Easy to set up and powerful booster!
So far I’ve used this in three situations: to boost a weak signal at the cottage via Ethernet cable so I could get internet upstairs, on vacation so I could use a simpler password than the 20 digit one on their router and be able to use WiFi outside and in the house next door, and also at home so I could boost my signal outside and have the faster 5ghz WiFi speed available. It’s worked great for all three.
Setup is super easy, just connect to the WiFi that pops up and go to wifi dot wavlink dot com, put in the WiFi name and password and that’s pretty much it. I prefer to change the name and password for the booster network but that’s in the options. I think you can use it as a WiFi router too even if you have no WiFi but haven’t done that yet.
All in all, I have no regrets for buying this!
Finally an extender that does what it says it will do! I was wary of unknown brands that cost less and do the same, if not more, than the more popular household name brands. But, after only 5mos past my purchase of the more expensive (albeit more popular) Belkin brand and it completely going bye-bye on me (no power whatsoever even tho it was connected to a power surge protector), I decided to give this one a try.... and right off the bat, it has performed way better than the Belkin one already! Better distribution of signal and all my devices seemingly able to pick up the custom- created SSIDs in a snap despite being placed in an isolated room with far more obstacles than the Belkin one)... the only thing left is seeing how this one will hold in time (looks like it’s already working better so we’ll see). Here’s hoping it lasts because my family is definitely liking the signal boost in the house :)

That's how good this extender is. It makes my whole network hum along better, does it cheaply, and extremely well. I love it!
I have been very pleased with this purchase. The main part of my house is cinder block with a traditional wood structure added on. The main wireless modem is in the addition while the bedrooms is across the other side of the house. The signal was spotty. I got the wavelink range extender and it has helped the signal immensely. I am very happy with this purchase.
This is the 3rd extender that I tried & it works great.I had trouble hooking it up because I am 73 yrs old but my son came over & hooked it up in less than 5 minutes & it works great to get wifi from back of house to smart tv in the Living room.

Got this new WiFi extender due to the old router couldn’t cover outside at the garden. This unit is easy to put together and it comes with detail manual. The coverage is very good when set it as repeater for my garden WiFi extension. Got good DL and UL Tput.
Once you have it configured, it works like a charm and looks cool, too!
Update: it quit after a few days :(
And once again, it's working on 2/23/19. You have to have a wifi signal first, then go to the wifi.wavlink.com, choose your wifi, enter password, sign in. Be sure your device is off. Once you've entered password and it takes the one minute to link, turn on your device(mine was hooked up to LAN port) and it connects. Took me a while to figure this out, but we'll see if it holds.
Easy to set up and it does what it said it would. It did help wifi connection thru our Barn behind the house about 50' with another receiver in the barn.
Very easy to set up and it provides different ways of connection. I am currently choosing to boot the signal through wifi connection but clearly you should be able to do it through landline as well. Right now I have seen two more wife signals I can connect to and both are working pretty good! Overall looks pretty solid product to me!
Bought two, but only needed one to provide the coverage I needed. Returned the second one. Have not had any issues with it deactiviting. Was easy to add to my network and easy to find as part of the network. It added an extra 2.4g port for my devises
