Taking measurements is much easier than ever, with click click click! There are couple reasons that make me to buy this product:
* accuracy, if it's not accurate, even you have 1000 functions/features are useless! When I compare the measurements with a measuring tape, I found out the error is like 0.02 ft!!! That's really amazing and maybe it's just slightly shifted, so, I consider this is highly accurate!
* Pythagorean theorem of measurement, to make this more easier to understand than the specific Math term, let's put a real-life example, when you want to measure a building's height, but you are unable to get close to it, for whatever reasons, like there are bushes, pond, dangerous to climb up a ladder, here this tool can help, it can take a measurement of the top point with a click, then the horizontal measurement, and it can calculate the height for you! No need to climb up a ladder or drop a tape, very safe and convenient, and can be finished by yourself only.
* single person operation, similar to the previous use case, you no longer need extra person to hold the other end of the measurement tape for you at the other end, this tool is very handy that just point, click and measure!

I purchased this digital laser measure for my reconstruction project of garage, and it did perfect job. First, it is much easier to use than the traditional measuring tapes. There is no necessary to have some assists me during measurement. Second, the unit conversion is very useful. Sometimes I would feel confuse about conversion between feet/inch to meter/centimeter, and now it becomes simple. The most importance is the accuracy of the measure. I used the numbers obtained from the measure to order the parts without any problem.
The similar products made by name brands are at least $100 and up. I got it for only $25 and change. I compared it with my contractor friend's expensive professional laser measure. They do almost the same thing and same accuracy. The operation is simple. Press the red button once to start the laser beam (you will see a red dot at destination). Then, press the red button again to get the reading. There is a unit conversion key to convert the readings between "feet" and "meter". The bubble levels also help you to take measurements more correctly.
This tool has helped me immensely. I work by myself and have no one to even hold the end of a tape measure. Skeptical at first, but this tool has proved reliable and the accuracy is as advertised. There are some configurations where it can’t be used, but that is not the fault of the tool, it’s a matter of space and geometry. Very easy to use and some of the functions such as storing measurements is very helpful. I like it and use it a lot. Accurate to 1/16”, but no finer than that. Not for use where finer accuracy is needed.
I bought this one as backup. I was kinda worried since this is a new product from some Chinese manufacturer. The package arrived secure and came with 2 new batteries. I compared it with my Bosch one, this BEVA is surprisingly good and accurate. I wouldn't rely on it for stuff need more accuracy (I still trust my Bosch the most), but for home projects, it should be good enough.

I am looking for a house right now and my agent recommend this tiny little useful thing to me. It can measure the length of the room or backyard very quickly. Some rooms are actually very small but the seller put a very small bed in it to make the room looks larger. Don't let them fool you. I also used it to check whether the floor is tilted. It's very common for houses built in 1950's and 1960's.
I had previously used a Bosch laser distance reader, which got stolen when we had a break in. I had measured the house for a remodel and found this way to measure MUCH more convenient. I finally replaced the item with this little device, and couldn't be happier. I have spent the last day checking consistency, and comparing the measurements between this and the recorded measurements of the old Bosch version I had before. This one is SPOT ON. Consistency has been perfect. At also has the benefit of built in bubble levels which helps get a more consistent measure. I am thrilled with this product, don't think I would spend the extra money to go with Bosch again.
The LDM works great indoors and is very easy to use. However, I have noticed it doesn't work so great outside. I do not know if that was in the product description or not but you are better off just using a good ole tape outdoors instead. However, if you are doing small projects around the house and it is just you this is a great tool to have.
I ordered this so I could take quick measurements of the rooms of a house I'm buying. We're planning some remodels and need the measurements to determine materials and so on. It seems to work well so far. Measurements are instant and it's very easy to use. Came with a holster case, a belt clip and a small lanyard. Seems well made and I'm amazed at the features for the price. Would recommend, absolutely.
As an designer, I used to have an old laser distance meter which was around 100 dollars at that time. But for such price, this one works perfect for me. I would say, it is even easier to use comparing to my old one. It has a digital screen which shows the last three measurements you took. Good product for such price.
