I purchased this unit in November 2018. Three days ago I began getting an audible message from the unit saying there was an "SD card error". I sent an email to DDPAI and received a message within 12 hours that stated the SD unit had failed and could not be repaired. I was offered a replacement and if acceptable they would send me a code to replace the unit through Amazon. I gratefully accepted the offer, as the unit has been an outstanding performer. I received the code a few minutes ago and placed the order for the free replacement. I'll have the new unit by tomorrow and am very impressed with the service I've received.
I definitely recommend the Mini3 for performance and service, when it was needed.
This is a very nice dashcam: it's small and very discreet, unlike the ones with built-in screens, and works pretty well. The picture is very good, and very wide so it captures everything going on in front of the vehicle. The Android app, however, is less than great, and a little hard to figure out.
One suggestion I do have for this device is the recording time window: the longest window setting is only 30 seconds (15 before the incident and 15 after). This thing can record many hours of video in a continuous loop, so I don't see why it's so stingy on the windows it saves. There's a setting for this, but 30 seconds is the longest. They really should up this to 1 or 2 minutes.
I purchased this for my another car based on my previous experience with their product: mix3. Their customer support responded to me fast, that gave me confidence to try another product. Mini3.
It came with DashCam, bracket, remote snap, cables, stickers, installation tool and quick start guide, all packed in a nice box. The DashcCam is made by metal not cheap plastic, and it has a sticker on it so I can attach it to the windshield. and I know the sticker is very strong to hold the DashCam when I installed my mix3. After downloading DDPAI App to my cell phone, I was able to connect to the DashCam through build-in wifi and configure the setting . This Cam doesn't have a viewing screen, I have to use the App to control/manage the Cam, such as view/share the clips and take a picture. The remote Snap can be used to take picture too which is a plus. I believe that I can also link the DashCam to my computer to download the clips from build-in 32GB memory (I haven't tried that yet). The clip quality is very good and clear. So far, I am very satisfied with this Cam. I will post more if any updates.
Looks great. App is a little frustrating. It does loop record but trying to get a 5minute clip to download from the loop is a pain. Overall satisfied though. Everyone loves the way it looks and the picture is great.
I wrote one review for this camera, but did not have enough space to finish what I wanted to say. We have bought 6 cameras and are using 5. They are fabulous. I love that there is no distraction from a screen. We bought these after our granddaughter was cited in an accident when her car was sitting perfectly still. I realize how important these cameras are in any accident, but compared to the cost of a lawyer - well there is no comparison.

Have had it installed for a few days. My first dashcam. Its early to review but ill update if there are any issues.
So far its fantastic. Great picture and even audio quality. Night time vision seems better than my own eyes.
I've read the other reviews about the app not working well with android phones; I use a galaxy S9 and the app seems to work fine - you just need to disable your data when you want to view videos using the app.
Love the discreet design, black adhesive mount and the snapshot remote control button.
Fantastic camera. Installed below my rear view mirror, completely hidden unless you're looking for it. No screen is a great thing as it makes this look factory installed. The app is slick, but functionality is clunky. The best thing to do is expand the capture to 30 seconds and clips download automatically. Otherwise you're dealing with the timeline which is really more difficult than it needs to be. All in all however, it's great. Highly reccomend getting the hardwire kit. It takes no more time but enables the parking mode and looks more factory installed.
Bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday. He is extremely impressed with the quality of the pictures, it was easy to install, and says it’s very easy to take pictures with it and instantly download onto his phone. I had purchased the hard wiring kit to allow the 24/7 monitoring, but didn’t realize I had ordered the wrong one. The company emailed me, informing me that the wrong one had been purchased/sent. So they sent me a coupon for 99% off the correct hard-wiring kit!! What company does that? An amazing one! This company has now solidified its business and raving reviews with me. Very impressed!!
Awesome camera and the quality is really good! This $60 dashcam from a chinese manufacturer can easily go head to head with BV dash cams and hold it's own. The only minor thing to improve is their app.. it need to be more fluid especially when viewing live. However, other than that it takes amazing pictures, really good video and sound is clear for a dash cam. Please do not expect ANY dash cam to have a sound quality of a $200+ microphone. This is a DASH CAM with primary function to record videos.. it does that very well!
This is the best dash cam for the money as of today. Small, Stealthy, Stylish very well made,very easy setup. Most of the other dashcams on the market are just big and ugly.
Recommendation: use magnets if you want to make it removable it's very easy.
As of today 11/06/2018 the camera survived hot Vegas summer and still working flawlessly
