I bought two full size tubes because I love this product so much. Light pink is pretty much a natural translucent pink. You'll be able to see your natural nail underneath depending on how thick it is, still very pretty. Dark pink is more of a neon/"hot' pink. I love both of them.
This is the method I use to keep nails on for at least two weeks.
Wash your hands to remove any oil. Cut away any hangnails and remove cuticle growth for a clean, professional look.
Gently buff away the shine on your natural nail. Use a bond/dehydrator. I used two coats of a non acid primer and then the makartt base coat. Don't forget to cure the base coat! I use a 9W LED/UV lamp, works fine.
I like using nail forms over dual forms. In my experience, dual forms are harder to work with because you have to make sure the dual form fits PERFECTLY on your nail bed.
With nail forms, you get to control where the product goes.
Try not to use a lot of isopropyl alcohol. It can mess with your base which can lead to lifting. I use 91%. I cure the nails for a minute and a half on top, and 30 seconds underneath.
There is a sticky layer so be sure to use the alcohol to wipe off the residue.
Filing is super easy, just use a coarse file.
The pictures I've provided were done with dual forms.
Removal is simple. File off as much product as you can and soak in acetone or use the foil method.
Hope this helps!
I use this product on a client who has a hard time of keeping acrylic on her nails. I decided to try it out and it last five weeks she has gone without breaking one now this is one of the best products I have purchased for use
Adore this product! I used the color natural pink and the color was beautiful on its own. I’ve used the Makartt polygels before and they never lift and are very strong and easy to work with as long as they are applied properly. I ordered this as I ran out of my other tubes, and I’m not disappointed! Use with the Makartt base coat and a gel or acrylic primer to get the best wear. Would recommend to anyone learning to do nails at home!
I’ve been doing my own nails at home for a couple years now. I normally use builders gel. I decided to try polygel and it saved me a lot of time. I’ve done it twice and the trick for me when building nails (to lengthen them) is to put a *thick,* perfectly even layer with my little metal flattening tool on the dual forms.
PROS: With polygel I don’t have to do a whole lot of filing to shape up my nail afterwards compared to building gel.
CONS: You will get occasional air bubbles when applying a thick layer. However, if you don’t need to lengthen your nails, you’ll want to apply a thin layer and perfect it with a good brush dipped in rubbing alcohol.
You should follow the process and degrease your nails, then they won’t snap off and break.
Absolutely love this! While it is sheer, the color is so rich that it doesn't look so transparent.
We need more colors please!! Opaque colors!! Begin with a good cover pink! Thanks!!

Though sticky, this product is easy to use. It took me about 30 minutes to do a full long set. I love the natural pink color.
I began using the Gelish polygel first and decided to give this ine a try due to the great reviews. The color is great! It hasn’t lifted at all, very easy to use. Difference between this and the gelish one is that this one is ONLY SLIGHTLY softer and gooeyer. They are so similar that I’ll be using this again with no complaints. The dust is also minimal which I really like compared to filing acrylic. (I’ve been doing my nails for 8yrs)
I've used this 2x and I'm loving it so far. I'm still trying to figure out the amount to apply on the form tips... Some get too thick others just right. I will get there eventually. But i really like the final results, I'm not a fan of long long nails so I've done mostly short and just want to get a more even, fuller nail with good shape and even and this polygel does just that for me. It's a pain to remove, you need an efile there is no removal without it. One draw back is how hard it's to squeeze the product out when the bottle is less than half full... It gets hard to squeeze out when you are half way with long nails trying to finish your own.
I use ibd gels and build using forms. I saw a review of this on youtube and thought I'd give it a try. Wow it is a much faster way to build a new nail. I used 70% isopropyl alcohol for my slip solution and it was so easy and fast. I like the super clear of ibd and I like the versatility of the more runny gels but I can see this has an advantage. I think I should try the clear to see if it stacks up. When I get closer to finishing my ibd supply I think I'll try the clear. For now I just needed pink. I'll always use the ibd because I use it like polish and mix it with other tints and regular nail polish, but this is better for building a base. Super fast! I'm going to try it with pre-made forms when I use up all my form stickers.
This product is so much easier to use than acrylic. You do have to use a primer, slip, base and top coat for them to stay on. So far i have mine on for a week. They are pretty strong and haven’t broken or chipped. Hopefully it stays put until i need to refill. I’m not a professional, I simply learned watching videos. The lamp I used was a 48w and it works just fine. You do have to cure both sides top and under the nail for it to cure but that is with poly gels as for all the ones i have seen. I will update if there are changes.
