We have three aging dogs: an 8 year old boxer and two 12 year old terrier mixes. We took the boxer to the vet because he was having a hard time getting up after laying down for an extended time and once he would go to walk, he would automatically hold one of his back legs up and limp. He was also yelping out in pain when he would run around and land/twist his legs in a certain way. Our vet told us it was something to do with the ligament/tendon being over stretched and that he would eventually need surgery to repair it. One of our terriers is totally healthy and runs and jumps around like a puppy. The other, not so much as he was diagnosed with Lyme disease a few years back. He has a very hard time getting up and down, can't even make it to the end of the block and back on a walk, and has gained a lot of weight from his lack of mobility.
When I tell you that these mobility bites have changed my dogs lives, I'm not exaggerating one bit. They all have gotten two bites a day, for exactly 14 days now. Our boxer is leaping around, jumping up and down off the couch, chases his favorite soccer ball around, and has reverted to standing on his back legs to give hugs again!!!! I haven't weighed him yet, but our terrier mix is looking thinner, his eyes are brighter, his ears are standing up a lot more, and best of all...HE TRIED TO JUMP ON THE COUCH BY HIMSELF! If you had seen this dog two weeks ago, you wouldn't believe it.
I came on here to place another order before running out and thought I would leave a review. I have never written a post this lengthy, but I hope someone who has fur babies with mobility issues reads it and tries these bites out. Fourteen days is all it has taken to see a dramatic difference. I will be a customer for life!!!!
These bites actually work really well! To be honest, I am skeptical about trying new supplements, but these are the best “hip and joint” supplements I have found it. I’ve been giving two a day and within the first day of using it, my girl has had more pep in her step and is already up to greet me at the door when I come home from a day at work. She will usually still be sleeping. She was a stray, so I really have no clue how old she is, but I feel like she shouldn’t be slowing down just yet!
I love the ingredients and it’s very convenient to feed like a treat instead of finding all of the supplements separately.
My girl loves the the flavor and has no problem gobbling them up!
Our dog Mack is about 14 years old. We got him as a foster, the day after one of his back legs was amputated, 10 years ago. He was always an active dog and moved just as fast as a dog with four legs. These past couple of years he's really slowed down. I think his lone back leg has probably been overused to compensate. I noticed he doesn't move quickly, he slips sometimes and eats sitting down. A couple of weeks ago I started giving him these Mobility Bites and have noticed a difference. He seems livelier, and jumps around in a circle like he used to when it's mealtime or going for a car ride. I think it's possible he may not be feeling so creaky or painful since giving these treats. He happily takes two treats a day. I can't wait to see how well he does after a month.
UPDATE 11/27/18: Mack is doing awesome. He can still be a bit creaky initially when he gets up from a laying down position, but once he's warmed up can jump up and down like a pup when he gets excited and move quickly when he wants to, like when he hears someone at the door or runs outside to bark at whatever We used to put a brace on his one back leg when he seemed weak, but now he really doesn't appear to need it. Mack continues to get two treats a day, which he happily gobbles up. Whatever's in these treats is working.
Iko, my almost 11 year old German Shepherd, likes them. We're still on our first container. I've been giving three per day and he's doing fine, maybe a bit better than on cosequin alone. I've been looking for a supplement that included green lipped mussels since I participated in a research study with a similar product that was wonderful for my senior dog. It's a good product and I'd recommend it for any mature dog!

He’s 11 years old and has had hip arthritis for a couple of years and was starting to have trouble getting up and down off of our bed and doing stairs over the past year. My cavapoo who turns 8 next month has suffered from back pain for a couple of years. There is nothing worse than having your sweet dog screaming in pain. She has a back brace for when her back is out and was put on strong muscle relaxers by the vet. Her last episode came from just jumping off the couch and required my carrying her up and down our stairs and lifting her on and off the couch. I bought these bites and she now runs around and plays like a puppy. It is like a miracle! I am now going to order the immunization bites to take care of some skin issues. I'm not impressed with the product I am now using and hope to have the same fabulous results from this brand.
I purchased SENIOR ADVANCED HIP & JOINT MOBILITY BITES for my two fur babies who will be ten this year. I want to do everything I can to keep them feeling good! I know Zesty Paws products contain great ingredients to keep our companions healthy. We currently use 5 in 1 Vitamin Bites, Allergy Immune Bites (for one), and Omega Krill Bites. The boys get so excited when they see the jars in my hands. They think treats but I know goodness in a jar! I will continue to use Zesty Paws products.
I've been reading the benefits of curcumin for dogs so was delighted when the Senior Mobility Bites came out! My dogs have been on the Mobility Bites for a while now and are all doing great. The added curcumin seems to be giving them an extra boost. My Aussie has been working extra hard in all this snow and he has not come up sore. He's ready to go again and again! I love that the Bites are tasty so I can just feed it as a treat.
