I've had my eyes on this set for a while. When there was a lightning deal, my inner nerd had to get it!
The item was packaged in a sleek black cardboard box with foam cushioning. When it was delivered, Mars had slipped out of its slot and was rubbing against planet Earth, but no damage done. Each of the stones are super smooth, lovely to look at and hold. The stones selected to represent each planet are very appropriate. Jupiter (tiger's eye) and Neptune (cat's eye) are my favorites. The wood grain of the display board itself is gorgeous, too and complements the set nicely. Last, but not least, I appreciate the tip sheet that is included so you can identify what stone each planet is.

I am happy with this purchase. It is a gift. I have not yet given it to the recipient. I inspected each orb as well as the wooden base and noticed no flaws. The presentation box is also nice but you cannot remove the stickers without tearing the box, which is made of cardboard. Good.
They are just as beautiful as pictured and are a great statement piece for a coffee or end table
