I am using it for iPhone X in my car, I thought like buying phone holder but when I saw this items it was interesting that it is having holder com wireless charger.
It is very good product and having nice features are, automatic lock after you place your phone inside the holder which is nice and secure, unlock is also easy just holing your fingers on side buttons, I can see that my phone getting charged faster than the other device I am using, mounted on my car dashboard very easily, able to rotate and use my phone 360 D, but unlock can be done only when device is in vertical direction it would be nice it does unlocking any angle. Overall it is an excelling product worth to money no regret.
This is a great wireless car charger. It suctions to my dash and I can use it in multiple angles. There are 2 arms that adjust for length and angle. The handles shut on their own when you set your phone against it, so it needs to be plugged in at all times. When you are ready to take it out you simple touch the silver buttons and it releases it. But my phone (galaxy S9) fits in there great. I had to adjust the arm slightly as the angle and the weight of my phone kept loosening the suction, dropping my phone. But once I found the right angle it has not moved.
This charger is much more sophisticated than I expected. Apparently, wireless chargers need some way to know when there's a phone attached to it to charge, and car chargers seem to solve this problems one of two ways: an infrared sensor or a weight (gravity) switch. This one has a weight switch, the bottom hook of the 3 phone clamp. When the charger is powered (plugged in with the car turned on) and you place the phone on the bottom hook, the side hooks are motorized and clamp together on your phone. To release the phone, you have to touch a small steel square on the side of the charger, near the bottom (just in back of the edge of your phone), and then they open up with a little whirring sound. It's very easy to do, but:
a) you have to remember to open it before you turn the car off, otherwise it stays clamped on your phone. (This is the only reason I didn't give the product 5 stars) and
b) you have to remember NOT to touch there if you're doing anything on your phone while it's attached, because the clamps will open up.
I was skeptical of this gravity thing before I got the charger, but having used it, I can say it works very well. The side clamps hold the phone very firmly. I've rarely had it open up accidentally because the car was bouncing on a rough rode (once or twice in the 1000 miles/6 weeks since I've owned the charger). It charges well. If you don't need the quick-charge function, it works fine with an ordinary lighterplug/USB adapter, or the USB plug built into your car. The suction base has stayed mounted since the first time I installed it with no problems.
It would be nice if the design included an emergency release switch to open the clamps when the power is off. (As I mentioned, they clamp quite firmly.) Other than that, I'm very satisfied with it. No way to tell yet how durable it will be.
Until using this I was charging my phone in the car with a regular cord. The phone would fall not be in a position favorable to see while driving (especially when using for driving directions). Now the phone is so easy to see. The holder prevents the phone from slipping down or falling yet it's easy to pull the phone out of when getting out of car. The holder is large enough but doesn't obstruct view on windshield. Great product!
For the most part, I'm very pleased with this wireless charging car mount. The assembly was clear and straightforward, and I was impressed with the quality of the components.
When installing in my car, I mounted the holder on my dash, and the suction cup that attached it seems quite secure. Once attached, it was easy to adjust the holder to the location and position that I desired.
In order to power the holder, it needs to be plugged into a USB port in the car. This enables both the wireless charging and the automatic mechanism that keeps the phone secure in the holder. Upon being powered on, the mount arms expand so that you can put your phone in. Once it's set down, the arms close around the phone to hold it securely, and the phone begins charging. I have a Moto X4 without built-in charging, so I added this capability with an external charging pad that connects to the phone's USB-C port, and it works (though only at a slow charging speed). Based on the item's description, I would expect other phones to charge slightly faster, but I couldn't test this because I don't have any with built-in wireless charging.
To remove the phone, there are metal buttons on the left and right sides of the holder. Touching either of these will expand the arms so the phone can be removed. This removal method is my main reason for subtracting one star from my rating. In order for the arms to open, the unit must have power, which requires that the car is turned on. I wouldn't typically remove my phone from the holder until after I had parked and turned off the car. But since this won't work while the holder isn't powered, I have to remove the phone from the holder before turning off the car. It would be helpful if there was some kind of manual release so that the phone could be removed even if the holder isn't powered. Additionally, this means you can't put the phone into the holder until the car is turned on and the unit has power.
So overall, I'm happy with the car mount. However, I think there are some ways the product could be improved to better handle a phone being placed in it and removed.

This charger is easy to assemble and very convenient to use. It automatically holds the phone (you have to plug it in to power first though, in order for the holder to close and open). When you slide your phone in, it will automatically adjust to the size of your phone, and the rubber grips on the side hold the phone nice and snug (larger phones or phones with heavy cases are a little tight). There are two buttons at the bottom of the holder to release the phone when you are ready to remove it. The holder is large and sturdy enough to hold the phone, but does not obstruct your view through the windshield. Overall, it is a good little buy and I would recommend this product.
I am impressed with this wireless charger. It's well built, mount is versatile and a breeze to use. You will need a quick charge USB adapter (not included hence the 4 🌟's) to take advantage of its quick charge capabilities. I like the overall function of the arms opening when connected to a powered 12v source and then closing and securing the phone once you place it in. The magnetic release buttons are clever but one draw back with these buttons is, if you have a 12v source that turns off when the car is off, you have to remember to release the phone before turning the car off otherwise once the car is off the arms will not release and now your phone is the chargers prisoner. You will have to turn your car back on in order to release you phone. I am currently using it with my CD slot phone mount which leads me to believe that it might just be compatible with many mounts, ie.. extended arms, vent, cupholder, rearview mirror and so on. It does state the rotary ball is universal.
After spending time in national parks jumping in and out of my car to view scenic overlooks, spending significant time cabling and un-cabling my phone each time, I became convinced Qi charging was the way to go. After looking at some options that cost WAY more, I decided this one would be worth a shot. Found a coupon code, and pulled the trigger...
To make things perfectly clear, which the description does not : this unit uses a motorized clamp system to secure the phone before it charges. That's both a pro and a con. It grips the phone very securely compared to other car mounts – removing the phone without releasing the clamp takes some genuine effort. Being motorized, it's pretty heavy. It also requires power – which in my car means you can't insert or remove the phone without the key in Run or Acc position. This is pretty inconvenient for me so far but I expect I'll develop a routine as I get used to it.
My experience so far (only a few days) is that the "clamp on" works splendidly. The "clamp off" is a little finicky. To release the phone somewhat reliably, I place my finger on the bottom support and push upward. (taking the weight of the phone off the support)
The phone can NOT be easily mounted horizontally (landscape mode) because there will never be weight on the support which controls the clamping. It's best to start in portrait mode, and once the clamp has taken hold move it to the desired position.
The "360 degree" swivel mount is unexpectedly solid – I like it a lot. But I can't use it stuck to my windshield the way I want because the depth of the charger base interferes with the "ball" end of the mount which prevents a reasonable mounting angle from being achieved. I would consider using the "sticky circle" mounting, but I don't trust that in 180°F heat and haven't found a good place on my dash with a smooth and flat surface. Luckily, I have the parts from my old (non Qi) mount, and the suction-cup and "gooseneck" arm mate perfectly with the socket end of the charger base.
I am still experimenting with some mounting options, but don't have a lot of hope. I'm also considering wiring up an "always on" USB port to make this unit behave the way I'd like it to. But I'm going to wait and see how it holds up to heat and cold first before I go to that effort.
The Squish Wireless Car Charger comes nicely packaged & states it is equipped to be mounted on the Window or Dashboard. The “Quick Troubleshooting Guide” shows that it can be used with an Air Vent Clip, however one is not included with this unit. This can be a bit misleading as I thought that one might be included as shown in the picture. The Window/Dashboard option allow multiple positions which can be locked into place. It comes with a “Worry Free 12-Month Warranty” which is a nice plus. The Squish holds the phone automatically however you have to plug it in to power first in order for the holder to Open & Close. When you slide your phone in, it will automatically adjust to the size of your phone, and the rubber grips on the side hold the phone nice and snug. There are two buttons on the sides of the holder to release the phone when you are ready to remove it. Touching either of these will expand the arms so the phone can be removed. The unit must have power, which requires that the car is turned on in order to perform the release of the phone from the holder. Pretty good charger that really frees you from most tasks while driving. Now that the State I live in has strict hands free laws I had to find something made my morning free from the hassle of mounting and charging me cell phone without making me late for work. The "wireless" design solves the problem of having to find and plug in my charging cable every time I need to charge my phone. The hands free opening and closing works great, but is very sensitive and you have to learn not to inadvertently touching the buttons when near it. Only drawbacks are that the suction cup gives up occasionally, especially in the heat of the sunlight, which can be expected but hoped it wouldn't. The most annoying and major problem is when I go over bumps etc. the charger "thinks" I'm lifting up on the phone and will automatically release the side clips causing the phone to fall off the holder. Overall, I like it but thought about sending it back or purchasing something different because of that problem.
