God bless the maker of this straightener. My 4 yo has a head full of hair and absolutely hates getting it combed. I always think someone is going to call the police because she is so dramatic and screaming when her hair gets done. I was skeptical about it working on black hair but it has made doing hair a thousand times better. I’m buying 3 more because I don’t ever want to be without it and have recommended it to several friends who have already added to their amazon carts.
I'm in love 😍 with this hair straightener!!! I have very fine, wavy and little hair with absolutely NO volume at all. I like to have straight hair cause it's less frizzy and easier to deal with. So I usually flat iron to straighten my hair but that leaves my hair really flat and limp. This hair straightener comb not only straightens my hair but also gives it volume, shine and movement/life in my hair. It's like I just got a blow out. You can also create hair flips inward or outward at the ends. I'm so happy with this product and can't stop talking about it to my fellow fine limp hair friends. 💁🏻💁🏻💁🏻
I LOVE this freaking thing! I have super thick hair, but a couple of easy passes and it's thick and straight. A few more passes and it beautifully flat and luxurious! I am half Mexican and half Hungarian. My hair doesn't know what Country to associate with, but it doesn't have to make that decision anymore bc this thing handles it! If you're on the fence about buying this product, I'm electronically pushing you over. I never leave reviews and I haven't been paid to leave this one. I just wanted to let all my sisters know about it!

I'm African-American and have very long, thick, curly/wavy hair. It typically takes me about 45 minutes to flat-iron my hair straight. I SWEAR (yes, I timed it) this can straighten my hair in TEN MINUTES! Now it's not going to be 100% as straight as using a flat iron and sectioning your hair into a billion small sections, like you do with a flat-iron, but I section my hair in about 4 sections, then just run this thing through it. It comes out gorgeous and with a bit more body than the flat iron! My daughter has shorter, much courser hair than mine and I use it on her hair as well -- turns out beautifully. I LOVE the fact that you can touch the scalp with this tool and not get burned because the hot, metal part is hidden beneath thick plastic-like material. However, because of this, you can't get as close to the scalp/edges as you could with a traditional hot-comb. I just break my old hot comb out to get my edges -- easy peasy!
I can only find two cons:
1) The top (outer) part gets a bit too hot to touch if you're on level 5 or 6, but the handle doesn't get too hot (which of course, you're SUPPOSED to use -- I just naturally sometimes try to grab the top if my hair is slightly tangled and I need a bit more "umph" to pull the tool through.) Of course this isn't a big deal!
2) As with most of these types of products, the on/off switch is located on the handle, and I have turned it off unintentionally when straightening my hair. Again, not a big deal.
For $30, this is a life-saver!

This is a little lifesaver. I am African American. My curl pattern isn't very tight, but this electric comb sufficiently straightens my hair on the second from the highest setting. It has a burn guard that allows me to comb it through my hair and get close to the roots without worrying about burning. I would highly recommend this as a straightening device for any hair texture.

Easy to use and combs through thick, kinky hair with no snags. Did not silk press it bit blew it out where I could manage and comb through it with ease. I have recommended this comb to all my natural friends.
I wasn't sure what the expect when I ordered this product. But it's just a flat iron with a comb attached. I have mostly straight hair, but if I want it styled I have to blow dry it using a round brush to get it to fall the way I want. I find this to be way too much work in the morning, so I generally blow dry, whipping my hair around and it looks frizzy and messy. Now I run this comb through my hair and 30 seconds later it looks the same as if I'd used a styling brush. This straightener is well worth the money.
This straightening brush is absolutely AMAZING!! I have really strong parts and “cow licks” that are almost impossible to flatten or calm with a flat iron or curling iron! This comb gets to the base of the scalp but the heating teeth are covered but an outer barrier so you can’t actually touch the heated part even if you wanted to (no forehead flat iron burns) It’s heats instantly and to a heat high enough to do the job! I wish like crazy I had this product 25 years ago!! I gave low stars for drying because this product is not meant to dry the hair. This is very high quality, not a cheap plastic product!
