I am an elementary school teacher and the pencil sharpeners in my classroom get a workout that is beyond what I would classify as industrial use. The sharpeners in my classroom probably sharpen an average of 200 pencils a day. As such, I've become a purveyor of fine pencils and pencil sharpeners. It's been a challenge to find a pencil sharpener that can stand up to rigors of classroom use, but the JARLINK Electric Pencil Sharpener seems to be up for the challenge. So far, it has held up much better than several other brands of electric pencil sharpeners I've tried, and at a fraction of the cost. It's easy for students to use, and seems to be standing up to their punishment. I give it my highest rating.
This is a great pencil sharpener! We like the convenience of choice, battery or cord! And the auto-stop feature is excellent! We're completely satisfied.
This is an excellent electric pencil sharpener that saves time and is easy for my kids to use. My kids always need help with the small handheld ones and are always losing them. With this one, it just sits on our desk and the kids can easily use it themselves anytime. It evenly sharpens all the way around.
I use this for color and pastel pencils. Since both are expensive not losing so much during sharpening is important.
I hesitate to give this product a five star rating because I haven’t had it very long. However it is the perfect size and it sharpened pencils very well. In addition it allows me to sharpen my colored pencils so they last longer. It is also the perfect size for sitting On my coloring desk. I really like this item.

Great pencil sharpener. I like that it is smaller so that it can be portable if needed.
Sharpens and well. I haven't tried the power adapter yet, but it's very powerful when running on batteries so I can take my sharpener wherever my crossword puzzles go. Auto stop. Adjustable for more or less of a point. Truly a great pencil sharpener.
I was skeptical about buying a battery-powered sharpener, but I'm very satisfied with this one. The unit is a nice size and is powerful enough to make a good, sharp point. Great value.
Product is as described sharpened pencils quickly and auto stopped so tip did not break. Easy to remove plastic cartridge to empty shavings.
