These are the most pointed tweezers I have found and I like that they will break the skin and allow me to retrieve what I am going after (not ingrown hair - I have small irritating nodules that form just under my skin that I go after since the dermatologists have no solution other than antibiotics and those don't work). The tweezers are also good for tweezing eyebrow hairs individually without grabbing more than just the one, though at first I was accidentally breaking the hair until I figured out the best angle to use to pull the hairs.
I have all three tweezers and they by far are THE BEST TWEEZERS I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. From removing hair and blackheads these tweezers definitely do the job and the price was great since they are of good quality and this the kind of product I purchased a good quality product. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone being that they have excellent grip on them as well. I have also found them very helpful removing splinters and ticks as well. Great great great tweezers. They are SO precise and very comfortable to use. I know this is not the recommended use, but have to share anyway: My 6 year old daughter was complaining about her throat hurting and being scratchy. When I looked with a flashlight, I could see a sliver of pumpkin seed shell sticking out of her tonsil. We tried gargling with salt water and coughing, Neither worked. I pulled out these tweezers, sanitized them with alcohol, and was able to reach right back there to grab the splinter. These are definitely longer than regular tweezers, which helped a lot. But it's the precision that makes them perfect!
I love these tweezers! They are meticulously made and were very well packaged in a plastic sleeve and a protective cover for the pointed tips. The tips come together precisely and are far better than tweezers that I have that cost a lot more. While I bought these specifically for ingrown hairs I feel that they would be excellent at removing splinters given the precision of the point. They do an excellent job removing ingrowns! These have fine tips that have surprisingly strong grip. I have many fine tipped tweezers that only grip at the very tip, but these TweezerGuru tweezers have a well designed flex in the tip that allows a firm grip over the full tip area. I have many tweezers that I use for electronics, but I purchased these for use in my new hobby of sewing. These TweezerGuru tweezers work Great with thread as well as paper and cloth.
I have not tried them for hygienic use.

I really like these tweezers. I usually purchased Tweezerman, however the price has gone up and the quality down. So I took a chance on these and so far I am very happy. They are longer and wider and have a better grip. The Tweezerman's have gotten dull, I've had them for lees than 4 months, and the tips no longer touch. I only use them for my eyebrows. I will post a follow up if these change or dull.

These tweezers are what I've been needing for a long time. I unfortunately have issues with ingrown hairs along my bikini line and these work wonderfully to lift out the embedded hairs. I do have to use another set to grasp and remove the hairs as these seem a bit slippery on the hair shaft. Maybe with practice I'll be able to use only these. Be very careful as these are extremely pointy and sharp. They are well made and a very nice weight. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

These tweezers are perfect...very light weight (big plus for packing around on trails--extremely important to my husband--and for storing in pocket). I like for facial hairs...I like the slender, narrow tip MUCH better than the normal blunt ended tweezers that I have always used. I can get right in there and pluck away on the exact hair I want removed. (Especially lately with gray hairs showing up in my dark eyebrows! And, over 60, I started getting random long hairs on upper lip area and jawline. EGADS.) I think the price is crazy low for such a well-made product. HIGHLY recommend.
I've been disappointed by tweezers so many times; my expectations were low. I was BLOWN AWAY. These are the best tweezers I've ever owned. I'm considering buying a backup pair so I can be sure of always having these! They have a very fine point and grip extremely well. They're also easy and comfortable to grasp.
The only possible downside I can see is that they're very precise, which is great if you're going after a splinter or an ingrown hair. They wouldn't work as well for more slash-and-burn type work, like attacking bushy eyebrows or what have you.
