I was quite surprised that a 28 LED unit would throw as much as it does. Each light covers an area approximately 15' X 20'. I mounted the units approximately 10 feet off the ground and at a 60 degree angle to the ground, along the side of my house and in the entry portico. The units charged quickly and were very easy to mount. The motion sensors are sensitive enough that a rabbit hopping by will activate the lights. I am very pleased with the lights and plan to order four more in the near future.
I placed up on the entry and garage using Scotch Outdoor Mounting Tape. They are exactly what I wanted and with adequate sunlight they work very well. They can also be tied up with string asking as they lay flat on a wall that gets sufficient sunlight. If you have a sliding glass door or a service door maybe even a garage side door. It can go anywhere it can charge.

I've put 2/4 up, at my front door. Once I read the instructions and turned them on (oops), they work great. The only thing to know is that the motion range is further if they're mounted up high. Most motion sensors work this way, so I wasn't completely surprised, but they go off when cars pass by the house 20+ feet away (mounted above my door, so ~7', plus 6" step into door, plus two stairs to sidewalk). Since almost any motion sensor is going to do that, it's not a big deal. They only stay on for a few seconds after the cars pass, and I live on a pretty quiet street so it probably won't drain the battery too badly. These two are on the south face of the house, so they should get plenty of sun even in the winter, working well with partly cloudy conditions over the last few days.
On tip: don't lose the tool to turn them on/off. It's pretty long. I originally tried to use the "key" for popping my SD & SIM card out of my phone, but it wasn't long enough. A paperclip would work, but you'll have to unwind it pretty well. I put the key in my jewelry box to try to avoid losing it (they do provide 2 with the 4 lights).
These are great, it took me all of 5 mins to get them installed aside from the charging. I decided to use some very strong 3m double sided sticky tape instead of drilling into my block wall. Silly to drill into your block wall for some $20 lights. The tape has been holding up great in some pretty extreme hear, and the lights are very light. I decided to go with these instead of the other solar lights for $10 more with more reviews I figured worst case I can return them if they don't work. I guarantee these are just as good as those.

As expected, the light works well under eaves as well as inside house near a window, and does not need much direct sunlight.
Full charge current (under strong sunlight) is about 100mA; charge current from indirect light is 1-5 mA (shady) or 10-15 mA (in a brighter area); and typically charge current is between 40-75mA; discharge current is 340-350mA.
It consumes 1.25-1.3W power, and lumen is between 180-200 (not 400), and battery is non-standard 18650 (replaceable, but hard to find replacement) and its capacity is 1200mAh (not 2200mAh).
Illumination (bright) area is about 15 x 20 (w) sqft, regardless the mounting height.
Mount at 6 feet high (52.66 degree from horizontal, back mounted vertically), 15x20 is the basic covering area.

Direct and indirect light charging facts:
For 20-30 time on/off a day, the light will consume 70-80 mAh energy. Battery can be recharged as long as not under shady location.
If the light will be turned on in 50-60 times per night, this equivalent
30 minutes continuous on, thus 350 * 0.5 = 175 mAh or 0.175 Ah.
This requires 3 hours charging time under direct sunlight, or two days charge under complete indirect sunlight (shady). It is better to mount this light in a place where can have at least one-hour direct sunlight, or a bright location with 10 hours light.
I absolutely recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t want to spend the extra $ with wiring and electricity. I love the convenience it is to place in places where It needs A little extra light outside the home. My husband installed them in the dark places where light fixtures could not brighten the path in our yard. We decided we needed to get more and our neighbors love them so much they all ask us where we got them n how much we spent. When we tell them, they cannot believe it because they look expensive LED white bright lights. We placed two in the side of the yard and two in front of the house and the sensors are just want we wanted them for. U will not be disappointed!
These lights work as advertised and from what I see the company wants to make sure your happy with the purchase, I will buy again for sure.
I've had these up and running for a few days now and so far they have been flawless. They don't need a lot of direct sunlight to charge up which is great and perform better than expected. They have a pretty wide light pattern so you can cover a good amount of space with the entire set. I have these setup in the backyard and they cover an area about 20x30ft.
I highly recommend this product for outdoor use. We had a rain recently and these lights held up and are still functioning. Love these!
I purchased two sets. These are great. They are bright. However, should be placed where they can get direct sunlight or they are not going to be bright. I placed some under the eaves and they do not get enough sunlight. The exposed one are bright. I recommend these. They are light and can be mounted using double sided tape. Just make sure you clean the surface with alcohol.
