The padding and build quality is good. I like the extra pocket inside since I have to have a privacy screen for school (I bought the magnetic one), the pocket serves as a great home for it! My biggest complaint is that mine had black stains/marks on it. They're not huge and not super noticeable, but since I'm paying $20 for a new item, it did bother me.
