We bought these in a hurry for a party where we knew we would be making s'mores. They were great for s'more making, but they're a little flimsy and I don't think they'd be great for hot dogs or anything heavier than a marshmallow. To be fair, however, I didn't try using this product with a hot dog.
They're fairly easy to clean but I would not put them in the dishwasher.
These things are fantastic! I have six kids around a fire this weekend testing these roasting sticks out for S’mores and they worked so well! I love that they have a case that comes with them. The kids approved so I approve!!
Also - I ordered these last minute on Thursday before our party and they arrived super fast!
We ordered these roasting sticks for a family camping trip. We love that they are compact and come in a handy little bag for storage. They fit perfectly in the motor home and don't take up a lot of room. The kids loved them. It is great to have an extendable stick.
Took these camping last weekend and they did great roasting homemade marshmallows over the fire. I do wish they were a little longer but overall they were as advertised and did the job well.

Love how each stick has a different color and also it extends so that way out hand is not so close to the fire when roasting marshmallows :)
Love the carrybag! Easy to use! Not necessarily easy to clean w melted marshmallow.
Pulls out To make them safe to hold over a fire. Perfect for roasting marshmallows.
They work good but I'm worried about durability they seem thin. So far so good, but with pushing and pulling to extend I worry about it breaking because of how thin the metal is.
These are exactly what I was looking for.
