This is great, I copied all my pictures and contacts, like a hard drive. Now my pictures are always saved and I can use this to go to store to make pictures. It’s like double back up system and so small, too.
Just what I expected. Easy to download pictures from my phone and store them elsewhere.
So, I don't understand why an app is necessary, but it works. Download the app, plug in the device, and open the app. At the photo tab, tap the 3 vertical dots at the top right and tap select, then select all, then at the bottom left is two half arrows pointing left and right: tap it, then copy to USB. I'm assuming it's the same for the other tabs.
The instructions that came with it aren't the best, but it's doable, considering I hate apple, don't use one, and did this for my wife who has an iPhone.
The other review that said the instructions are hard to follow is correct. When I tried to backup my photos the first time it didn't transfer them to the USB so I had to transfer around 400 photos and videos 5 photos at a time, and 1 video at a time. But once I did that, I formatted the USB on my computer and when I used it again to transfer more pics, I just pressed backup photos to USB and it did it all at once and quickly! So it does work, just takes a while to figure out.
Easy to back photos up from phone - have not tried on on iPad yet but hopefully it will move PDF files as well

I don't understand why I need to download an app to use this device.
I bought this to use in my journalism classroom so that students can easily take photos off their phone and upload into our program. I love the three in one design, and my students find it very easy to use. The only drawback is that in the app, selecting more than a few photos at a time to add to the USB causes it to either crash or only add some of the photos to the USB. Sometimes photos are not added to the USB when they are selected, even if it’s just one. Other than that this has been a lifesaver of a product.
