Let me first say that, as a mom of five with the figure to match, I'm not normally a big fan of bodycon style dresses for myself. I'm 5'10 and usually wear a size 16, so I don't have the body type that typically looks good in a bodycon dress. But when I saw this one, I loved the design so much that I really wanted to try it anyway, and I'm glad I did! I ordered this dress in a size XXL (and in black in hopes of that magical slimming effect), and it fit wonderfully.
This dress IS quite form-fitting, as you'd expect with a dress of this type. However, the material is very stretchy (almost like a spandex blend), but doesn't have that shiny appearance you'd expect. The material is also quite thick so it stays a very dark matte black even at the stretchiest points, without any weird lines or see-through issues. The material is also very soft – it doesn’t dig in uncomfortably when you move around or sit down. As a tall girl, I was worried about the sleeves not being long enough; happily, they do in fact hit my wrists, which is unusual for me with long-sleeved tops. The length of the dress is pretty short on me (several inches above the knee), but not so short as to be obscene, and it wouldn't be as short on women of an average height.
The sequins that form the design aren't standard super-flashy sequins – they're shiny, but not to the point of being gaudy or too sparkly. They come across as classy instead of "LOOK AT ME!" And the pattern is designed to help camouflage flaws – like I mentioned, I'm a bigger girl; I also recently had a baby and haven't rediscovered my waist yet, but this dress helps to give some illusion of my former waistline with the "belt" design around the middle. (And also, the pattern and subtle shine are both very eye-catching, drawing attention away from my problem areas!) The design is on the front half of the dress only; the back is solid black. I'm not certain how the sequins are attached, as they don't poke through the back of the material (some sort of glue, I assume) – so far they've stayed put perfectly (after wearing the dress for several hours at a normal level of activity and then hand washing and drying). I'm also impressed that the zipper, which runs all the way from the lower back up, doesn't gap oddly around the waist as so many dresses (or even skirts) with longer zippers are prone to do. Also, you can't even tell that there's a zipper once it's zipped up - it looks just like the rest of the seam and lies very flat. Since I didn't have a helper to zip the dress for me, I tried putting it on with the zipper mostly zipped (over the head like a T-shirt) – it was a little bit awkward getting into it, but thanks to the stretchiness of the material, it was an achievable goal.
I chose to hand wash the dress and then hang it to dry – I did toss it in the dryer on the air (no heat) setting for a few minutes with a dryer sheet just to make it a little bit softer and make sure there would be no wrinkles. It can't be ironed, but the material really doesn't wrinkle anyway, even if it's left sort of haphazardly draped over a laundry basket.
Overall, this is a great dress, both comfortable and flattering even for fuller-figured women.

I wear a 12-14 and I order XL and it fit like a glove, you will not be disappointed if you order this dress. I order it for a evening of dinner and dancing with my husband and he was blowing away by this dress. So many compliments all evening.
I love this dress!! Im gonna be wearing it on 2/4/17 for my 50th bday party and it's gonna be a showstopper!! I looks just as good in person as online too.

This dress did not disappoint, and it was very flattering on my plus size frame!! There is a lot of stretch in the material and it hugs in all the right places!! I slayed at my 50th bday party in this dress!! The bling is just enough and held up very well, no falling beads or beads getting caught on stuff!! People are still talking about how I looked in my dress!!

This embellished evening dress is absolutely STUNNING! I wanted a fancy dress to go out at night and to go to Las Vegas next year. When I saw this dress – I thought it not only looked amazing comfortable, but it was ALSO sexy and flashy and that is just what I wanted to wear all day when I was hitting the city!
I got the size XL – I am a size 12 and this fits perfectly. The material is very stretchy. I think that if you were a size 10-12 and maybe even a size 14 this would fit good. Apparently according to the Amazon listing – this dress is made from polyester. I was wondering if perhaps this is a blend of materials and not just exclusively polyester – the material is SOOOO soft yet thick, and actually this doesn’t cause static. Since the material is thick enough, it almost smoothes out any imperfections on my body and causes a sleek, slender figure. Usually if I have something only polyester – the material is almost itchy. This is SUPER soft, maybe there is some rayon in the blend?
The embellishment is of course what this dress is all about. The front has several silver stud details over the whole surface. The back of the dress is 100% black with no studs. These studs are super sexy and the pattern they are arranged in is flattering and eye catching. In dim light, this dress is sparkly yet classy, and the best part is when you wash this dress, it is made so well that it looks so clean and new every time. There is no fading or the studs don’t fall off. The dress also does NOT wrinkle. This is why it’s so great for travel – I can throw this in my suitcase and then pull it out and wear it the same day without ironing. Overall, if you are looking for a super sexy dress that doesn’t involve a low neckline or cut outs to show skin – this is a modest yet flashy alternative. 5/5 stars!

I was a little nervous about quality at first since I read a few reviews regarding tears in the seams. My dress came in perfect condition and was packaged really nicely. The dress isn't really tight like most bodycon dresses - it fit very comfortably. I wanted something with sleeves since I'll be attending a wedding in northern AZ in October and for someone who lives in the Phoenix area, anything under 75 is cold. This dress is also nice and thick so it's even more perfect than I thought. For reference, I'm a little under 5'6 and about 130 and I bought a medium.

I turned heads in this dress it stretches I am full figure woman so it was kind of short but I wore over the knee boots.
This dress was awesome! Great look, great fit, excellent quality. I weigh 175 pounds and am 5'4 and ordered a large, I could have ordered a Xlg for my bust but this dress fit perfectly (I do not have much stomach). Overall this was a GREAT buy.
