Took up less space than I thought it would! I opened the box and saw it was make of durable steel for the wall anchors and read through the instruction which were easy to follow. I left the overall ladder in the box for easy storage - doesn't take up too much space either! Glad to have the peace of mind.
Feeling safer already! Must conduct a fire drill to be totally sure!
This is a very nicely packaged fire escape ladder. It comes in a flimsy zip case in a box. Not a great case, but will look nicer than most when not being used. We will need to return this item however because it is too heavy for my children to lift and secure in their window. Seems like a high quality product.
Great compact kit. I feel much safer for my kids upstairs, knowing that they have another way out of the house in case the stairs are blocked.
So I haven't had to use this yet but it does look good and durable. I did hook it up and made sure it was secure but did not go down it. Gives me a piece of mind knowing that I have an escape route if anything were to happen!
