Rankie 3.5mm to 2-Male RCA Adapter Cable - 6 Feet

I purchased this to connect my Fire to a receiver and it’s working flawlessly. I another cable I purchased on that big auction site to save a few bucks thinking they were all pretty much the same… wrong! We recently received a software upgrade to the Fire and then couldn’t get the same level of sound out of it and would have to crank the receiver up to 50 just to hear the words. I tried the Fire back on another receiver with this cable and it worked fine with the volume at about 30 (volume on the Fire is always set at maximum). I then moved the Fire and this cable back to the room we were having problems and everything was fine… problem solved. The first suspicions were the Fire 3.5mm jack was faulty or the receiver was failing but it was clearly the cable that we had originally thought was fine because it was working great when connected to our Walkman cassette player. I’m not sure why it worked on the Walkman and not on the Fire but, clearly, not all cables perform and/or fail to perform over time as they once did. Anyway, 5-stars for this one and I threw the old adapter away and bought a new one with excellent reviews and a brand name… no more saving a buck for the sake of saving a buck.

At the reduced price, and seeing the item was fulfilled by Amazon, but from another party, not the manufacturer, I rolled the dice. I was concerned this would be a "like" item, not what was shown in the photo. Pleased to report, purchasing from JEDirect, fulfilled by Amazon, I got exactly what was shown. The build quality is really nice, it included a velcro cable manager, and the polished surfaces of the connectors were covered in protective plastic. Not the level of detail I would have expected for $3.99! There's even a lifetime warranty,

The 3.5 male end connects snugly to my Echo Dot (1st get), and no issues with the RCA connectors. I had originally tried a 3.5mm to RCA video/audio cable I had laying around, but only got one channel, not both left and right. Replacing it with this dedicated 3.5mm to RCA audio only cable solved the issue I was having. So far I'm pleased!

At first I thought these didn't work. My turntable preamp didn't like them. I had old ratty cables I was using but I got these as what I hoped would be an upgrade. They felt substantial and fit the rca ports very snugly. I had high hopes for these! So I plugged them in and got a loud hum. What? I didn't mess up the ground or anything, what happened?! Old cables... Worked. These... Hum. What?!

Anyway I had new speakers coming in the mail and I tested them first with the old cables, and then with these. I'm happy to say these sound great with my new setup and I have no issue with them.

I subtracted one star because I still can't figure out why they raised hell with my old setup. I don't know. But I do know they work now, so I'm not gonna worry too much about it. If you're experiencing something weird, it may not be the cables.

I bought this cable for my personal audio setup (I needed RCA input to my receiver). So far it has worked very well. The connections themselves are of good quality and the cable looks pretty sweet. It also comes with a nice Velcro strap if you want to use it for cable management. The final awesome thing about this product is that it's got a lifetime warranty, so when your cable wears out in, hopefully, a great several years, you can contact them for a replacement. I haven't had any experience with actually getting a replacement (have only had the cable for about a month) but from my experience with signing up for the warranty they seem polite and focused on user satisfaction.

Description

The build quality of this RCA cable is excellent. The cord feels sturdy and well made, of high quality rubber to insulate the wires and keep interference to a minimum. The jacks themselves are nice metal ones, gold plated for excellent conductivity and sound quality. I have been using them with no problems, and they have fit what I need them for so well that I might definitely look into what other products the manufacturer has available.

I bought one of these so I could play music files from my phone on an old home theater receiver I had lying around and installed in an old traffic signal control cabinet. As one does, you know. I was so impressed with how well made they are for the price that I bought another pair to run a 1970's vintage stereo receiver from my office computer. As I have my desktop computer on the floor and the receiver is on the shelf the 6' length is useful. I'm not quite an audiophile, so I don't have any expensive cables to compare back-to-back, but these sound fine to me.

Guess what this works. I thought one side didn't work but it was my speaker wire that was the problem. I played the stereo and had two speakers so I thought it was the cable to the Alexa Dot, but it was the Aux line that was the problem. I had NO problem once I took a closer look. I am an old lady, but I know the old technology knowledge of my old speakers and could fix it. Just a thought

This cable works perfectly. I'm using it to play audio from an iPod and a laptop through a guitar amplifier. Well made cable with solid connections and no loss of audio quality. Great price too!

I needed to replace an old y cable because the 3.5mm housing was to think to fit into my Pixel XL with a case in it. The product fit the bill perfect. It has a slim 3.5mm housing. Audio sounds better than my previous cable as well.
