Met all expectations, except that there were some small areas of the hanger which were not shellacked. I'm watching those areas to make sure that they don't damage the lining of my suit jackets. Don't plan to buy these again.
I bought some dark, more expensive hangers from this seller and was completely happy with them. Unfortunately, when I went to buy the darker hangers again, the price had risen 20%.
UPDATE: The seller contacted me, and offered me a partial refund after I sent photos of the rough areas on the hangers. They said they will advise their factory of this issue to improve production quality in the future. I am inclined to give them another chance.
All of the hangers we have in the home are cheap plastic ones.
For heavier jackets like my husband's leather jacket, plastic just won't work. We end up putting two hangers in the jacket to give it a little more support, and after a week or so the hangers are warped and ready to break from the extra weight. It was a bad solution.

These hangers are a great deal for the price. With recently getting into wearing more sport coats and blazers I came to the realization that I needed a better hanger than the cheap plastic one that comes with the coats from the store or without from my auction and thrift store finds. After doing some research and looking around, I decided to give these hangers a shot. I have now ordered a total of 12 hangers for my blazers, peacoats, and top coats. These hangers are working great and look great as well. While they do not match the natrual ash color hangers that I have for my other clothes in my closet they are well worth the money saving to get them to match.
Overall the construction of the hanger is above what you would expect for the price. The cross bar is adaquete. I am not hanging any trousers on it though as I utilize clamping hangers for my suit trousers so it is a non issue for me, but if you plan to put trousers on the cross bar with a suit jacket, be warned you may experience some sagging over time. I would recommend these hangers to anyone though looking for a value and still getting something quality.
These hangers are gorgeous! I never thought I would say that about hangers!! They are made of such high quality materials, sanded so smoothly I will never have to worry about them snagging any clothing or anything else I hang on them. What else would I hang on them you ask? Well I make baby quilts and sell them at the local farmers markets I currently have 26 made so I am running out of table space. these hangers are such amazing quality that I am going to use them today(fingers crossed for no rain) to hang some of my quilts to display, they will be more visible to the shoppers and hopefully get more attention than they did last month when they were just laying on the table. So I love having a walk-in closet. It is a new experience for me and I like to hide in there from kids and responsibility. These hangers are really quite nice and add a classy polished look to the closet. They are wide enough for my Giant husband's (6'7") sport jackets and I also use them for blouses that might stretch on the shoulders (knits/lacy). I have already order twice and might order again. Give them a try. The dark walnut finish is very lovely.

One minor niggle: the edges could be finished a bit better, they are still a bit jagged. Due to the price I expect pretty much perfection, so one * deduced.
I have been searching for some strong hangers that have a cleaner look to hang my suits instead of using the cheap plastic hangers I usually pick up at Target. While those plastic ones do work good for jeans and light shirts I find that my suit jackets are constantly slipping and dropping off of those hangers. It seems like these hangers are made for heavy duty jackets and coats. I also feel super GQ when I'm reaching for an article of clothing off of this hanger. I am very happy with these and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to hang their clothes on something stronger than the generic plastic hangers. I also really like the retro wood finish on these which adds to the way you feel when grabbing an article of clothing off the hanger. Definitely worth it!
Beautifully made wide shoulders for your suit or even a leather jacket. I bought these hangers because I have quite a few leather jackets that are heavy and tend to bend plastic hangers over time. I need the wide shoulder ends so as not to deform these jackets. They are nicely packaged and they arrived without a single hanger broken. These appear to be well made, and so far they are holding up to the weight of heavy leather jackets. I will probably buy more for my suits and sports coats.

We will see how long these last. I have other wooden hangers which had the metal hanger part coming out after a few weeks.
These hangers are pretty solidly built; I am something of a klutz, and more than once I've dropped them from a fair distance and nothing was bent or even soiled. I might have wished for about half an inch more of bar length, inasmuch as I'm a tad on the large size, but this is purely a pants issue; the biggest coats and jackets I have fit nicely.
These hangers are beautiful and everything looks so neat and organized in the 2 closets that I just reorganized. I bought 2 boxes of the regular wooden hangers which were nice, except some were a little scratchy. The extra wide seemed a better quality. I bought 2 boxes of those for heavy coats. I am very pleased with the look and the way the clothes stay on the hangers. I will be purchasing more soon.
