if it requires you to press a button to start and that button goes off when it's unplugged then this item will not help you. Think of a lamp, if the lamp is on and you plug it in, the light comes on. Other devices will reset and when you turn them on, unplug them, replug them they will not be on. They require you to press the on button again. Those will not work with these plugs.

I'm not one for gadgets or much of a tech person- so I wasn't sure how much use smart plugs would be used in our household. That being said these plugs are just so darn convenient! You'll think of ways to use them that may seem lazy but the convenience factor is huge. While getting ready for work upstairs-I can give a shout out for the coffee maker to turn on. By the time I'm ready to come downstairs, coffee's ready with no more waiting around. Same with our stereo. My husband is an audiophile that loves old school equipment which means it needs to warm up before I can play music- with the smart plugs I can just tell Dot to turn on the pre-amp while I'm busy elsewhere. No more standing in front of stereo equipment waiting. Love that! Cabinet top lights with hard to reach plugs are no longer an issue, same with floor lamps. Can't wait to use this on the Christmas tree lights next year (imagine just telling Dot to turn off when you leave the house and turn on when you come back?) I shopped around before purchasing and these were the best value of any smart plugs. Well made, well packaged, and look high end. I bought a 4-pack but will probably end up buying 1 or 2 more sets (they're that handy).

These smart plug switches are great!

The products are exactly as described as well as very quick and easy to setup, even for those that may not be as tech savvy. When you receive them, you will have instructions to download a free app called Smart Life to control the items you have plugged into the switch remotely, the app setup is also straightforward and easy to use.

I like that having these gives me the piece of mind that when I am not home to check if something that shouldn’t be left on is off as well as if I left it on, the app shows you it’s on and you can turn it off. They are also great as a burglar deterrent because you can turn the lights or tv on and off at random times to look like someone is home. No more arguing about whose turn it is to turn the light off because you can do it from your phone in bed.

The only minor detail I would change is the plug itself is just a little bit too large so it may not fit on smaller power strips. Otherwise, I would recommend this product, well worth the price.

Just got them today! Absolutely love them! Literally took 5 minutes from scanning the QR code to having it work with Echo Show. App works smoothly and not found any bugs thus far. Just BE AWARE during initial setup you may have issues if not plugged directly into the wall. I don't consider this a fault of the Smart Plug but the filtering in the outlet interfering with setup. Interfacing with my Echo Show device was quick and painless and works beautifully. I using them to reboot outside camera, turn on my bedside lamp, my space heater, and entertainment center.

Read the instructions. The tightening screw for depth adjustment can be pulled out to rotate the handle
and pushed in to tighten and loosen the shoe adjustment screw. If it isn't all the way in when you
try to use it you could strip it I suppose.

Real nice saw, smooth operation, low noise level then most all the brands/models, the base just flows and easily adjustable, people say it flexes...? I really dont know what they mean, tho the blade is thin that comes with the saw, if your now rushing the saw lines stay strait and clean, if your shovi g the saw threw material, then get a thick freud blade

Absolutely the best saw you can buy for the money. My dad and I have done construction for years and he swears this is the saw he has been needing. He has always wanted a saw that left a straight cut at the end and not some little shard of wood like makita saws do.

I've owned most brands of circular saws made and worn most of them out.. This state of the art machine is a real improvement over my 20 pound 50 year old Craftsman which weighs twice as much and since Kmart bought Sears I can no longer get parts so shes retired

Works very well and so far, no issues, however i've only used it once so far. I mostly use Bosch power tools and they've all worked great!

I beat this saw with a masonry blade and it just kept plugging along. I have many feet of dusty, hard cutting on it, lots of power and decent controls.

tldr; a great bulb to provide color lighting without adding yet another hub.

Over the last few months I have been looking for a way to bring smart home color lighting into my household. I have a SmartThings Hub, and I wanted to add any lighting that I brought into the house to that hub. I have a strong tech background, so I did a lot of research into solutions that required little work, and some that were hacking together different smart home products and services.

Philips Hue bulbs were expensive, and required a proprietary hubs for the best quality. Sylvania bulbs appeared to have a 50-50 shot of being good, or total garbage. I was about to give up and buy into the Philips bulbs, until I saw that Sengled finally released color bulbs. I had already bought several light bulbs from Sengled, and found that they were all of good quality. I usually don't buy things with many reviews, but I decided to give this one a chance.

I purchased one bulb to test. I purchased another bold because the first one looked great. I imagine that I will be buying many more in the coming months.

The color quality is good, the brightness is excellent, and the setup was quick and painless. I have single bulb fixtures in my hallway that I wanted to be able to turn them daylight white during the day, a soft white at night, and gradually bring them to a dim red in the late night. These have fit that role perfectly, and bring just as strong of light to the hallway as the old standard bulbs did.

My only complaint about these is that their integration with Alexa through SmartThings is not exactly perfect when it comes to choosing some colors (e.g., "Alexa, hallway lights to red" gives me pink). Don't let that scare you away, though-- the colors adjust correctly through SmartThings, displaying a great range of colors, and I have been able to program them into scenes perfectly.

If it were not for the price, I would quickly order several of these and replace many of the white and soft light smart bulbs that I have in the house with these. For now, I'm happy to occasionally bring a new one into the house--which reminds me to go ahead and buy another one now.

Another great product from Sengled. Keep up the good work, guys.

 So I recently added to my Echo universe with an Echo Plus, and decided to take the plunge and spend $20 on a light bulb, ha. Anyway, it's pretty amazing that you get so many colors, and ease-of-use, with these 2 gadgets. It took less than 30 seconds for it to all be synced up. I've already ordered a 2nd one for the other end-table. Watch the video for a quick demostration, and good luck!

Excellent Zigbee full color bulb. Works with Smartthings & ActionTiles perfectly. Zigbee range is excellent, I've got one of these a very long distance from my hub without any Zigbee repeaters between it - and it connects and operates perfectly. I wasn't sure it would, but I'm pleasantly surprised.

Colors are good,bright and vivid. At full brightness the colors are less vivid, but as bright was is reduced the color really comes out. When needed for general white lighting, these are very bright.

Our entrance lights are these, so if our alarm system goes off (smoke, CO, Burglar) they turn red letting us know not to enter the house - even if we didn't see the notifications on our phones (my daughter doesn't always check her phone). We also have one in the light post next to our driveway and on the large bay window facing the road. The alarm system can turn those on and flash them either Blue or Red so that Police, Ambulance or Fire Dept can easily identify the house if they're ever called.

Scenes: These are a lot of fun. You can make scenes to enhance your home theater, dim with a redish tint to add ambiance for an action film. An eerie blue glow for a creepy movie. Whatever you like.

I have one in the furnace room that lets me know the humidity. When I turn the light on, the first 15 seconds will be Green (for humidity below 55%) or Blue (if humidity is more than 55%). It then goes to a white light. A separate humidity sensor provides the humidity reading to Smartthings, and Smartthings tells the bulb what to do.

Lots of stuff you can do, the bulbs work great and I'm very happy with them. If they were lower cost, I'd have them all over my house.

Competition:
I had a Yeelight color bulb too. It worked well also, but got so extremely hot while it was on I was concerned about a fire hazard. I got rid of that. Perhaps that one was bad, I only had the one.
I tried another Zigbee color bulb too but it seemed like it had a split personality. It would remember what color it was set to when turned on and off, but would change it's brightness. How annoying. It was awful, and it returned it to Amazon. I forget the brand of that bulb, so no names.

So, the Sengled Color - these are awesome, get them. My only gripe is the cost, and that's why the 4 stars. They're still more affordable than Philips Hue though.

These are super cool bulbs! Paired perfectly & natively with SmartThings. My kids love being able to set the color. I have one for our movie/play room for a non-distracting but usable light while watching movies, and also so they can put it into party mode (used some custom webCORE code). The other is great for warning notifications (e.g. turn red when garage door is open, flashed red/blue when the alarm is going off, etc). They're a hair more than other connected bulbs, but worth it!

I love the simplicity of this brand and was able to totally kit out our home with smart lights for an affordable price. However, although this listing states that it works with the Wink hub, it is only supported as a white bulb, no color. Had it been more truthful, I wouldnt have purchased this for the 300% increase in price for white light.

Update 08/24/2018: While the Wink Hub 2 doesn't support the color modes of these bulbs, I got a 3-bulb kit that comes with a little Sendled hub/bridge. I was able to pair my solo bulb with the other three, add the Sendled Home account to both Google Home and Alexa Skills, and can now control them through voice.

It's still a pain that I can't include them in Wink shortcuts and "robots", but assistants enable their function. I'm raising the review 2 stars because the bulbs themselves work. Sendled just needs to push and cooperate to get their bulbs to work with major hub manufacturers.

I hooked this thing up to my smartthings hub and pretty seamlessly just added it to my room. I have it connected to my Google Home so I can just tell it a color to change to and we're in business. I got this because it's pretty affordable and wanted to try having a color bulb to play with. My other Sengled bulbs have been pretty reliable and I expect the same from this one. I access the controls through smartthings, so if there's like a party mode or anything else special, I don't know about it. I set the color manually. But it does have normal "whites" colors for the standard bulbs range for the everyday settings.

Overall, pretty happy with it, it's been fun to mess with making my room bathed in a color for no reason and this is an easy, affordable way to do so

The bulbs were great as they didn't require the Sengled hub given I already had Samsung Smartthings hub. Color integration with Alexa works well also...however, the Alexa integration has preset colors only instead of a color wheel or ability to choose/set a particular RGB. This is minor given I can use SmartThings to choose colors, but a RGB ability may be a nice advanced feature. Very good look though for the function provided.

OK. For everyone saying the app is terrible and doesn't work etc... I don't believe them. The app has given me 0 issues. Do I think the app needs work? Yes, but it does everything it is supposed to do.

Pros:
-CHEAP! I mean I have experience with Phillip Hues and this is so much cheaper.
-App is easy to use and came pre-paired so all I had to do was plug in and setup.
-feels more durable than most eco friendly bulbs.

Cons:
Needs HUB. I mean I understand why but using a hub seems counter intuitive in 2018. Should be able to be used differently.
Seems adding lights may be a pain in the butt.

Been using this now since Friday and very happy. I'm going to see how the automatic timer works tomorrow.

I have several HUE bulbs and while I do prefer those for integration features with other apps to control multicolored scenes. If the Sengled bulbs can do the same, I have yet to figure out how. I am using a Hue hub for the Hue bulbs and a Sengled Hub for the Sengled RGB bulbs. so maybe a 3rd party hub can more tightly integrate the bulbs. If keeping all lights from sengled in a specific room this should not be an issue, save the quick ability to set a scene with say 4 bulbs with 4 different complementary colors, right now can only set all bulbs to same color in a room quickly.

Setup of the Sengled hub was troublesome, figured out the power adapter I received was defective (would not supply required voltage to power hub). I was able to solve this easily by plugging the USB power cable into a USB port on my router. I could have also used another USB power adapter for a phone/tablet tho. Once that was done setup was straight forward.

Alexa was able to control the bulbs without issue and is the main way I use these bulbs. I will be buying more of these based on their cost and equal brightness/luminescence to the more expensive Philips bulbs for specific rooms. In other areas of my house where I wish more control over the scenes and use with other phone/tablet apps, I will still be getting the Philips brand.

These bulbs are already giving me problems, and they've only been used for two days. Three out of the four bulbs are fine but there is one that doesn't change color with the others. When we check Alexa it shows that bulb 4 isn't connected. It seems like it will be an everyday problem with that one since the past two days we've had to reconnect it. Seems easier to just use the light switch and keep it in one color. If that is the case then we overpaid for "regular type" of light bulbs.

Very well made. Unlike the kind you hang on your door knob, you can install this somewhere only people you trust can find it. Spacious inside so you can stow keys to your front door, back door, gates, etc.

This is a great lockbox to put on a steel door or a wall. Now I use it for my drivers, so what is great if one leaves you just change the code without having to call a locksmith to change locks.

We love this guy! If we’re gokng out for a walk, we don’t even bring our keys because it’s so easy to get the spare one from the lockbox. The unit is very sturdy, but easy to open when you have the combo.

When I bought this it was 6 dollars cheaper then what it is currently selling and was hard to find it.

Packaging was utilitarian. The only hard thing was to remove the old showerhead which was rusted shut and had brown mold in the sides. Fortunately I used towels and done force with the wrench.

Using for a month took a few days to get use to the slightly diminished water pressure.

Unlike my old head I like how I can adjust the settings. I love this head and its self cleaning.

Easy installation. Water flow is steady on all the settings. Nothing negative to state.

Yesterday I installed the Chrome Shower Head with Massage & Self-cleaning Function in my shower and as advertised, it took only a minute to get this shower head attached and running; no tools are needed but Teflon tape should be used to seal the connection to the water source. The shower head has five settings which are easy to use and click nicely into place. I settled on the rain shower, which works well to give a full water shower experience. The shower head is designed to mix air and water and conserve water while still giving a satisfying shower experience. The pressure of the water coming from the shower head is moderate, not too hard or soft, but just right, in my opinion. The shower head can easily be adjusted to the best angle for the individual taking a shower. It is chrome-plated and should last a long time. The manufacturer tells us that this shower head never releases any toxic and harmful substances even after longtime use and has a self-cleaning function, which is good. The shower head has 130 nozzles and as mentioned this gives just the right water pressure for a comfortable shower experience. A short film at the end of the pictures displayed on Amazon shows just how this shower actually works. I am glad I ordered this item. Recommended.

TECCPO TBSH03Y 3.5 inch Shower Head has a full body chrome finish. It was easy to install, and the adjustment works flawlessly. I’m able to easily switch to the 5 modes: Pulse SPA, Rain Shower, Mist Spray, Bubble, and Bubble+Rain. I did find that on the mist spray, one of the nozzles shoots straight up in the air.

It has a swivel ball connection that seems to be anti-leak so far. We’ve only been using it for a week and no leaks yet!

Update: two months now, still no leaks. All the nozzles are still spraying. My favorite setting in an in-between the massage and spray. Works great and easy to switch between settings.

We replaced our old shower head that had started to leak with the Shower Head, TECCPO 3.5 Inch 5-setting High Pressure Fixed Chrome Shower Head. The new shower head was easy to install and, like the Amazon description states, it took less than two minutes and required no tools.

For the money (under $20) the shower head is satisfactory. I say this because it doesn’t match the power of our other shower head. Even though it has a 5-mode setting, none of the modes are as powerful as I would prefer, especially the pulse setting. Again, for the money, it’s a satisfactory product. Hopefully, it won’t clog or leak in the near future as so many of them do these days.

Love my new shower head. I've been issues with my old one for quite some time due to hard water deposits throughout the interior. I kept trying to see what I could to to fix it, but when the opportunity came to just replace it, I jumped at it.

Now my water flows freely and with great pressure and is SO much better!

Pressure is great. Even distribution of water is great. Honestly, this does what it says and the installation is beyond ridiculously simple. If that's holding you back, don't let it. Just get it and you'll see why.

I like the showerhead and its five options for your personal preference.
My only concern is about the self cleaning claim. In my experience, there is no shower head that is truly self cleaning as the deposits of calcium and lime accrue inside the showerhead, not on the outside. It would be wonderful to have one that doesn’t need to be removed and soaked in a product like CLR, but I don’t see how that’s possible.
I also like the size of this unit as it’s not tiny and not overly large like some of those shower heads that try to simulate being in the rain.

I am very impressed with this shower head. It is smaller in size and huge in performance. All the settings are very different and the head moves easily to each mode. Other shower heads I have tried similar to this have felt cheap when switching modes. This one does not. I also have low water pressure and though not advertised as such it does seem to enhance the power of the water flow. It was very easy to install and I highly recommend it. It will surely enhance the showering experience in any bathroom.

My husband installed this shower head for me because he can reach higher than me, but he did it so quickly. He unscrewed the old one and then screwed on the old one. It was that simple and easy.

I love the different settings, ranging from a rainforest on to a gentle spray. There was no leaking at all and I really like that it will not get clogged up. Best shower head that I have had so far!

Super easy to install. Took me less than 5 minutes to uninstall my old shower head and install this new one. The shower-head itself is small and compact. Also looks nice in the shower. And is well made. There are five spray modes and it easy to change between modes. My favorite is "rain shower" but I like to switch between spray modes periodically to get a different experience.

Pros: Fit and overall workmanship is what expected from Bosch. Tool is made in Malaysia. Fills good in hand, enough power to drill a pocket hole with 1" forstner bit. Changing attachments is easy. Charger works fast.
Cons: Battery retention clips are extremely stiff even for my hands. Changing the battery would be a struggle for an average teenager or a woman.
Adjustment of the positions on the offset and right angle attachments were not always easy. It felt like they were catching up on something when being pulled out to adjust, not always but enough times to notice. I think with some break-in time there will be no issues.
The biggest complaint by far is so called "soft case". Bosch description calls it a bag, which is what it is exactly. There is almost no padding, the cheap lunch box will have more. The Velcro retention straps are too short and hard to grab. There are no dedicated straps / positions for any of the attachments. Retention strap for the spare battery is too far away from the drill handle, and as a result takes up valuable storage space which could be allocated for an attachment.
Conclusion: So far seems to be adequate for what I need.

I often use this with its 90° adapter and Bosch's spade bits (from DSB5003) to get between closely spaced joists. First, the torque is lower than I expected considering the wondrous reviews others have given Bosch's 12V power tools. Second, the 90° adapter seems only to be able to click in at three angles, e.g., 120°, 240° and 0°/360°, but offset such that you'll never be able to hold the handle of the drill perpendicular to your work.

I've had 2 sets of the Bosch drill/drivers for a number of years. I like them because I am a woman with arthritis and many of the electric drills/drivers are so heavy that my hands hurt from using them. These are strong, well made and have long lasting batteries. They work better than some of the larger ones I have had in the past.

I've been an amateur carpenter/crude furniture maker all my adult life. I have every power tool and USE them. As a now aging 67+ GIRL, I find that holding my heavy 18V cordless drill is a bit hard wield, having aging girlie wrists. I really LOVE this drill. It's powerful enough for most things and high quality. Spend the extra $$$ and get this one.

I have a full set of the Bosch 12V power tools and they are my go-to tools for small/medium tasks (anything not requiring the big 18V tools). I purchased this set for off-site work as a space & weight saver. Couldn't be happier with this - very flexible, plenty of power (for 12V), and my 4-year old batteries still have plenty of power and capacity, leading me to believe these batteries will have a long useful life as well. I found a use for the offset driver attachment within days of receiving it. I love being able to keep bits in the head and just swap heads (from drill to Phillips driver, for example).

I still need to carry the impact driver, as this tool cannot perform that function, but that's the only thing I could think to add (if indeed that's possible) to make this the perfect power tool.

This is an excellent drill cabinetmakers, woodworkers, and finish carpenters. It’s ability to get into tight corners makes a lot of aftermarket drill accessories and specialty drills obsolete. The only thing you will need is a flex shaft. I hope at some point the parts of this drill and the drill itself can be purchased separately. It has the same power as every other non-impact 12V drill and performs very well. There is an 18V version in Europe at the moment FYI. Also, this drill should really come in an L-BOXX, but that’s nothing Kaizen foam can’t fix. If you are looking to get rid of carrying speciality drills and most accessories, this is your drill. I might add that the offset attachment will drive pocket screws with a 3” bit vs a 6”, but don’t expect this tool to efficiently drill a pocket hole.

I wanted to compare their max FlexiClick with the basic one and so far, they seem to be very similar.
The weight of both drills without batteries are: 1) Basic drill is 1lb 12oz. 2) Weight of the FlexiClick (with basic drill head) is 1lb 13.6oz. that 1.5 oz is very negligible! Fyi, the batteries add about 6 oz.

The look and feel of the FlexiClick is the same as the basic drill; it seems that they reused the body of the drill and the only difference is the easily removable head.

The attachments seem to work well and everything is easily attachable and detachable.

The only downside I've noticed is that the drill head seems too easy to unlock because it's right between two things we grab during normal use, the chuck and the clutch (?) Wheel. This seems like a small issue but I'll have to use this thing more b4 i can make a conclusion about it.

Overall, if you can get this on sale, then I'd recommend it. At full retail price, if you already have the regular drill, then I'd say you can skip this tool. The set does include two batteries with a charger so it seems like this is more intended for new 12v Bosch users; as far as i know, there is no bare tool version for sale.
For all you new customers, keep in mind that Makita has a full line of 12v too. Makita's line actually looks very appealing to me. And, No, the batteries and tools are not easily compatible. You have to mod either the tool or batteries to fit. If you don't have any 12v set, i would suggest looking at the line up of both brands.

The only reason i chose bosch was because it was the first small drill i found back in the day.

Finally, if you have the 12v Dremel tools And a 3d printer, you can mod the bosch and Dremel batteries to be interchangeable.

This little brute has plenty of power to handle tough drilling jobs, as well as plenty of torque settings (and two speed settings) to allow you to do fine/finish work without stripping screws or over sinking. I have drilled, or driven, everything from concrete down to kitchen cabinet fixtures and it performed well for all tasks. On a full charge, I get about 4 hours of moderate use, and with the included quick charge charger, the other battery will be ready to go when you need it. The LED light is surprisingly effective. The light weight really helps to cut down on arm fatigue, especially when drilling at shoulder height and above. The compact size really comes in handy for drilling in tight spaces, but don't let the small size dissuade you from going for this one. This thing has power comparable to my 18v, and I now use it as my go to drill.

This is a great 12V drill-driver, and I love the size and fit of it in my hand. It has more power than you would think. It's nearly a perfect product, and it's my go-to drill over my 18V drill. The only problem I have with it, and it's a very annoying problem, is that the battery is very hard to remove to put on the charger. I have to resort to using a big pair of pliers to clamp the sides of the plastic battery housing to get it to release its tenacious grip on the drill. Other than that, this is one of the few products I've bought here that I can actually say I 'love".

This little drill is amazing! I use it primarily for light housework (drilling holes for drywall anchors, assembling furniture, etc.). The battery life has been fantastic for me after about two months of light use -- my first battery has just dwindled from 3/3 to 2/3. The small form factor and weight make it very easy to get into tight places that a Dewalt can't get into with its bulky battery pack and longer length.

The unit comes with a soft case that holds the charger, the drill, and the spare battery. I am not a huge fan of this case, as the layout and fasteners are poor in my opinion and the soft case would be better replaced with a hard one. That said, the case is really my only complaint about this drill and otherwise it's a fantastic product.

 I love this light! It makes really cool patterns and nice color swirls form it’s Leds and does a very decent attempt at making “aurora” patterns with the red lasers in has. The has a remote control to edit the light functions and to control it as a Bluetooth speaker. The sound quality isn’t that great but it’s definitely not terrible and would be completely fine to a child’s ear or to play sleep sounds through. All in all it’s just a really fun and cool party light. I purchased two of them. If they were a little bit cheaper I’d probably order two maybe three more. I hope that it last long because if the motor breaks then you’d be stuck on whatever pattern the lumia wheel is stuck at. I’d recommend this to anyone at any age!

I purchased this product to provide a calling environment for my 6 month old to sleep. It works pretty well, but some improvements can be made.

Pros:
-Lots of choices for the light show. There are a wide number of light patterns to choose from. There are three brightness settings, plus the ability to turn off the lights. There is also a darkening lens, so a total of seven brightness levels are available. Regardless of how much light is desired, you should be able to find something that suits your needs.
-Light patterns aren't too repetitive and lots of color combinations and patterns are available. This keeps it interesting for adults and babies.
-There are six sounds to choose from in addition to Bluetooth, so there are lots of choices there, too. The sounds also are not overly repetitive.
-There is a remote control.
-The device has a sleep timer.

Cons:
-The remote is not backlit.
-The remote uses IR technology as opposed to RF. This means that there must be a line of sight between the remote and the IR sensor on the device. This limits where you can place the device in the room and you may have to hit a button more than once before the device reacts.
-Volume can be adjusted for Bluetooth audio; however, if volume can be adjusted for any of the pre-programmed white noise sounds, I haven't figured out how to adjust it. If I don't have the device on before I bring my baby into the room, turning it on will wake baby up because sure noise volume can't be turned on and adjusted up gradually.
-The speaker lacks bass, so white noise doesn't cover the full audible spectrum. Because babies seem to find lower frequencies soothing, it doesn't work quite as well as it could.

If you're willing to work around the shortcomings, this item works very well. With a few design tweaks, it would be perfect.

I've bought the other models both the one without the remote and the one with the remote several times and I just gifted this one to myself and let me say it is completely different from the others but mine blowing and still amazing!
Yes actually projects all throughout the room and the laser is thinner than the others but yet you still don't see a repeated image it's also darker and the Bluetooth is great on it.! I'm 42 and I'm not at all a "kid at heart" and I don't believe this is just for kids! This helps to soothe my stress it also helps with my anxiety and I love using aromatherapy and looking at the lights it is the most relaxing "me time" that I get! It will be literally blow your mind away it's fabulous and everyone should have one!!!!!

I was honestly impressed with the quality of this item for the $35 I paid. The bluetooth/white-noise speaker is more than loud enough for it's size. Plastic feels thick and durable for both the rippled light wheel and the main housing of the unit. Since it's using LEDs and a laser for the lights, I'm sure they'll last a long time. And given how simple the device itself is, I'm assuming the internals are of the same quality as the rest. I'm feeling confident in having gifted these to my five nieces and nephews, all from different families. Basically, I took a chance and got one for each house. =)

When the first one was delivered I took it out and played with it for an hour, and it's gorgeous. The remote is easy to use, once you understand that the track forward/reverse buttons are also the volume buttons. (Just tap when in white-noise mode or press and hold when in bluetooth mode, to adjust the volume.) The light intensity adjustments are very handy, since it'd be very bright in a small, dark room at the lowest setting. But, it could probably fill a 200 square foot room at the brightest setting. Just remember it's an aurora light show, not a lamp. lol It's not dim, but you're not going to be able to easily read a book with just this on in a large room. You will get a colorful light show the dances around on the ceiling.

Note: Do not look into the lights/laser at even the lowest setting when the smoked cover is not on!

So far, the kids all love them. No one has had any trouble plugging them in. Though, I did need to point out the the smoked cover can be removed to shine the aurora on the ceiling. Otherwise, the smoked cover really dims down the lights at even the highest setting, so it can be used as a soft nightlight. The box doesn't really make it clear that it's a dual purpose unit and most people don't actually read the entire manual. ;) Speaking of, the manual is fairly well written. You can tell it was translated to English, but there are just a few grammatical/syntax errors. They were just minor errors, which are no trouble to overlook and still understand the meaning of the sentence.

All in all it's a really fun, well made unit that was definitely worth what I paid. Fulfillment by Amazon meant I could be certain they would arrive before Christmas. And it turned out to be such a unique gift that the kids and parents were excited by it. My only regret is not buying myself one...

 This is the second time I've bought this product and I have two different experiences.
The first time I was looking for a quality noise machine for a 4 month old baby that i was room sharing with and this product wasn't the solution. Besides the fact that it stopped working first day and I Had trouble getting the remote to operate properly. The white noise was not the quality I needed for a small baby who wasn't sleep trained. So we ordered the DOHM.
Now my daughter is 1, and she sleeps peacefully always and she has her own bedroom. I bought this again, mostly as a fun nightlight for our evening bottle and for some petty ambiance before bed and I LOVE IT! It is really lovely and my daughter seems to really enjoy it. She used to play and climb around in her crib until she would settle down and go to bed, now she lays down in amazement. The sleep timer is a great option that is why we bought this upgraded version. The sound quality of the white noise is still inferior to the DOHM but, she seems ok with it. I did wish the volume worked from the remote but it doesn't seem too, or maybe it's operater error. I'm very happy that I have a remote so I can shut off the lights but leave the noise on at night and naptime. All in all, I'm super happy with this the second time around. I hope it continues to work properly.

This arrived today, I have prime, so I get fast shipping automatically.
One wall in my room is slanted, making it difficult for most light projectors to hit all four walls. I put a strong piece of Velcro on the slanted wall and the back of the projector. Doing this projects the light on three walls, the floor and ceiling. My two year old enjoys it and so do my cats.
The sounds loaded on the machine itself are okay, but no volume control and they're loud. Almost to the point of not being soothing.
For the bluetooth, you have to be extremely close to pair it to your device, but you don't have to stay close.
When playing your own music, the volume is incredibly low. My daughter was about 6 feet from it and could just make out the song. Because the "soothing" sounds were so loud, I expected the music to be loud. I had the music all the way up on my phone and it didn't make a difference. Would be a five star review if the speakers were louder and if there was volume control on the projector or remote.
I did take the cover off because it dims the light a lot and doesn't make as good of a projection with it on. It doesn't really snap in to place, either. Taking it out of the box, I pulled the cover right off.
The cord is much longer than I expected, too, which is great. I had one before and the cord was about 15 inches, with a giant plug. This one is just a micro USB and it came with the port. I would say it's between 3-5 ft, but you can purchase a longer one and use it without issue.
Overall, good purchase. I'm pleased with it. Not too sure it's worth the almost $32 price, though.

This is a wonderful device. It arrived in a nice retail box with instructions, and battery included for the remote. Even a spare battery was included. I had read several reviews and watched videos on youtube demonstrating the SOAIY Northern Light Projector. I plugged it in and pulled the protective tab from the remote. I also removed the dome cover for brighter performance. Everything worked as expected. The remote has about a twelve-foot range and does not have to be line of site if used in close proximity (8-10 feet). The remote has a lot of functions, but they are laid out logically. It was easy to memorize the main functions which is important since you will be using this remote in the dark most of the time. Our bedroom is 12' x 14' and the lighting easily covered the entire ceiling. I did prop it up at an angle since I had it positioned at one end of the bedroom. Even on the dimmest mode, the lights still filled the entire ceiling. The various light modes which included individual color modes and color combinations was a nice feature. My Wife and I switched through the modes and quickly found our favorite settings. The all red setting was particularly amazing. The rotation of the device was completely silent. My understanding was the earlier models had some noise issues. This one was totally silent. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a nice relaxing experience in the bedroom. I think it would be ideal for soaking in the tube as well. The only problem was the remote labeling was really small so I had to use a magnifying glass to memorize it. (I have bad eyes though) There are a lot of similar products available but I am so happy I picked this one!

Originally purchased this light for our Babyboys. This light looks and performs awesome. I had some issues with the rotating function first, so I did contact customer service. Stunned by their quick responds and service. They sent me a replacement in no time at no cost to me. Could even keep the first one. No issues with the new one. I love the way it projects on an angle so you can put it close to the wall instead of the middle of the room. Even though if you like you can make it project straight up by a little stand what you can flip out. Amazing different patterns inclusive a laser aurora. Great relaxing sounds with volume control. Via Bluetooth you also can play anything you like. Timer and light strength are useful too. Really a great little cool projector.

We purchased the older model a few years ago, but after being man-handled by our children for ~4 years the motor gave up the ghost. We were originally going to replace it with the same older version, but I decided to give the newer model (with built-in noise-maker) a try and I’m so glad we did.
1) Make sure you take off the cover so you can really see the light show on the ceiling.
2) love the remote with the option to set the timer to 1hr, 2hr, or no-timer
3) sound-maker isn’t super high quality but it’s perfect for our children

Finally, we bought 2 of these but the 2nd one came with a broken motor (to turn the disc). I emailed SOAIY and they responded immediately and sent us a replacement within a couple of days. Not every product is going to be perfect, but I love it when a company is so willing to take care of you. 5 Stars for customer support!!!

update: So I started using this when I go to sleep. I'm a very light sleeper and repetitive noise usually bothers me. So far I have listened to the pre installed- ambient sounds. Summer night & ocean/waves. I really enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. I thought I would just use it for a bit get annoyed and turn it off, but it's very relaxing. My gf really enjoyed it also and she actually requests me to turn it on sometimes.

I've been wanting one of these Aurora Led lights for a while. I totally forgot about it and recently started looking into LED lights for halloween decor. I need some type of light to enhance my fog chiller for halloween. Ran into the Aurora LED again. Ordered one and got delivered on Saturday, but it was not rotating. Everything else worked but the rotation. Did an excahnge and just got the new one the other day. Turned it on just to test out and it's really awesome. You can get lost in the lights for a bit. I really enjoyed it. Bought it as a Halloween prop, but I'm going to end up using it also. Will post pics after Halloween tonight when I run it in the yard.
