So I'm not a huge backpack guy - I get something that works, and I make it work for a long time. My last backpack lasted me over 5 years and the only reason I needed a new one is because it couldn't fit my giant laptop. I got this mainly due to the looks, but it's functionally pretty good too and I think I'll be taking it on vacation too and here's the main reason for that - It has a zipper that can be only opened with the backpack off. Many places in Europe where it is crowded have theft issues on tourists because they keep all their valuables on the outside pocket where it is easy to be stolen. This backpack solves that while allowing me to keep so much in it.

The shoulder padding is good enough where they feel fine going across campus all day and the material of it feels good to the touch as well. It's a minimalist backpack that has form and function. The passthru USB port works as long as you have your own battery pack and the best part is that you can connect any USB cable to it so I let my friends charge their iphones and later I can still charge my LG phone with a type c cable. My only concern is that over time, if I use an obscenely large water bottle like the 1+ liter ones, the fabric material might stretch too much that I won't be able to hold smaller bottles anymore, but time will tell and I'll update my review if I have any issues.

I live in Portland where it rains 75% of the time. Unfortunately due to the expenses of driving, I have to ride my bike to school every day rather than drive. My previous backpack kept getting soaked and ruining my books, making it harder to read and such. Thankfully this backpack is waterproof and stylish!

This Travel Laptop Bag/Backpack, is very well padded compared to backpacks i've seen that have slots for computers. This whole bag is made of pad material pretty much. There are also a lot of pockets and dividers in this, with two separate outer zippered compartments in front of the main opening and one hidden padded and zippered compartment in the lumbar region. There are also water bottle holders on both sides, that stretch open with an elastic band. The main compartment has a padded pouch for your computer w a velcro'd basket handle strap, to keep the computer from falling out if you have the main compartment zipper unzipped.

The unique feature of this backpack is the integrated and attached USB cord (female outside, male inside) so that you can plug your devices into the side of the pack directly, without having to fuss around w threading a wire through some hole in the bag or having to open the zipper at all. This is great if you need a quick charge for your phone, for example, have your own backup battery pack, and want to keep carrying your bag around as you charge and use your phone. This is a versatile bag, that will hold a computer and a binder (inch) or two worth of papers along w some books. The bag is straight up and down from a side angle, and is meant for documents mainly (vs. gym clothes). The bag looks reasonably professional as well, considering it is a backpack.

i got this backpack to gift to a family member, but now i might just gift the older one i got and keep this one! loving the safety compartment that sits right on my back, i can put a passport or something else valuable in there and not be concerned with someone stealing it. also the side compartments are large enough to hold my old hydroflask 24 oz, something i doubted at first glance (but the compartment stretched enough to hold it, and hold it snugly)

one minor gripe is that i thought there was an additional zippered compartment on the front, there is one that opens 2/3rds up the backpack but the bottom third line is just for looks. Dont mind too much as the rest of it is pretty roomy.

The Backpack is an amazing quality build that is lightweight and comes with more than enough space for my college needs! I tested how much I could pack inside and I was able to fit my Xbox One X, 17.3 inch laptop, all the chargers and cords necessary, MacBook, iPad and 4 notebooks with 2 folders and all the extra necessities I needed with ease!

Using this backpack, I’ve never felt more confident about the contents inside staying dry during long walks to lectures. I’ll try to update this review after next semester and tell you all how it holds up!

When I received the product it was folded in a plastic bag. once unpackaged, it was beautiful! Everything about the bag was professionally done, the bag is strong, sturdy, and felt great and secured. The main reason why i got it was the size, I have a hp 17 omen and I needed a bag. finding a bag that has protection and space. This pass the test for miles! not only does the designated pocket fits. there is so much space for more gear like my mouse and headphones. I definitely recommend this awesome bag.

Very slick looking backpack that is compact. Backpack works well and contains everything I need easily.
Note if you need to carry a few textbooks this laptop backpack won't work well for you.

A nice touch is that the USB extension slot/ port is actually removable. That was my concern when purchasing this product when that usb cable eventually fails you are left with a useless port.
Note the USB extension opening can let in a bit of water in heavy rain but nothing major to be concerned about due to the design with the opening facing downward.

Purchased this to carry my laptop and other items while I am on crutches recovering from knee surgery. I did not know what to expect when I purchased it but I am so pleasantly surprised at how light the backpack is. Also, it is surprisingly very roomy and has several pockets to compartmentalize. The straps have padding as well as the back of the backpack on the outside so it protects me from feeling all the items inside the backpack. The look is professional. Size is perfect: not too small, not too big. The material, though it's light in weight, feels sturdy and is plyable, not stiff. Highly recommed it.

I did a LOT of reading about these things before making the decision to purchase 4 of them, and I couldn't be happier. My husband and I wanted to be able to keep in better touch with his parents and grandmother, my parents, and my sister who lives out of state. We wanted something simple that our parents could use, since they always spend half of our video chats unable to get their microphones on their laptops to work, or some other technical issue. It also seemed like having a device specifically made for video calling would cause us to talk more often. We never think to open Skype or other programs up on our devices (or even call them on the phone for that matter), but having a device out in the open with the person's name and face popping up whenever they become "active" on Messenger really makes me excited to hit the call button just to check in and say "hi" and chat.

I was nervous before purchasing because of the number of articles that claimed the idea of them was "creepy" and that they had an "always listening microphone". What they didn't explain is that there is a button on the top of the device that turns both the camera and the microphone off, and the device displays a red light when they're both turned off (pictured). It also comes with a camera cover.

The speakers in this thing are LOUD. I haven't turned it up past 2/3 of its limit. Camera tracking and video calls are perfect. I've been using Spotify on this almost nonstop since we received it, and what also surprised me was that when I started it on the Portal, Spotify popped up on my phone and allowed me to control the Portal volume and change the songs on it from my phone, like a remote.

I am very, very happy with this purchase. It honestly far exceeded my expectations. I'm excited for how easy it suddenly is to stay in touch with our loved ones, and how this device encourages you to call and talk to people. Anyone who says that you can do the same with a tablet, how often are you actually sending video calls from your tablet? This is a video phone, and every time I look at it, it makes me want to reach out to my family. I love it.

Amazing video call quality but limited other functionality. Strong buy for those who want to keep in touch with family across the country. Until you make a call with Portal, you don’t realize how much cognitive overhead your incur through parsing garbled conversations over cell and VoIP.

I bought it for hands-free youtube viewing of cooking instructions and it works well because it stands on my kitchen counter. It has a roving camera which follows me as I move around the kitchen. Its convenient to have everything in one portal which includes access to facebook, photo album viewing, messenger conferencing with max of 7 people, youtube, and has alexa voice command.

A room for improvement is about the power. It should be rechargeable to make it portable. It still has a wire for plugging in to power outlet.

So only super biased and negative people can give one or two stars. This product is absolutely phenomenal when it comes to video calling. Portal definitely takes video calling to whole another level.

I know there have been some bad reviews about this product, but so far it has been worth every penny of its $149.00.

My father lives 1400 miles away and has cancer. The joy he got the first time it connected and he got to video chat with his grandchildren was a phenomenal moment. He giggled and kept saying over and over how much he loved his Christmas gift. Whatever else people say about Facebook, thank you for these memories.

I would have never asked for or purchased one of these but we got 2 for Christmas. I seriously thought about exchanging them for something else because I wasn't interested in a FaceBook camera. I decided to give it a try and wow did it win me over. We live away from all our family and video chat with them often and this device makes it so much easier. The camera being able to follow you around during a call and the fact that it's done locally on the device and none of that data is being processed by Facebook's servers is totally awesome! I believe most people will hesitate to buy this because of the mishandling of user info that Facebook is known for but this is an simple awesome piece of technology that is awesome for staying connected to love ones.

People are biased against it befause Facebook made it, but it's really a great product. I don't understand the Facebook hate bandwagon anyways.

The initial review below was an accurate depiction of how the Portal was performing, even after following all of Amazon's suggestions that it had to be the wifi router, Internet service, to may devices in the home.

How I fixed it: I installed a BitDefender Box 2 (also purchased here on Amazon).
Configured it to protect my Cable Company WiFi Hub .
Forced portal restart by pulling the plug and leaving it without power for ~30 minutes.
Plugging it back in. During the startup of the portal, BitDefender Box 2 located the issue and blocked the numerous additional ports being opened by portal apps, which were not in the legitimate port ranges for the portal.
Seems that one or more portal application providers may have security issues.
Also blocked Alexa from phoning home without user interaction.
Recommendation: If you plan on purchasing a Portal, get a BitDefender Box 2 as well.

The Portal is a pretty neat concept, with useless "streaming" capabilities.
Alexa is the voice interface, through which you start streaming music, podcasts, videos, etc.
Except that, the device randomly pauses and locks up, not responding to voice commands until reset.
I have a 100MB download circuit and use 5G wireless with the portal about 10 feet from the router, and the portal powered and protected by a UPS/Batter Backup.
I also have Alexa on my smartphone, and it will stream while on wifi from the same source, Amazon Prime Music without missing a beat, as will the desktop I'm using to write this review.

I doubt this review will be up long, as one thing amazon does is police their reviews.

Fantastic picture quality. Limited apps at first start up. Super easy setup.

We have for years been trying to find a device that would allow us to video call with my mother-in-law who is in her 80’s. We have hit wall after wall until the Facebook Portal came along. She finally was open to it when she saw the ease of use! She was already familiar with Facebook messenger, so there was nothing really new for her to learn! The camera cover is also a great security add and brings a sense of peace to the user. We also got one for my parents (early 70’s) and they set it up by themselves and jumped right on with no issues! It is really saying something when our senior community feels at ease using the product!

As far as the call quality, if you are in good WiFi, the quality is excellent!! I would say the best feature is how the camera moves to keep the caller in focus and on camera! It is also neat how it enlarges when other people come into view! We really can’t say enough good things! I just wish we could have had this years ago! This is a game changer!

EDIT 10/2/18: The seller responded to my initial 2-star review by replacing the damaged sleeve and explaining where to look for install instructions (it's one of the photos on the product sale page). I guess that was my oversight, but it would be nice to have some instructions or tips that come with the product itself.

Overall, the sleeve has a nice feel and fits naturally in the hand to write or draw with the Apple Pencil. Not sure about other people, but one of the things that bugs me about the Apple Pencil is the smooth/slick finish. If your hands have any moisture on them, it's hard to grip the pencil securely. This sleeve provides some friction for you to grip and draw without it slipping. The only thing that is a little difficult is getting the sleeve on and off.

Follow the instructions, but be very careful you don't force it too hard or grip the pencil too hard. I'm starting to get the hang of it now. Once installed, it works great. The sleeve bulges out slightly toward the tip end of the pencil which helps you keep a nice grip. It is way better to draw with this sleeve on than with nothing on the pencil, in my opinion. With the sleeve on, you can remove the end tip that covers the lightning adapter plug. The tip stays inside the end-cap of the sleeve while you plug the pencil into your iPad or the charging adapter.

The carrying case has elastic pockets on the opposite side that is great to hold the charging cord. The cut-outs that hold the pencil are precise and even has a cut-out to hold the extra pencil tip and the cable adapter.

I appreciate the seller reaching out and getting me a replacement for the damaged sleeve. The were very helpful and communicated with me quickly.

Order as expected. Wanted a hard case to protect my Apple Pencil, got just what I thought I was ordering. I paid a 1 more to get the bonus Apple Pencil protector and cap holder. A bit of a struggle to get on, tempted to use cap holder but didn’t for fear of breakage. I just kept working at sliding it on but the secret is that push and slide from the wider end and it went right on. Total awesome case because after I bought the case and then a charger, I did not realize there was a charging adapter that cane with the pencil itself. Found it the next day after ordering the charging cord. Lol. That adapter and added tip that comes with the pencil fits right in the case to in a snug cutout in the foam area. The other side has two added storage compartments for an added bonus like the charging cord and ear buds.

I bought this case to protect and add some grip to my Apple Pencil along with keep everything together. It does a very good job at doing all of it. The only thing I’d say is a “con” is one corner of the zipper seems to be tighter than the rest, so at that corner it’s not as smooth zipping it up. But the overall value of the product is very good in my opinion.

How many times are you worried you're going to lose your apple pencil or scratch it or make it look like you generally don't care about it? This case mitigates those feelings. The zipper is sturdy and there is a place for all your pieces. There's even a protector for the pen itself. It makes it a little thick but I like this about it. For reference, I like fat pens. There's even netting for your other pieces like charger, headphones, etc. It's so nice and I love the neutral black.

Great case to protect your Apple Pencil. The sleeve is a perfect fit. My wife and I found the rubber cap works with our iPads also. Which really made them quiet. I know that was not it’s intended purpose. That is how I found this set. The case is decently made. It keeps pencil safe in backpack or just in and out of work.

Just what I needed. Perfect in size and the extra little pen/pencil/highlighter storage space is excellent

I purchased this on a lark, my current case for my Ipad Pro has a pencil slot, so I rarely use this, but tried it out and it is nice.

I really like the case. As it is a good way to store my extra's in it. I keep my charging cable and adapter in it. The sleeve is OK. Nice grip. But since i use it a lot it a lot, it does slide up. But not hard to reposition it. I like it and recommend it.

I got this for my husband and dad. My husband got the case, and my dad got the silicone sleeve since he loves black! Me and my hubby both rock glow in the dark apple pen silicone sleeves.

Arrived super fast. It feels sturdy but a little cheap as far as the container goes. But the sheathe adds the thickness and texture that I was needing to steady my sketching. :)

Brash Networks BN-PE905G 5-Port High Power 96W 802.3at Power Over Ethernet POE Gigabit 100/1000 Switch

BN-PE905G is a good little baby switch so far. I bought it to use with my Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC Pro and it has worked perfectly so far. It is really small physically compared to other 5 port switches I have had in the past. The metal casing is sleek looking and it comes with mounting brackets so that is a nice bonus. Its fairly low cost compared to other 5 port gigabit POE switches but it feels really high quality. It also has a higher amount of max power than I have seen in other switches this size.
I only have two very small complaints. The first one is that the power cable is on the side. Again super small but not ideal for my situation. The second is that certain parts of the website are broken. Again super small complaints and not worth docking any stars for.

I am using this to feed network and power to two POE IP cameras and an access point. The form factor is small and sleek and seems very solid (all metal). Supporting POE IEEE 802.3af/at, it supplies up to 30 Watts per port (96W max), which is great if you need to run multiple POE devices and don't want any shortchanged! So far, I'm very impressed. My only wish (which mirrors another reviewer) is that the power cord attached in the back instead of the side.

I purchased this high power POE switch for an industrial project where I am powering 4 of Flir AX8 IR cameras.

This switch works so good that we purchase it again for a duplicate project. It is a solid switch and is on the factory floor around industrial EMI noise without any issue.

Not much to say - the price is amazing for the features it gives you. Very high overall power budget, extremely compact, quiet, and seamless to install (gotta love that "just works" experience).

Wasn't sure what I was going to get from a relatively-unknown brand with no reviews I could find outside amazon for the switch, but so far the experience is great :)

I haven't had this for too long, so my experience might change in the future, and I will update this review then. For now, though, this is an excellent product, which does exactly what I need.

Reasonably priced with a higher power budget than similar units. Worked great right out of the box, as it should have.

I got the Brash Networks 5-Port POE switch for a security camera application.
My security cameras are POE enabled and I have four of them, making this an ideally sized solution for my needs.

You get a 96W power budget which is enough for powering 4 cams. The switch has gigabit throughput on each port.

The switch is small and unobtrusive. It works well for my application and was exactly what I needed. The housing is metal and sturdy and lacks that "hiss" that some switches have when Tx/Rx data. I was unfamiliar with Brash Networks prior to receiving this item but so far I am impressed with their offering. This is a no-config unmanaged setup which is literally plug and play.

Overall - perfect for a security cam install where you have four cams. I would recommend it.

The most basic switches out there are under $10. The highest end, business class switches are in the thousands (heck, some are probably in the tens of thousands). This switch is an excellent balance of all the best features most users will want without adding things that will add significantly to the price.

What you don't get (Limitations):
* The biggest limitation is ports. Considering the fact that one of the 5 ports is an uplink, you really only get to add 4 devices to your network with this. While that would be horribly limiting for a business class switch, it is plenty for many scenarios out there, including my own--I have a cluster of PoE security cameras that are far from the main switch and I needed a relay in the middle.
* Unmanaged. If you don't know what this means, you don't want it, anyway--it just takes a plug-n-play setup and adds features you have to configure to use(VLAN trunks, QoS and data shaping, etc.). Note that with such few ports, I don't see a lot of benefit in it, anyway.
* Redundant power supplies

What you do get:
* Many PoE switches, particularly ones that are low cost such as this is, don't budget enough power so while they say they have x number of ports and that they support 802.3af (which is supposed to deliver up to about 15 watts per port) or even 802.3at (which is rated at about 25 watts), unless you are using very low-draw devices, you can't use more than 1/2 or even 1/3 of the ports because there just isn't enough juice to go around. This switch provides an average of 24 watts per port which means in theory, it can run all 4 ports at almost the maximum power draw. Unfortunately, I don't have 4 devices that pull the maximum 24-25 watts each, so I can't test this out and say for sure that it works, but since most devices come in under that number, 99% of users should have everything their hearts desire as far as power goes.
* Gigabit speeds. While gigabit is the default in the non PoE world, for some reason, it's a feature you often pay a small premium for on powered switches. It's worth it. This has it.
* Passive/Silent cooling - while many business class switches have a built in fan (which can be quite loud), the metal casing and external power supply combine to allow the device to run cool enough to not need it. For businesses, I suspect this is a non issue. For me, it's a big deal.
* Small form factor: I'm not putting this in a rack, so I don't want it to have a huge footprint. This is small and discreet.

BOTTOM LINE:
As an easy to use, low cost switch with some high-end features, this can be a great choice for home and SOHO users.

Super compact little switch. Most PoE switches that are 8-port only power 4 of them anyways, this is technically 5 ports, but with one uplink, and then 4 PoE based ports. This also does both at/af (15, 25 watts respectively). A lot of newer access points and devices are moving to AT standard, so this is nice to have the power available. You get a total of 96 watts available to all 4 ports, so potentially if all 4 are pulling the max (highly unlikely especially at the same time) you could get in trouble, but you should be able to handle almost anything, which is great.

Well it was easy to install. Can’t speak to durability yet. As for ease of use, I have a problem. The problem is conversion of data into useful information. The hootoo can transfer a video file of up to 4 GB no problem. But no more (unless you want to reformat the hootoo- but then it might not work on a tv, although it will work on a computer). So filming at 60 frames per second in 1080 HD on an iPhone 7+, a minute of video is 90 MB. Ah, the math gives me a headache. I think 4GB is 44 minutes of video. I am a working musician. A job is called a gig. Maybe when I Told them I had a gig I gave them a headache too. It is an interesting world I live in. Anyway, I am still emailing support. Soon, we will be on a first name basis and I will have to bake cookies for them. Support is very nice, though. Back to my situation though, 28 minutes of video transferred very nicely. 59 minutes failed to transfer, as did 1 hour and 59 minutes. I just wanted to know how many minutes of video would transfer seamlessly. I would have read the directions, but there weren’t any. Just plug and install the app and do it. Transferring pictures is easy.

This device is very handy for backing up an iPhone and transferring the files to your PC as one end has a lightning port and the other end has a USB port. The iPlugMate app makes backing up the iPhone it simple. You just insert the device and select what you want to backup. It will backup photos, music, video, contacts. You can back up everything on the phone at once, or individually select what you want to backup. The iPlugMate app stores the files organized in folders or you can go directly to the files by categorized icons. Once your files are stored on this flash drive from your iPhone, you can insert this flash drive's USB end into your PC, and it will transfer the files at fast 3.0 USB speed to your PC if your PC's USB port is 3.0 rated. This device also can save the cost of paying a monthly fee for iCloud. The one that I got, which is the largest one TaoTronics makes for an iphone has 128gb of storage which is more than adequate storage for me. SunValley also stands behind their products 100 percent.

This is my second time buying HooToo 128G iphone flash drive. The first time I bought it for my moms ipad. I have to say this flash drive helps extend your devices storage capacity. It works flawlessly with the app and I had no issues with saving or finding my photos on it. All it takes is a simple plug in to your phone and you ready to save,delete or move documents around.

I wanted to start with familiar territory and plugged the flash drive into my laptop via USB. The user guide / instruction manual is pre-loaded at the top directory.
I reviewed the user guide and it is very straightforward and helpful.

I created a new folder on the flash drive and loaded a sampling of files that I wanted to try out on my ipad:
An MS word document, an MS excel spreadsheet, an adobe PDF, a text file, several songs in several formats, and several pictures and videos in several formats.

.wma, .mp3, .png, .jpg, .wmv, .mov

I removed from laptop and plugged into my ipad via lightning connector. The first time you plug in - a message asks to download the iPlugmate app from the app store.
Once downloaded, I ran the app.

At the bottom is the iPlugmate (external storage) and the ipad (internal storage)

I selected the iPlugmate. It brings up the folders and files on the thumb drive. Select the file option icon at top
left corner - can set file viewing to be a list or by icon.

This device worked instantly and exactly as advertised. I cannot understand the negative reviews, possibly "operator error"? In any event, I would highly recommend this drive. The only very, very, minor problem is that, even with the extended tip, the device would not plug in to my phone with the case attached. My primary use is with ipads and occasionally with my iphone. I have no problem puling the cover back at the bottom to insert the device. Please don't listen to these "nay-sayers", I'm no whiz at computer equipment and am an older user (71) and I can even easily use this.

This is the second HooToo external drive i have purchased. Upon receiving this new 128 GB Drive i noticed that this does not allow me to use it with my iPhone case, This one does not come with the Extended connector. Please see comparison pictures of both 64gb (left) 128gb (right).

HooToo reached out to me, explained to me the reasons for the difference in the connector. I would give them a 10 stars if i could in customer care. my original review was a bit on the negative side but that was only because i wanted external storage for my son's videos to be used on long trips. I was a bit concerned that i would have to remove the iPhone case and give an unprotected phone to a toddler. Putting my phone case issues aside. This is the best thing EVER !!! I cannot believe i ever lived with out it. last week, i had to transfer pictures from my old phone to my new phone, doing this thru Icloud was going to take about 24hrs or more. i downloaded the iplugmate app on both phones, plugged in my HooToo flash drive, made a back up of my pictures from the old phone and then simply plugged in to the new phone and transferred all my pictures, with in 5 minutes i was done.

Easy to use. App install and all. Not too heavy, not too lite. Amazed at quality

Amazing, great for expanding memory for iPad. Requires a one time "iplugmate" Hoo Too software app, then it becomes plug in play. Once you install the app it seamlessly organizes items by photo,videos (this is where my movies,tv shows,home videos are stored) ,music,backup, file/folder, camera. I love being able carry more photos,movies while I travel and documents of reservations, emergency contacts, address book etc. Has a cover for lightening end, and could hang from a keychain. If I carried secure data, I would likely not put on my keychain for fear ring breaking or losing keys. Considering buying another or for gifts. This brand is Apple certified and works flawlessly.

When I travel, I hate to bring along my notebook if I don't have to. I usually try to work form my phone or tablet. What makes this HooToo iPhone Flash Drive USB 3.0 Key so awesome is I can easily load content onto the drive from my phone for use on the computer, and vice versa. Makes printing documents in the business center a breeze and storing more than my phone or pad can with it's limit fixed space.

The cap can easily cover the Lightning end when not and use, keeping it protected. This is an AWESOME idea - solved a long time problem I've had with having an iPhone.

I just want to pull my photos off the device quickly and drag and drop them to my computer. Don't want them imported into iPhoto or anywhere else.

This is great to simply back up stuff and move it over.

Works with multiple iPhones - backs up to different locations on device.

Backs up just the delta.

One odd thing: It may not get all the files if you are low on space on the device - this seems odd, but as a developer, it makes sense. They need to copy off the photo / video, and to do that you tell the OS to make a copy for you in your space - which you can then open and export to the device. But if the file is 1.5GB, you need 1.5GB free to make the copy, before moving that copy to the device.

Great thing is, you move off some of your files, get enough space and then move the big file you couldn't get before.

I have two phones backed up with this device, and now instead of having 0-1GB (on a really good day) free on my phone, I have 19GB free! (64GB model)

And you can also shoot video/photos directly on to the device!

It has an option to remove everything once it has backed up, but I wish it would give me a screen that listed what it backed up and let you decide what to remove. I never want to wipe out all my photos on my iPhone, and I've never tried a backup of just one photo with the option to delete turned on. Afraid to try it.

Also, it pops up a message after back up that says: "WARNING" backed up 10 files successfully, and 0 files failed.

Why is that a warning? It made sense the first time when it said it didn't backup some of the files.

Oh, this also handles backing up some files and then stopping it and recharging the phone, and then starting over (from where it left off) and completing the backup.

I love this. I wasn't sure if it would work with an LG TV but it turns out that it will work with any smart TV with a USB port in the back.

This is a lot easier when using Netflix and trying to search for a show.

I read reviews before I bought it and was concerned about people saying that characters were duplicated. Sure enough, it happened once when I held the keys down too long.

With a shorter touch, I had no problem with repeating characters.

Passwords and text inputs were easy.

The touch pad is pretty cool. Seems to work with almost everything on my TV including home screen nav between Netflix, Amazon Prime Movies, Hulu, etc.

Touch screen can be set to glow in a range of colors while in use times out after a certain amount of time.

I have no idea how long a charge lasts but I'm on three days of use with a full charge.

Very cool.

I bought this and used this the other day. Now I bought this to use for my Amazon FireStick, Fire TV, and Fire HD 10 Tablet. In order to use this keyboard with these devices you MUST buy a micro USB HUB adapter with power plug (3-Port Charging OTG Host Cable Cord). The USB Receiver from this keyboard goes into one of the USB cables and it INSTANTLY synced and worked just fine. I say it was compatible with about 90% of the functions that the Amazon remotes would do. I'm still figuring more out so I'm sure I will find the other 10% functions that I'm missing. Now my tablet feels and operates as if it was a mini computer once I put everything on it. I

I've owned several of this type of device over the last few years and this is one of the better ones overall.
That said it is not perfect.

I'm not fond of the right & left mouse buttons being semi-squishy face buttons.
They should have been solid plastic shoulder buttons like every other model.
Shoulder buttons are just easier to press and to press in combination with other buttons.
With the mouse buttons being face buttons I find that various key combinations that with other units are very easy to accomplish are in fact much more challenging with this unit.

I also don't like the firmness of all of the face buttons in general.
They are semi-squishy but still too stiff to the point that typing is less pleasant and more of a chore than necessary.
I've had cheaper units with buttons that were softer, felt better, and allowed for more comfortable typing.
I am also disappointed at the lack of key rollover.
I consistently find that when typing words with 2 of the same letter in a row that the second letter almost always gets missed.
Words like "look" end up as "lok" unless I am paying a lot of attention and deliberately slowing my typing speed for that word.
This keyboard desperately needs something like n-key rollover to solve this issue.
The lack of a print screen button or function combination is also disappointing.

The battery life of this unit is also shorter than I would like.
It's not drastically shorter than other similar models but I have had some units that lasted longer before needing a recharge.
That said the battery life of all the various units I've tested is less than I would like so take this more as a statement that the battery life could be better rather than it is terrible.

My final major complaint is the battery indicator.
I've found that this unit does not do a very good job of letting me know when the battery is low.
I've had multiple occasions where I'm using the keyboard and all of a sudden it just goes dead.
If there is any kind of a low battery warning it is very unnoticeable.
I've had other units that make it very clear and obvious with blinking lights and even start using a clear power save mode where the unit works but shuts off quickly after there has been no activity for 2-3 seconds.
This preserves the battery and gives a relatively long period of time where I can still use the unit but am very aware that it is in need of a recharge.

Now, the things I did like.
The scroll wheel is by far the best part of this unit.
Every other maker of small wireless keyboards should be including this feature, it makes a huge difference over having to use the trackpad to scroll.
The scroll wheel could be slightly more precise as I have run into a few circumstances where when viewing a video I tried to move forward or backward in the video with the scroll wheel and the video jumped farther than intended.
This is something that does not happen with a standard mouse scroll wheel, so if the scroll wheel's digital interpretation of the wheel being turned could be tightened up a bit that would make this feature pretty much perfect.
I also like the overall shape of the device, it's curved in all the right places to feel comfortable when held.
The build quality of the shell is also nice compared to some of the other unit's I've used.
The only thing that might be an improvement here is, I've had some units that had a sort of velvety feel to the shell and that would be a nice addition to this unit.
That said it's a minor thing and not the most critical part that needs improvement.
The shell feel is entirely reasonable and not off putting.

I also like the multiple lighting options, especially the tri color mode.
However, the dark blue mode could be improved a bit.
I find that with this lighting mode, about every other key is slightly dimmer than the others, to the point that the dimmer keys are harder to read.
I really like that color but the key lighting for dark blue mode needs to be evened out & maybe brightened slightly so it is more usable.
It would also be great to have the option of picking the colors and color positions for tri color mode rather than just having one pre-selected option.
I don't know how doable that is but it would be a nice upgrade.

All in all, until something better comes along, I do recommend this unit over most others.
The scroll wheel alone is worth it.
I would only warn someone away if they can't tolerate the face mouse buttons as that is a notable difference from other units and is a definite downside, though not a crippling one.

Absolutely amazing. Using on Xbox one X. Considered buying a keyboard with built in mouse pad but stubbled across this before ordering...plugged in and immediately syncs and started working. There are about eight different backlight colors. Pushing the win button opens the Xbox menu which is very very handy. The arrows and okay key move the cursor around the menus... When I'm using YouTube Microsoft edge or Kodi... I can put down the Xbox controller and use this instead... Which is exactly what I was looking for. The keys have a satisfying click and work perfectly. I can't speak on the battery life just yet but some reading Ally reviews seems to be about 3 to 5 days. what should not be an issue I can just plug it into the USB ports on my Xbox when not being used. The controller is light & fit in hands perfectly. My only issue is that the mouse pad doesn't seem to be compatible. It does not work in Microsoft edge. If it did it would be five stars Does not work in edgeLooking for Xbox one keyboard? ..here's the winner in my eyes.

Seemed solid and nice for a few minutes untill I noticed that the scroll wheel was broken. Delivered and returned on the same day. Otherwise the backlight looked sweet. It connected and worked just fine except for the scroll wheel. To bad.

Wrote this review using the keyboard. Works much better than I thought it would given many of the reviews on here. Paired up with my PC quickly, touchpad is reasonably sensitive and accurate, and back-lighting works well and is easily changed using the Fn + Win keys to cycle through. Scroll wheel has worked fine, and can almost touch type thanks to the spacing. Wish the back surface had a little more grip, and wish they had a version of this that was larger for my meatier writing. But overall a great value.

first off, i would have given stars, if the FN key functions were also backlit. as it stands, and secondary features that any buttons on this keypad may present, are gone when using it in the dark.

secondly, it claims to be an RGB, but the only rainbow option goes from purple, to teal, to lime green. id at least like to be able to change the individual colors of the LEDS, without being stuck with a full solid color. also i dont see yellow, or orange. think of a rainbow. what are, and what order are all of the colors in?

I use this for my laptop that I converted into a media station. This remote has a nice weight to it, and feels good in your hands. The new rgb lighting is cool and the controls are good, though I have trouble using some of the buttons. The trackpad is a definite improvement, moving the mouse feels responsive and not as loosly tracked as older models. If you have a mini i8 already its still worth the upgrade, though depending on your use case you may not need too.

wish I knew that the keyboard would be so small was under the assumption it was full size, but after using it I dont mind it because I dont type a lot; just to type web addresses and short emails. For what I use it is perfect, plus it lights up in the dark, dont like the battery saver auto shut off though cause when you hit a key to re-light it, it types the character into to the web page, then you have delete it; mild irritant at best.
Dont like that the shift key is only on the left side.

So happy got this kit, I am very impressed with how good of a picture these tiny little lenses can take! The telephoto and the micro are my favorite. The 8x zoom telephoto len can help me clearly focuse on the distant objects and scenes, and the micro can adjust easily, they are simple to control, although there is a bit of blurring in the outside corners of some photos, but not all, so I am guessing this is a trick I still need to work on.

ADATA SU630 480GB 3D-NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD (ASU630SS-480GQ-R)

For the low price I paid for this drive the speeds are great for basic laptop or desktop use, obviously much better then using a traditional hard drive. Even the smallest size of this drive is very fast. The endurance is lower then other drives you can buy but shouldn't be a problem for normal laptop or desktop use just to browse the web / edit documents and other basic tasks for a couple years till you are going to replace the computer in question anyways.

This is one of the first QLC drives on the market. QLC stores 4 bits per cell versus previous TLC (3 bits per cell) , and MLC (2 bits per cell). Because of the difficulty from storing more bits per cell the amount of times it can reuse / rewrite over each area is decreased vs TLC / MLC, but modern solid state drives do a good job of leveling the wear across the whole drive so this shouldn't be an issue for normal use inside a laptop or a desktop for a couple of years, but this drive should not be used in a server nor in any situation where the whole drive gets frequently erased or rewritten.

There is a good short news article on anandtech about this specific drive that mentioned that it uses NAND from Intel which should be very high quality because Intel is already using their QLC NAND in drives it is selling to large enterprise customers. The drive uses a Maxio controller with pseudo-SLC caching which seemed to work well as the drive met its quoted write specs.

I purchased the 240gb drive which is the smallest size because i am only using this in a work laptop. Even though the 240gb version is the smallest size it is still very fast and as fast as the larger sizes. The drive did not warm up at all when running crystal diskmark for a few minutes. As you can see from the attached picture of the cystal diskmark results it read at 560MB/s and wrote at 478MB/s which is slightly faster read then in the specs, and almost as fast as sata3-600MB/s allows. I ran crystal diskmark an hour after installing windows 10, so the drive may have had time to fully refresh the cache.

I have an older tower PC circa 2008 that I decided recently to take on as a project to see if I could revive. After performing a clean OS install, as well as finding workable PCI & PCI-E sound, video, usb, and ethernet cards & drivers to install, I was well on my way. The last step I could think of to further enhance performance was to replace the old 320 GB HDD with a new SSD. I was quite pleased to see that I could get the 480 GB one was on sale for less than $50 on lightning deal. In spite of some initial difficulty cloning the HDD, as it took me 3 tries, I am now rocking and rolling having spent less than $100 on all PC components. Hoping the motherboard holds out for a few years longer, as I now have a pretty snappy 32 bit windows 10 home PC with 3 GB ram running as a Plex server, Office 360, working Skype with webcam, & blu ray drive. Still find my $119 Samsung model 3 Chromebook more useful and practical, but it's nice to have my media server up and running well again.

Replaced mechanical 7200 rpm drive with this SSD. Used Macrium Reflect to clone HDD image to SSD, and it all worked like a charm. Make sure you set drive letter to the same letter as the drive being replaced so all your shortcuts still work.

I'm using the 960GB as my gaming SSD on a MSI GT63 gaming laptop. I also purchased the 480GB to replace Plex server system drive. Can't go wrong upgrading to SSD at these prices.

Pros: reasonably inexpensive and a good value.

Cons: Not as fast as others

I purchased this drive to replace an ailing mechanical hard drive on a older system. It is easy to install but it came with no screws or mounting hardware. You really cannot expect that for what you are paying. The install went rather smoothly and all the software loaded up fine. I was expecting a much faster response from an SSD but as this is an economy drive you realistically can’t expect that for the price. This is a drive only packaging and it is no frills. As I said earlier I expected it to be a little faster than it was but it is still much faster than a mechanical hard drive.

I have three of these ADATA SSDs of the same size that I use to rotate clone backups of my C:\ System drive. Every month or two I will create a new clone using Macrium Reflect, install the fresh clone in the laptop, then label the old one and store it for the next time. This strategy always leave me with 2 good backup drives in the unfortunate event that anything ever happens (i.e. malware, viruses, ransomeware) to corrupt my Windows system drive. So far I have not had any problems with these ADATA drives, and you can't beat the price!

I bought this to revive an old HP Laptop with a Core 2 Duo and 4GB RAM. Yes, this laptop is about 10 years old.

The original hard drive was dead, so I picked this up as a quick replacement. To my surprise, this drive has exceeded expectations over the last few weeks. It also allows us to run Windows 10 home on this laptop with no issues.

Honestly, the value proposition for this drive is immense. You aren't going to get the fastest read/write speeds, but for the price, it does the job where needed.

Not much to say... Really woke up my fading laptop.

I got 3 of these and put them in RAID0 to give me 1.30TB of useable space. In RAID0 I'm getting around 1GB read and write speeds. It's like a ghetto nvme drive! Goodbye mechanical drives, it was a long, slow ride.

The prices change on these things all the time, this was a price leader when I bought it. No complaints whatsoever. This thing is FAST, no reliability issues, I'd buy another.

This SSD is great for upgrading from an HDD(mechanical hard drive). I use this drive to host my Virtual machines or VM, I run about three different operating systems including the host OS which is windows 10, and the drive works great.
