This step stool is very sturdy and stays in place when being used. I have arthritis, so I am not as spry as I once was. I use this step stool to get into my very high bed, and it is perfect for that use. Since it is also lightweight, I can also carry it into the kitchen to use when I need to reach something on an upper cabinet shelf. I highly recommend this step stool.
I ordered this item because I had a plastic one before and I stepped on it and it broke causing me to fall. This product is sturdy, doesn't slide and it came assembled and ready for use. Very good if you are older and need a step up.
This stool proved to be perfect after having hip surgery and needing help stepping into our bathtub. It's the perfect height and width, and more importantly, is amazingly stable. The build quality is hospital grade too... It's a keeper. Also, I can see this being useful for kids needing that extra boost reaching a bathroom faucet or for adults navigating the top shelf of a pantry. Oh, and I ordered this from Amazon just before being wheeled into surgery and it was delivered and waiting for by the time I returned home the following day!
We love this product! I use this to get into and out of a high bed due to my arthritis and I loved it so much I bought one for my cat to help her get up and down from a chair and onto the bed because she has arthritis too. LOL. That non skid top is perfect for feet and paws!!
No problems, a little high for one step but it's perfect to get me into my tall bed

Just what I wanted. I am seeing a Physical Therapist for low back issues. A stool like this was suggested for stability in reaching high shelves in the kitchen, etc. I will also be able to use it for step up, step down exercises. Reasonable price and quick service!
Great sturdy stool. It holds a lot of weight and is wider (good!) than I expected. It will not slip on the floor. I got it for mt toddler grandson to reach the counter tops and bathroom sink and it is perfect. I am very happy with this product.

I needed sturdy step stools for my preschool, nothing worked until I found these. They a e sturdy, they do not move and really easy to clean and sanitize. Will buy more in the future!
The stool has rubber feet as well as a rigged rubber mat on the surface that prevents slipping. It is the perfect height for me to get clothes from my washer as my arms are short. Next time I buy a washer, I'll try a front loader. Until then the step stool is working for me.
