I set this tube tent up on today in Vermont 2 days ago and left it up. Today we have 40 mph gusts and a very chilly wind. I went out again today - about 40 with icy sharp gusts of wind and that tent was still standing with no damage. The ground is still frozen here so I put down a couple of wood bricks in the ends to help hold it down. I used some silk medical tape to partially seal one end, and to keep it from sliding on the string. I was quite comfortable at 40 with a sweater, boots hat and mittens in there in spite of the sharp wind gusts. Only one thing - I would call this a one person tube tent, not 2 for sure. But, the smaller size makes it easier to heat it up and stay warm. I love it.
I like that it comes in a small package and easy to store in my backpack. It is lightweight and reversible, which is a plus for us. Everything was included and ready for use.
I purchased this as an emergency shelter for my Camino when the alberques are full. It is while is doesn't weigh much more than a mylar tube tent, it is much more durable.
