Bought these to go into my Christmas village houses. Tired of having the heat and expense of regular light bulbs. I don't think we have any regular light bulbs in our house. These are cool to touch, last, and cost very minimal to run. I don't mind turning them on and leaving them on. Anywhere you use a traditional night light, these will fit and work. Will not build up the heat on wooden surfaces if used in ceramic houses/decorations. I love them.
Used these to replace some burned-out incandescent bulbs. Wanted "warm", closer to a candle color, which is what the incandescent bulbs were. These are listed as 2.7k which should've been the right temp, but their output is closer to 4k (a slightly yellowed intense white).
I'll keep them, it's just not "warm" as described by their color band.
*UPDATE* I'm providing an update to this previous review. The company reached out and told me about an amber colored bulb they have which is more in line with what I'm looking for. They gave me a 99% off discount code to use to order the bulbs. Wow! Great customer service!
Well, I have to say that I do prefer the warm yellow glow of incandescent bulbs as compared to these which give off a cool white. It's all a matter of preference I guess. These do what they say they do. They are your typical LED bulb, they stay cool, emit a white glow, and last longer. I bought these because I was looking for bulbs to put in my nightlights that didn't get hot since I like to leave them on all the time. These do stay cool. But I really do prefer the warm amber glow of incandescent bulbs.
I got tired of replacing the C7 bulbs in my daughters nightlight every month. The light fixture was poorly designed causing heat to build up and the bulb just didn't last. Found these and figured I'd try it. Perfection! These generate lower heat and use less power, but still produce the same amount of light. I've had one running 24x7 for several months now without any issues. Success!
Pros:
1. Nice warm white color
2. Light is brighter than the standard 7 watt bulb at a tenth of the energy!
3. Works well with auto on/off night lights
Cons:
1. None yet
We have multiple auto on/off nightlights throughout the house that use 7 watt regular bulbs that seem to last only about every 4 months or so, which is in line with the 3000 hours listed on the packaging for the standard bulbs. I've grown tired of changing these bulbs so I decided to try these LED lights, which apparently has a lifespan of 25,000 hours. For me, that means instead of lasting 4 months, each bulb should theoretically last nearly 3 years.
So far, the bulb works great! The light is a bit brighter than the 7 watt incandescent light it replaced, and I'm quite happier about it since now I'm getting more light at 10% of the energy and doing a better job illuminating various dark hallways and corners of the house. The light is a nice warm white, although slightly whiter than the standard incandescent bulb. The bulb is also cooler (temperature wise) which is always a benefit.
I'm glad I made the switch, and whenever these bulbs burn out, I'd definitely buy more. Never going back to the incandescent bulbs.

Description
These are fine for a night lite, provided you do not care about ambience. I rated this 5 stars, because quality is ok, and satisfaction depends on what you want to use it for. I was hoping to use these as a replacement for clear, 5 watt, incandescent bulbs in a decorative window candle. But, these bulbs have the led at the very base of the bulb, with nothing to reflect the light out the sides, or diffuse the light in any way. So, most of the light goes straight through the top end of the bulb. Meaning they were not good for my particular application. Some others also have the led at the base, but in addition have a clear piece coming up from the led that reflects the light out more uniformly. Color is soft white as advertised, and quality seems fine.
I bought these bulbs for my string of vintage tiki lights. I was using vintage Christmas bulbs, but they burned out quickly and needed replacing often. I put these in a few weeks ago. Light is warm with no blue tint, and so far, no replacing needed!
I bought several packs of these night light bulbs to replace all the bulbs in my holiday window candles (which I leave up most of the winter - on timers). Color is good. Brightness matches the previous bulbs. Longetivity is good so far (no failures after a few months). Energy savings, though small, is nice. I didn't do a direct compare with the old incandescent bulbs - I bought enough to replace all of the dozen or so bulbs I had. Looking at the house from the street, you would never know I had changed to LED's, they look virtually identical to the old bulbs.
I bought these to go in my Dickens Christmas Village pieces hoping that they would work since Dept 56 seems not to have LEDs. I am happy to report that they do work and are only minimally larger than the original incandescent bulbs. I will be buying more.
The antique look of the filament is nice, I took that as presentation. Haven't had long enough to know if they will last, but I have in a night light that is never turned off. I am hoping will last years, not months. After buying these a led bulbs in the fitting under the microwave appears to have been gotten by a surge, reducing light by at least 1\2 the light, maybe even less, leaving me with reduced confidence. Here's hoping for long beige life.
