I got lots of comments on the watch. Looks great, doesn't have that premium feel to it and if you shake your wrist it rattles, not super loud, but enough to immediately tell that it is not an expensive watch.

I really like this band. I purchased it after my previous metal/magnetic band kept snagging on all my clothes. No snagging here. It fits great with my Charge watchface, no issues with it popping off or spaces/jagged edges where the band and face meet. The look is really sleek, classy, and fun. It does not have a workout/function-over-form feel; it looks more like jewelry. I like the bit of chain that dangles down from the closure. Just watch out if you're laying down and raise your arm to head - the end of the chain has landed in my eye and surprised me more than once. Obviously that's a user issue, lol. The only drawback that I've experienced has been the metal ball closure loosening a little too easy, which means the face rotates off the center of my wrist and doesn't catch my heartbeat well. It's not a big deal, I usually just re-tighten it frequently. I missed one night of sleep tracking due to this, but that's not a huge deal for me. I did discover that if you wear one of those kid's rubber band bracelets too, it holds it in place pretty well, so there's that!

I really like the color and design of this band. It comes with a screen cover, which is nice, but it allows a lot of dust to get underneath so I'll continue using the screen protectors I've already purchased. The only thing I don't really like is how difficult it is to get the band to the right size, one millimeter off and it's either cutting off your circulation or spinning around your wrist. If you care at all about having the little metal strings matching in length then you'll be trying to get it on for a minute. It's also pretty hard to pull considering you need to use one hand to pull the strings and push the little buttons on the ball to get the string to go through. Therefore I will use this when I need a fancy band and that's really it.

I really love the look of this band replacement for my fitbit although it doesn't really stay tight and the watch face kept sliding to the palm side of my wrist which is kind of annoying. I will mostly wear this when I am going out to dinner, ect but not for 24/7 daily wear.

This band is really cute! I love the adjustable chain part of it and it functions really well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish there was an option to choose other colors, but that’s just my personal preference. The band seems to be made of good quality and the chain is sturdy!

It turn out to be better than I expected, it fits prefectly with the Fitbit Charge 3 and the material has very good quality.

I like the design of the band and I love how it fits on my wrist. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because the screen protector came already slightly scratched and cruddy looking. It's not worth returning it since I only got this product so I can wear my fitbit to nicer events and don't need the screen protector for that

This looks really nice on. It's a great option to dress up your Fitbit if you're a religious Fitbit wearer. The metal is not bendable. One of the sides fit just a little funny on my wrist and I would have liked to be able to bend it a little. That said, it was fine as is.
I didn't like the screen cover part and that's what I was most interested in. It gets dust under it and moves around. I don't think I'll ever wear that part. 🤷 Oh well.

We love it!!! My husband is happy with this gift. This Blue and this brown combine very well. The watch is perfect for the day and for the night. It's not look cheap.

It is basically a small 24 hour clock that shows AM or PM with a sun or stars. The other 2 subdials are chronograph (or stopwatch). They seemed non functional to me at first, but it turns out one is a second hand and the other a minute hand. The movement is subtle. If you have any watch repair tools (buy a set if you don't) it is easy to adjust the size. If you don't I could easily see someone breaking either the supplied tool or the watch by being to aggressive. I tried the included tool and it started to bend. All in all a pretty nice looking watch.

Watch is good looking; looks like much more expensive watch. Has an exceptional metal band with hidden clasp. Stop watch buttons standout better than other watches. All functions work well.

Havent had this watch for too long but so far so good. The metal bracelet is decent. But switched it out with a black nato strap with black hardware. Lume is pretty great, does not last all night but all the numbers do light up. Slowly dims within 10 minutes but can still see the numbers in the dark. I'm on the smaller wrist category and this fits perfectly, 6.5 in wrist.

I like the looks and feel of the watch but it doesnt fit? It's too small for my wrist, and I have normal size wrists?

It is polished and beautiful, yet still woodsy and rustic looking. I haven't had the watch long enough to know how well it holds up, but it feels like a sturdy crafted piece that will hold up for a long while. We love it!

It's a good looking watch, and appears to keep accurate time (as would be expected from a quartz watch). The Chronograph seconds hand stutters a lot between about 6 o'clock and 1 o'clock, but as far as I can tell, it's still accurate enough for a basic lap timer. The one thing I would like to see is a half link on the bracelet for better sizing.

If you have any watch repair tools (buy a set if you don't) it is easy to adjust the size. If you don't I could easily see someone breaking either the supplied tool or the watch by being to aggressive. I tried the included tool and it started to bend. All in all a pretty nice looking watch.

Watch is good looking; looks like much more expensive watch. Has an exceptional metal band with hidden clasp. Stop watch buttons standout better than other watches. All functions work well.

Havent had this watch for too long but so far so good. The metal bracelet is decent. But switched it out with a black nato strap with black hardware. Lume is pretty great, does not last all night but all the numbers do light up. Slowly dims within 10 minutes but can still see the numbers in the dark. I'm on the smaller wrist category and this fits perfectly, 6.5 in wrist.

I like the looks and feel of the watch but it doesnt fit? It's too small for my wrist, and I have normal size wrists?

The manufacturer told me that the item I received was defective and they fixed the issues in the product. They refunded the full amount which I appreciate.
Regarding point 2), I figured that I had to crank time by 12 hours to change the date switching time from noon to midnight.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
The watch looks nice and feels nice. Unfortunately, there are problems.
1) It's been less than a month, and the leather is already peeling and tearing apart (see pic). It is much worse than my $12 Chinese watch.
2) The date keeps switching to the next day every noon. I tried setting it in the morning, in the afternoon, or at night. Same result. It's like magic.
3) The time is not very accurate. I have to adjust by as much as 4 min every week. Again, my $12 Chinese watch is doing better than this.

This watch should cost $10 instead of $100. How come?

Lug width is 20mm, which is a great, bc that means that i can put any strap available in the market, because most of them come in that size.

Sharp, classy, dappered and elegant. Better than a daniel wellington watch and much more affordable.

I have been collecting Stuhrling watches for some time now and they have been amazing both in image and quality. I have always appreciated the simple designs of these dress watches, but most importantly, I have been very pleased with the durability of each one that I have owned. Of all the watches that I have purchased from Stuhrling, only one of them has had a minor issue. Even with that incident, the customer service team was very prompt on correcting the issue and sending me a replacement watch that was perfect.

I have had this watch for about a month now and so far without any issues.
The design is minimalist and simple but looks very classy, it's exactly what I wanted. The watch itself is a little large, but nothing to cause discomfort, sits well on your hand. I also love that its not very light, its not too heavy but it certainly feels good.

Several small issues, not huge problems but would make the watch much more comfortable if updated:
1. The little thing you turn to change the time is too large, you can see in the picture, its completely unnecessary and could be much smaller.
2. The the leather is garbage. First of all its not leather, it feels uncomfortable and doesn't sit right. After some use I will change it for sure. Frankly this is the biggest issue with the watch.
3. The second hand and the minute hand are almost identical.

Overall I love the watch, the small issues I have listed are not that important to me. Will update if something happens to the watch as the time passes.

The box it came in is very impressive! First impressions are important and the box is its own stand alone presentation for a watch as nice as this. The watch is a very nice looking all occasion timepiece! I purchased the 3997Z Men's Watch with Calfskin Leather Strap. As with my other Stuhrling watches, I was very impressed when I received my shipment. Thin and elegant, yet a large face at 40 millimeters. I think the watch would look nicer with a black strap as opposed to the brown, but that's just my own own personal preference.
I was really looking forward to receiving my timepiece, but once it arrived, I was unable to get it around my wrist. The description states the band width at 22 millimeters, as you can see in the photo, mine is only 20 millimeters. After contacting the company, I was offered another band at a discounted price. I am on disability at this time, so a larger band will need to be put on the back burner for the time being.
I will update when I am able to "purchase" another band that will reach around my wrist. (hence the minus one star) It still looks GREAT in the box, can't wait to ware it!

This isn't my first Stuhrling... not by a long shot. I fell in love with some of their older discontinued skeleton automatic watches. I needed something that suits the every day need for work and professional meetings. This is that watch. I chose the one with a white face and blue highlights. The blue hands show up well on the watch and I don't need reading glasses to see it. One thing - the band was too short for a big guy... I had to order a replacement. This will now be my go-to daily watch. This won't be my last Stuhrling. VERY. WELL. MADE.

I recently had a bit of interest in watches. While I admittedly bought (and didnt return) far too many cheaper models of watches from amazon (24 roughly in two 12 watch case holders), my favorite nice watch is this one. It’s simplicity is unique while it retains a heightened class despite the simplicity. It fit well after i removed a couple of bars. I bought far cheaper and far more expensive models, but this one is my favorite.

Pros:
It is nice, simple decent looking watch. It comes in a box and packing that makes it look like a luxury watch. The box makes it awesome gift for any occasion. Making a watch is not tough but making it thin and light weight is an art, this watch does a decent job in this regard. So light weight that you do not even feel it. The grey color of the watch matches with most suites much better than what I expected.
Cons: My wrists are very small so the dial is a little large for me. Crown appears bigger and little out for this thin watch. Leather strap felt a little hard initially, may be because it is brand new leather.
All in all, it is a decent watch with a reasonable price that can be gifted on almost any occasion to almost any relation. Its decency lies in its simplicity.

Love the look of the watch. It is very accurate. It is perfect for casual or formal. I bought it to replace my last Stuhrling that I unfortunately dropped and broke on a recent vacation. My only complaint is that the band could be a bit longer. I do not have big wrists, and I have it just barely clipped at the very end of the band. I'm so pleased with Stuhrling that it will be my next watch as well. For the money, the quality is hard to believe.

I had four costume jewelry watches with dead batteries. When I counted up the money it would take for a shop to replace the batteries, I purchased this kit instead. Four watches with fresh batteries later, I now have a suite of watch repair tools to pass on down to the kids when it's their turn. The tools are well made, so they should last, and though the directions could use a *bit* more illustration, I feel I can take on most watch challenges in the future. If you have a Rolex, you should probably take it to a jeweler. But, for costume jewelry, I doubt this kit can be beat.

Please note that I am not a professional watch repairer. I use this for sizing my watches (or the rest of my families watches) or to replace the batteries when they die out. I have several watches and so does my wife and son and I'm the lucky one who gets to work on all the watches in the house 😒. I've bought two other cheap watch repair kits for $5 a piece. Well you get what you pay for with those as the pin pusher is made of really cheap plastic that breaks easily. Not with the metal one included in this bad boy. It also comes with 3 manual pin pushers. I won't list everything as you can see what it comes with based on the images I have provided, but I will let you know what I liked and didn't like about this set.

Likes:
I really liked the fact that it came with a crazy amount of replacement springs for watch bands of all sizes. The metal pin pusher is what really sold me on this kit though and it works great because you can also adjust the height of the base that holds the braclet part of the watch while you work on the pins. The two pry tools are awesome due to the sizes available. The smaller one felt like I was able to use more force without it being uncontrollable. The watch brace was something that I didn't have in my previous cheaper kits and I really enjoyed being able to utilize this new arsenal. This gives me the ability to grip the watch better without worrying about me scratching the lens. The spring tool bars made my life so much easier as I used to have to use the prying tool to try and get these back into place which is not an easy task. It also comes with replacement tips for the spring tool bar which is a great bonus in case you damage it.

Dislikes:
I did not like the way the opening tool used to open the back of watch works. The part that is screwed in for water proof watches has notches (grooves) that you would use this tool to unscrew it. It didn't offer much surface area so it put a lot of strain on my fingers and it came loose frequently because of the way it tightens. I actually ended up putting the one from my cheaper kits in this set for future use. It also didn't come with needle nose pliers and again I used the one provided from my previous set and put it in this kit as well. Other than that I am extremely satisfied with this kit and would recommend it to anyone who needs to replace their own batteries or size their bands. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps.

I needed to change a watch battery and adjust a strap. I brought the watches to a jeweler and they quoted $40 for the services. I purchased this product and in 10 minutes had both tasks accomplished. Total cost under $15 with the new battery. The tools are not the highest quality but they do the job. I probably would. It use this for a TAG watch but it works well. Bottom line, it pays for itself in one use.

I recently purchased a band for my Fitbit Charge 3 that used a tool to adjust the size of the band. The tool that came with the band was not lined up correctly and I was not able to use it. I ordered this kit and was able to adjust my band in about 2 minutes which was awesome after my husband and I attempted the other tool for about 15 min before we gave up. I now also have the tools to change my watch batteries rather than having to take them to a jewelry store to have the backs removed. I believe these tools would come in handy for other small screws and times as well. Very happy with this purchase.

I received this set today, and easily removed links from two watches. I also was able to remove the backs from four watches needing batteries. The quality of the tools is better than expected. The booklet isn’t the greatest, but it’s enough to get you started, and any additional information that’s needed can be found on YouTube. Definitely worth purchasing!

This item had probably the best mix of reviews from many that I looked at. It turned out to be pretty good. I have only used few of the tools in this kit, but it made my life much easier. I have shortened metal bands and replaced batteries on three watches so far, and it took me only few minutes each. I'm very happy with this kit, especially considering it's low price.

The toolkit helped out plenty when I replaced watch batteries on 3 watches. My challenge is that by being as old as I am my eyesight and hand stability isn't what it once was. When I took out a screw (which is the size of the head of a pin) for one battery replacement it took awhile to get it back in. I used a magnifying glass mounted on a stand with a led light to help see what I was doing. For someone like me, I need a head mounted loupe set that has a flashlight on it to make the job easier. I haven't gotten to reducing wristband sizes yet. But, I have 3 watches to do that with. So far the tool set has been fun to play with. I just need to understand what I'm doing and improve my skill level. The batteries are very cheap from Amazon and it cost me around $3 for the 3 watches and it tool about 5 minutes total. Pretty easy and it makes me wonder why I paid $13 for a battery replacement recently.

The ONLY thing I did not like about this watch was the ticking noise that it makes every second. Bought this on a gamble. Needed to remove the metal rolex-type bracelet from a watch. Had previously spent $20. on a swiss springbar removal tool, but that tool's tip was too big to fit into the watch recess. I could find no smaller tip for exchange. I was eyeing another swiss tool with a finer tip for $23; this made-in-china item looked like an exact clone. Took the gamble, went el cheapo, and it's great! Took me two minutes to extract the bracelet with this Chinese clone. And it's higher quality than the original Swiss tool that didn't work. For the price, it fully deserves the 5 star rating I am giving it. It also comes with silicone tip protectors, and a nice small plastic box to store the tips.
The tweezers look high quality: very fine tips that meet exactly. The extra springbars have a very generous selection.
I've only had this tool a short time. I will amend it if something comes up that detracts from the 5 stars.

when I bought this, I saw some comments talking about quality blah blah blah pointing to another one that's 3 times as much because it's better steel or something... If you're not a watchmaker and you just need to change bands every few weeks, this thing is works perfectly well and It doesn't seem like "inferior" quality to me. If it's not stainless steel, I wouldn't know it. I'm writing this review without checking. It takes my watch bands on and off of my Tudor Heritage Black Bay, and it does it without scratching anything. The set of spring bars has been incredibly helpful.

Oh yeah.... when you first get it, the tool is assembled and has a forked end already screwed in appearing ready to go. They include instructions to specifically remove that and toss it and replace it with one of the other two included ones in the tool. I didn't listen, of course, and that first one broke pretty quickly. I bought this months ago and been using it often to change bands and since changing the tip like they instructed, it's been fine and if it was inclined to break easily I'm pretty sure I would have broken it, I'm by no means gentle with the tool. It works fine.

I ordered this set to install and adjust a stretch watch band. I used to do this back in the 70's when I worked in the jewelry department of a discount store and I knew that special tools helped with the process. This set came with multiple-sized tips for springing the band from the watch - you screw them into the handle. The set also came with a bunch of pins in various sizes and a pair of sharp-tipped tweezers. No complaints about the toolset at all. With a refresher course from a YouTube video and a magnifying light, I was able to shorten and install the band on my watch. The set may come in handy for other small-item repairs at some point so not necessarily a one-use purchase.

This seems to be a good product but I should have read the description closer. It has the tools and the spring pins to fix many watch bands. But I need the pins for the links of the band, not the spring pins for the end of the band. This is my fault though and not a reflection on the company. I am sure I will find these pins useful in the future.

After years of struggling, scratching watch cases (a Rolex no less) and practicing four letter words, this simple well made tool shocked me how well it's made and how easily it works. I took a band off a watch in literally one second of time. And it was a stiff canvas type military band that is tuff to 'compress' to expose the spring bar. Before I worked with a knife and small screwdriver for minutes. My son paid a jeweler $5 to swap a watch band. If you use this tool just once your sanity and watch finish is saved. Michael Josh also sends to duplicate ends to the tool in case you damage of bend one. He also includes a friendly note requesting if anything with the tool is not up to par just call him. PS- if you replace your old watch band with a great BARTON quick release band you will not need this tool, at least after you get the old band off.

Extremely good value here! Tools in the kit are of extremely high quality. Spring bar tool its self is nice and comes packaged with additional tips. Included ESD compliant tweezers are a nice addition. The included assortment of spring bars seem to be of pretty nice quality, though I can not yet speak of their longevity or durability over time. That being said at only 10 dollars for the whole kit I wouldn't expect the highest quality of spring bars. Overall this is an incredible value!

LOVE THIS PRODUCT. A lot of watch people give this free with purchase but the tool is 3 inches long. This tool is about 6 in Long which makes doing the job much easier (dont be a perv) the 7 Bucks is well worth it plus it comes with a pair of pointed tweezers and a small kit of watch Springs. Springbar tool was constructed of quality materials. It features a straight tip on one end and an angled tip on the other. Replacement tips are included as are a box of various sized spring bars and a set of precision tweezers. A very nice purchase and it was promptly shipped.

I recently got into Nato watch straps and wanted to be able to change straps without having to go to the watch repair shop.

I was shocked at how much stuff came with the tool. I thought I was just getting the tool and a few pins. It came with a bunch of pins, tips, and even instructions. I couldn't be happier. It worked perfectly for me.

I really like this band. I purchased it after my previous metal/magnetic band kept snagging on all my clothes. No snagging here. It fits great with my Charge watchface, no issues with it popping off or spaces/jagged edges where the band and face meet. The look is really sleek, classy, and fun. It does not have a workout/function-over-form feel; it looks more like jewelry. I like the bit of chain that dangles down from the closure. Just watch out if you're laying down and raise your arm to head - the end of the chain has landed in my eye and surprised me more than once. Obviously that's a user issue, lol. The only drawback that I've experienced has been the metal ball closure loosening a little too easy, which means the face rotates off the center of my wrist and doesn't catch my heartbeat well. It's not a big deal, I usually just re-tighten it frequently. I missed one night of sleep tracking due to this, but that's not a huge deal for me. I did discover that if you wear one of those kid's rubber band bracelets too, it holds it in place pretty well, so there's that!

I really like the color and design of this band. It comes with a screen cover, which is nice, but it allows a lot of dust to get underneath so I'll continue using the screen protectors I've already purchased. The only thing I don't really like is how difficult it is to get the band to the right size, one millimeter off and it's either cutting off your circulation or spinning around your wrist. If you care at all about having the little metal strings matching in length then you'll be trying to get it on for a minute. It's also pretty hard to pull considering you need to use one hand to pull the strings and push the little buttons on the ball to get the string to go through. Therefore I will use this when I need a fancy band and that's really it.

I really love the look of this band replacement for my fitbit although it doesn't really stay tight and the watch face kept sliding to the palm side of my wrist which is kind of annoying. I will mostly wear this when I am going out to dinner, ect but not for 24/7 daily wear.

This band is really cute! I love the adjustable chain part of it and it functions really well. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish there was an option to choose other colors, but that’s just my personal preference. The band seems to be made of good quality and the chain is sturdy!

It turn out to be better than I expected, it fits prefectly with the Fitbit Charge 3 and the material has very good quality.

I like the design of the band and I love how it fits on my wrist. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because the screen protector came already slightly scratched and cruddy looking. It's not worth returning it since I only got this product so I can wear my fitbit to nicer events and don't need the screen protector for that

This looks really nice on. It's a great option to dress up your Fitbit if you're a religious Fitbit wearer. The metal is not bendable. One of the sides fit just a little funny on my wrist and I would have liked to be able to bend it a little. That said, it was fine as is.
I didn't like the screen cover part and that's what I was most interested in. It gets dust under it and moves around. I don't think I'll ever wear that part. 🤷 Oh well.

Nice looking watch. I am 5'8" and 155 lbs. The watch seems a little big on my wrist, but it isn't heavy so not that big of a con. I like the sundial that shows the sun and stars. It is basically a small 24 hour clock that shows AM or PM with a sun or stars. The other 2 subdials are chronograph (or stopwatch). They seemed non functional to me at first, but it turns out one is a second hand and the other a minute hand. The movement is subtle. If you have any watch repair tools (buy a set if you don't) it is easy to adjust the size. If you don't I could easily see someone breaking either the supplied tool or the watch by being to aggressive. I tried the included tool and it started to bend. All in all a pretty nice looking watch.

Watch is good looking; looks like much more expensive watch. Has an exceptional metal band with hidden clasp. Stop watch buttons standout better than other watches. All functions work well.

Havent had this watch for too long but so far so good. The metal bracelet is decent. But switched it out with a black nato strap with black hardware. Lume is pretty great, does not last all night but all the numbers do light up. Slowly dims within 10 minutes but can still see the numbers in the dark. I'm on the smaller wrist category and this fits perfectly, 6.5 in wrist.

I like the looks and feel of the watch but it doesnt fit? It's too small for my wrist, and I have normal size wrists?
