I like this brand of collagen powder and this is my fifth or sixth repurchase. I have been taking it daily for over a year. Collagen pills did absolutely nothing for me, primarily because you don't take enough to make a real difference--that's my opinion based on personal experience. I started taking this product with a double dose for three months and now maintain with a regular dose. I originally bought it to help with my skin, but have experienced improved gut health and my hair is growing in healthier and softer, and oddly, a little bit darker. I thought maybe this was my imagination but my hairdresser noticed it, too. YMMV, but that is what happened for me. My skin looks great and I am hopeful that continued use will help me maintain a youthful complexion. I noticed a difference in my skin after a couple of weeks. I took before and after photos but I don't know what I've done with them. If I find them, I will post them here. I also notice that I don't need as much body lotion every day, which is nice because I tend toward drier skin. I still use lotion, but I don't notice the dryness and itchiness that I used to get, which was aggravated in winter. No real change to my nail health, but I didn't buy it for that. I also bought a package for my father who was getting ready to undergo a serious shoulder surgery. I wanted to make sure he had plenty of amino acids to aid in healing, plus his doc said the best thing for him was protein, so I had him take this twice a day for a couple of weeks before surgery and after surgery, and then continue with the regular dose indefinitely. He doesn't love the taste but takes it anyway. I tried another brand and noticed more of a beefy taste which I didn't love. Zint seems to dissolve better, so that makes it easier to get down. I use just enough warm water so that it dissolves and take it quickly like a shot. I also add it to protein shakes and green smoothies for a boost of protein. Overall, this is a win for me and I am glad I found it in such a large size.
Update 1/22/2019: I’m just sold on the benefits of collagen whether doctors agree or not. I’ve been taking this for two solid years now. My skin looks great and is soft and bounces back. Collagen definitely improved my hair. It didn’t cause it to be thicker, but it’s definitely healthier and also caused new growth to be darker and shinier. I think I mentioned that in my first review, but it was more noticeable after taking it for another year. Another surprise benefit is gum health. Who knew??? It makes sense though. My gums were delicate for a few years after some dental surgery and after taking this consistently, they’ve become healthier and stronger. I wasn’t expecting that at all so didn’t make the association at first.
Collagen is basically a shot of pure amino acids. Zint seems to dissolve better than Vital Proteins, which I also like, but VP is much more expensive and my body can’t tell a difference in the price!! There are others but they seem much more expensive for what you get. I’ve tried them, and this is still my go-to. I think you’re missing the youth boat if you don’t take collagen every day. It’s clearly helped my skin and hair, and I can tell when I skip a couple of days so I try to be consistent. There’s nothing immediately spectacular about this product but with continued use, I think you’ll be pleased. It’s one of those products where it’s easy to become neglectful of it and you don’t realize the true benefit until you stop taking it. I take it regularly, 6-7 times per week. I mix it in hot cocoa or water/tea, and I also put it in smoothies, juices, and soups. It adds an instant protein and amino acid boost and it makes a big difference in my digestive health and function. I personally feel it was a big factor in my dad’s year-long healing from shoulder surgery. The amino acids really helped him heal quicker than the other surgeries. He’s had a couple of surgeries and this was the first one where he took collagen before and after and his bones healed quickly and very well according to the doctor. The doc sort of poo-pooed me when I mentioned it initially but he did note that he healed well and was back to regular activity a little quicker than expected, so...doesn’t mean it was the collagen BUT it doesn’t mean it wasn’t, either, so take that for what it’s worth. The only real complaint I have is that I wish the price would remain consistent. It can vary by $6 or more depending on the day and that’s annoying. I haven’t found Zint brand locally, so Amazon is where I buy it.

I've been using collagen powder for about 10 months now and have tried a lot of different brands.First, I'm a vegetarian and I know it's weird that I consume collagen, but I know my body needs this and I don't see the same benefits in marine collagen. As a long time runner who is now creeping up on 50 I can say this has been a lifesaver for my knees and keeps me hitting the trails with my faithful 4 legged running buddy. It has also given me major benefits with regard to my hair and skin. You get a lot of servings for a great price and my skin is so much softer all the way around and my hair has incredible shine and growth (even my hair dresser comments on my hair). This is a very clean brand. It is literally tasteless in my coffee and tea, I drink it daily and most days get a second serving in the evening in my herbal tea. This product is also Kosher, which while I am not Jewish I do pay attention to the Kosher labeling of foods and you should too if you want clean animal products. So you are getting a grass fed beef product that is certified Non-GMO, GF, & Kosher...and it works. I have never had any stomach upset or side effects that other collagen products often cause. Definitely recommend!
This is the 3rd time I have ordered Zint brand collagen and I'm happy with the product. I used to use a more expensive brand, but this one serve my purposes. I chose the larger canister container this time for the price point. You won't be disappointed!
Okay so I'm currently re ordering for the 10th time and I decided since I've already told my mom and friends about this life changing product, I'll leave a review for others. I buy the marine collagen, blue box, and within 3 days I noticed I looked dramatically younger, skin supple and my hair looked super shiny. So now that this is my go to collagen supplement, I dont go without it! This was my last attempt to find a legit product for collagen benefits and I'm so happy I took the risk! I mix with recommended serving in my coffee every day and yall, the youth it brings back to my appearance, is worth every penny. I have yet to try the beef or other collagen powders they sell but the blue marine has been nothing less of a miracle. I also take biotin to help it work better! It's worth a try!!!
I am not the kind of person who usually gets into flavored waters of any kind. Just plain old is fine by me, and I hate all the added sugars most drinks contain.
But I got these peach flavored ones on the recommendation of a friend, and she was totally right. The collagen itself dissolves completely in water, and I don't even need to stir it again if it sits for a minute. The peach flavor is from real peach juice powder, and there's no added sugar, only a little stevia. Also, I'll say this about the stevia: I'm one of those people who can't use most stevia because it tastes very chemical-like to me, but whatever kind of stevia they used in these packets doesn't have that kind of weird taste at all. I think these would be amazing if you ever make fruit smoothies, or if you juice.
I also really like the other ingredients. The collagen itself is tilapia-based, and they've got glucosamine, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C in there too. Plus acai for the antioxidants. So I feel like it's not just my knees and joints I'm taking care of, but my skin too. I just turned 39, so anything I do to stave off the wrinkles, you know? And I do think that since I've started taking collagen daily, my skin has been more bouncy and moisturized, and my knees don't make as many random noises anymore.
This is the perfect way to drink my collagen in the morning. I just throw it in my water bottle with a couple ice cubes before I leave the house. It's refreshing, not too sweet, and doesn't have any weird graininess.

It really has helped on my arthritis, it took about a month, but the stiffness/soreness in my index finger is almost completely gone. It may not be the fountain of youth but yes, there is merit in this product & I’m continuing to use it in my coffee every morning.
I have taken other brands of Hydrolyzed COllagen for years and have always been concerned about the source. I have had medical issues in the past so I am totally organic and I will only eat meat that I know does not have any growth stimulants or added hormones. So, that was my biggest concern with the other brands.

Love this product. Great in every beverage. But I feel it's best in a hot drink. I take it every morning with my morning tea. Why we also put it in are pet water. We've seen a huge Improvement in their coats and they don't scratch anymore.
Overall, this is a great product, but I am one of the few people who find the smell and taste very unappealing. To me, it's quite strong, and I don't drink coffee, so I couldn't try masking it with that. Instead, what works for me is stirring it into my oatmeal as I'm cooking it on the stove. I then add fruit, nuts, cinnamon, ginger, and ground flaxseed to my oatmeal, and with all of that, the taste/smell of the collagen is mostly hidden. As for the health benefits of the collagen, what I notice the most for me are improved muscle tone and lower blood pressure. I'm very pleased with those things, so I will continue to use this product.
I am surprised at some of the reviews. I find this product dissolves completely and easily, there is no taste or smell. You really cannot tell it's in your drink. I usually put it in my second cup of coffee and there is never any residual left in the cup. If you are putting it into a really cold drink, you might have to stir it a bit but I would try to put it in the drink and then add ice. My nails have gotten much stronger and I find that some of the aches and pains I used to have in my shoulder are gone. I would highly recommend this.
