At $20 USD the pricing puts it directly into a comparison with the Roleadro 45w panel which is currently priced (higher) at $23.66 on Amazon
TLDR: Does it beat the Roleadro panel? No. But it is slightly cheaper, and doesn’t have a ballast on the cord (this may be a benefit to some people).
It comes with a 5 foot power cord, no ballast, and no power switch, (just plug it in and go). It also comes with hanging wires and clips.
Each led panel contains 12 IR leds (placed in formation down the center of the panel)
Using an Apogee Full spectrum smart Quantum sensor, the SQ-520, the light performs decently for a 45w panel.
It pulls:
265 micro moles at 4 inches
175 micro moles at 8 inches
105 micro moles at 12 inches
50 micro moles at 18 inches
30 micro moles at 24 inches and a paltry 17 micro moles at 3 feet. Meaning at 3 feet it wouldn’t even be decent for supplemental lighting.
This panel is ideal for seeding and micro greens. Sure it has the IR leds which does lead to higher oil production, however you’re not going to bloom any fruits or vegetables and definitely not marijuana. It could be added as supplemental side panels during bloom but better options exist, albeit at a cost.
As for power draw this light panel is highly efficient and pulls an actual 17watts at the plug . In my parts of the world this would cost me roughly $1.40 in electricity. Not a bad investment if I’m growing some micro greens under it.
I actuslly got this for Marijuana seedlings but have a hanging basket with a potato vine I paid 45 bucks for and thought to myself I'd really like it to live thru the winter.. So we brought it in and stuck it under this small 45w 12"x12" led grow light... It's reacted amazing to the light.. New flowers even! For the price is an EXTREMELY good grow light. Highly recommend it for anything like this or seedlings
I thought this light would be junk with how cheap it was, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it is well-made and pretty solid.
I haven’t been using it long but doesn’t look like much can go wrong with it just hanging on the wall. I’m using it as side lighting with a more powerful overhead LED. So far so good, Look for my update in the future.
The lights do not feel sturdy but so far do all the lighting needs required for the plants. They do not generate to much heat which is good in small areas.
Nice small panel, about 25 cm / 9" square. It has many IR LEDs more than the usual. It is lightweight.
It does not have a powerbrick on the wire, and that is good.
It draws actually 17/18 W from the wall measured with my Watt meter.
I also have 45 W Kingbo and Growstar panels that are larger, thinner and hotter, but they draw 40 Watts and are definitely brighter but cost about 50 percent more and larger in size. I have some tomato seedlings that were getting burned by the Growstar and the Juhefa seems more appropriate for young plants.
This one is easier to position in small spaces or shelves and produces less heat.
It seems decently made and the price is good. Probably great for African violets, to supplement herbs on a windowsill, start plants or small tropicals.
I wanted to give 5 stars, but I removed one because the seller does not state the actual power in the description. Probably this should be sold as a 30 W equivalent of kingbo and growstar are sold as 45 (while round newer panels from the same brands are sold as 50 W but draw 30 W and are less powerful than the 45 W). Confusing. Anyway this is a decent panel for starting seedlings or low light plants.

Researched a lot before I bought this, I did not want too much Light or addition to the Electric Bill$ was my consideration buying this. This is Just Right overall and it was delivered in under 36 hours for free !! Real LEDs.
At first... I was really hoping to be super impressed with this light, but I was not. There are holes so to mount the light, so I mounted it to a board with a couple screws. Perhaps it overheated and some of the lights burned out (no not referring to the UV/IR lights that are expected to be invisible to the naked eye). There are no instructions saying proper use to avoid breakdown or anything. Just a picture of the light being strung up by a wire string deal. Before the lights burned out, it was a pretty nice light that put out a nice deal of light.
The seller made it right and let me keep the light, and sent another
The light that was broken, suddenly flickered on and now I have 2 working lights that my plants LOVE!
The customer service was awesome, and again, might I add now another month in, MY PLANTS LOVE THIS LIGHT!!!! I changed my tune, I am super impressed with this LIGHT! I bought 2 more for my wife's little greenhouse project. You just can't find an LED light this good for a better price or from a company with better customer service.
Using this for my seedlings. Super easy set up you can hang it anywhere as it looks nice, does not get hot and my plants under it are loving it. Have not had any problems and it’s been running for a week.
I don't have the expertise to write about all the technical stuff about this grow lamp but, not having a green thumb, I do have enough sense to know that my poor plants suffer during the short days and lack of sunlight during the winter months. I've made a greenhouse in the bathtub where I water the plants and have hung the lamp so give them enough light. IT WORKS! My plants have perked up again! (My neighbors probably think I'm growing w**d in the house, the way it illuminates the window...heeheehee!) This was definitely a life-saver.
Nice little light for a small group of 2 to 6 inch potted plants. 10 gallon or 20 terrarium or fishtank. I'm using mine on a terrarium and the small plants inside are leaning toward the light and colors have improved on plant leaves. In the picture you can see a creeping Charlie recently taken from outside and replanted. Two lights are offered to the plant. One almost center above it will be a real daylight flood type light almost car headlight style glass. The other is this led light. The plants are actually stretching toward the led. If I turn the led off eventually they correct the lean. Turn the led back on and it's lean time :)
