Used it to wire directly into my 67 bug's wiring harness so I didn't need magnetic tow lights. Wish it had a full length ground wire!!!
I needed a 4-wire extension where the ground runs full length. This product is good with heaver wire, but is designed for wiring a trailer where the frame serves as a ground. Because of that, the white ground wire is only 2' of the 20' length.
Description Heading "FULL LENGTH GROUND WIRE" actually says at the end the ground wire is 2' length.
If I was wiring a trailer, I would use this harness for the heavier 18ga copper wire.
one of the brown tail light wires did not conduct any electricity. after using my circuit tester it was discovered that the wire did not have continuity in the 4 prong plug so I had to jump that wire to the other brown wire that did have continuity, not it works.
UPDATE: Seller refunded the amount do to the defect! A+ service!
I needed to rewire my trailer and want that white neutral wire on both ends. This has it. The wire quality is that of the major brands, it is true to length. Delivery was quick with prime and my trailer is once again on the road. I do suggest if rewiring to use the self soldering heat shrink connectors make the install and connections clean and solid.
Just make sure you don't over twist the wire nuts. I did on 2 out of 4 connections, and snapped the wire. Didn't notice till lights didn't blink. Simple fix. Was my bad. Also, obviously make good ground connections. Works just fine.

Cable works. It is not one continuous piece, it comes in 2 pieces and the the insulation is pre-cut at the ends for you to spice them into each other or into your existing wiring. Will be shortening mine considerably.
Thicker gauge wire made connections easy and the split left and right runs easily pulled through my trailer tubing. This item has a superior harness connection than the harness that came with the light kit I bought in that the rubber square protects the wire connections so that when you really push it into the truck you aren’t running the risk of breaking wires.
Seems ok except for the REALLY small ground wire connector. I might just cut it off & add a larger one. Otherwise, looks good.
