Got this for our daughter as her all encompassing needs: "Trip to Paris/Madrid this summer, Senior year, then first years at college" kind of backpack. She LOVES it! So many compartments to put everything in its place, the battery ability is SUPER exciting to her (ordering that for her trip) and she claims it to be the most comfortable backpack she's ever had.
For a frame of reference (in case its helpful to anyone) prior to this, for her junior year, she had been using a trendy styled backpack and carrying her chromebook in a separate bag and just juggling a bunch of stuff in multiple bags every day... that backpack broke after less than a year. And prior to that she actually had a more durable expensive skater/surf brand backpack that lasted about 5 years but that one lacked the pockets and the usefulness she gets w/this upgraded one, so while those are great, that couldn't work for international travel/college.

This is a very nice quality xl backpack. I'm using it for the railroad to carry my equipment, my over night supplies, and my laptop for use while I'm at the hotel away from home. It seems to be heavy duty and so far after 1 trip away from home it has worked well for me. The laptop pocket is easily accessible without having to dig through the rest of the pack. Also there is enough room in the laptop pocket for a large gaming laptop and my work iPad. It also has large enough straps to put on my back comfortably which is a problem for me with lots of backpacks since I am a larger man (6'5" 240lbs.) Hopefully it will be durable enough for the rugged nature of my work and the amount of weight I carry.
I've been searching for a good computer/technology backpack for some time. This backpack has exceeded my expectations. First it's well built and love all the individual zippered exterior and interior compartments to help keep all my gadgets separated. My 17" computer has not problem fitting into this bad and there's room to carry all my gadgets plus clothes and snacks for the weekend hops around the world. The bag itself is lightweight and the shoulder straps are oversized and some of the most comfortable straps I've experienced on any backpack. All the straps and zippers are heavy duty and well handle me cramming the bag full. The padding on the back of the bag resting on my back is well placed and breathable which has prevented the electronics and camera gear from digging into me. Great bag which I highly recommend.
Huge backpack, yet not over-the-top large. The capacity of this backpack is amazing. My backpack typically carries two water bottles, 4 text books (one of them an Anatomy and Physiology textbook, another is the lab manual that accompanies the book), a Chromebook, and many other supplies necessary for college courses.
The backpack seems to be built well, and seems to handle the heavy load I frequently have.
Bought this for my husband to take the place of his briefcase. He LOVES it! Takes it to work everyday and on trips. Fits under the seat in airplanes. Several different pockets and storage areas. Comfortable to wear with nicely padded shoulder straps. Has retained its durability over this past year...better than any briefcase he has ever owned.

My son took this back pack for a study abroad experience in Europe. It held his 17” laptop, a change of clothes, toiletries, course materials, 2 game boys, snacks and a small blanket easily. It is very well made and well designed. One feature he particularly liked was the flat bottom that allows you to sit pack on the floor without it falling down from the weight of his laptop. He says it’s the best travel back pack he ever owned.
Fantastic sturdy very good quality and craftsmanship, I seem to find a new pocket or little storage place every day. Zippers strong and sturdy. This bag's storage is voluminous.
The built-in charger port is a nice novelty, buy a separate battery and threw it into the internal pouch, why not...treat yourself...
I purchased this backpack for my son. His previous backpack didn't have a place for his phone and other electronics. Since he's a tween i wanted to get him something that he could keep for awhile. He has had it for a week and He loves it! He likes the color and the handle is sturdy. It has plenty of space. It has not rained yet so i don't know for sure how well it is with regard to water resistance. It is very durable and I think it will last for many years.
Update: It rained today. All of his belongings are dry. ☺ so that's a yes for water resistance.
