Just got the pack in today opened it and was really surprised with the quality of the backpack made very well ..heavy duty canvas camo and heavy duty stitching looks and feels likes its going to last me a long while .would recommend this pack to any of my buddies looking for a daily pack to carry everyday things with them or even to use camping ..very nice back pack impressed will definitely have to buy another one in black ..
I've always find myself forgetting something after the trip started, and this backpack has so many pockets that helped me to get everything I need loaded. and the space between pockets were designed very well. from outside, it does not look to be super big, yet indeed it can hold lots of things, and shoulder strap was comfortable as well. not tight not loose. so far it seems to be pretty sturdy, and I will keep updating if I run into any issues. happy with this purchase
Got this backpack for my eight years old’s seven day camp. It has two large compartments, an attached sleeve to put your computer, and two removable smaller bags. It has good quality large zippers. It fits seven days of changing clothes including 2 shorts, 3 pants, 7 short sleeves, 3 long sleeves, 7 underwear and socks, 2 extra pair of shoes, a notebook and a pack of markers, and other small items.

i have a 5.11 rush 24 and i gotta say this bag is not shabby at all. i like the adjustable straps for the shoulders you can adjust it in 2 different places so if your large or skinny like me its gonna be a good comfy fit. i bought this as my wife's shtf bag. and camping bag. it really hasn't been going a lot of places yet but i do know it can hold a lot of stuff. its very comfy i would go as far as to say its even more comfy than my 5.11. because of the straps it really can adjust to your liking. it has a nice back too so it sits well up against you. the zippers seem nice and the bag is nice quality. the only thing i dis like about the bag is the lack of compartments that my 5.11 has. its no a deal breaker by any means especially for this price. it does have the out side molle pouches already and a few pockets on the molle pouch so there is some organization. also there is a net pouch inside the bag and a soft inside side pouch against the back you could use for a bladder or armor. really impressed with it for the price. its not full yet still working on filling this one up but its getting there.

I've been eyeing a military backpack for about a year. This was a great choice at the right price. All of the exterior compartments come off and can be used separately from the backpack. There is plenty of velcro for patches and the like. The buckles were good quality. The part that presses on the back is well cushioned as are the straps. Speaking of straps, it has straps that go around the front mid-section in case you are running or hiking with it.
I rarely give 5 star reviews, but this backpack surpassed my expectations, and made me look like a hero in my teen's eyes. lol

Revised: So the folks at G4Free saw my displeasure and reached out and offered to replace the pack, even though it was out of warranty. They say they've been in contact with the manufacturer about the quality of the pack itself and suggest that the issue has been resolved. So, I will see. However, given that, and more importantly, given the proactive and great quality of the service that followed, I have revised my original review and star rating.

Absolute garbage. In November 2015, I bought this for my son, filled with emergency stuff / SHTF stuff to keep in his car. After only 6 months of literally doing nothing but being tucked in the back corner of his trunk, he pulled it out and one of the straps ripped off. The top strap broke as well, and, get this, NOT at the seam, but actually the middle of the "military" strap, as in the actual strap itself is, like, disintegrating. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, this is garbage, garbage, garbage.
This backpack was purchased for carry-on use on aircraft. My wife took it on a flight and loves it. An unexpected plus was that if it is not packed full, the top portion will fold back making it easy to put under the seat ahead. I checked it out carefully before she used it. It doesn't have the highest grade nylon but it appears to be strong and water resistant. The stitching is well anchored and withstood tugging and jerking by me. If all continues as on first use, this product will definitely be a 5-star very economical buy.
This is a 5 star pack for my use as an advanced first aid kit. I removed the upper bag and attached 2 vertical pouches for more compartmental storage. The largest pocket has a couple dividers and one is padded and could be used as a laptop pouch other divider is mesh. There is a second large zippered pocket as well, as big as the main pocket in height and width and about half the depth. The 2 external pouches are nice and the larger comes with a shoulder strap to act as a satchel when separated from the main bag. Price was incredible for the material quality. Only complaint I could have is if I were to EDC this bag the shoulder straps are held with buckels on the upper and lower parts, the padded sections are not sown directly to the bag like a normal pack would be. If I were to carry this daily I would sow the exess webbing after the buckels to prevent slipping and retain it's placement.
I purchased this for my step son who is very rough on things. He takes many two or three day trips very often and it holds all he needs. Let me tell you, if this boy can't destroy this bad boy it has got to be tough. I bought it on sale through Amazon. After pricing similar items I felt a little guilty. I felt as though I had taken advantage of Amazon.The price was incredible! I carry a back pack every day of my life. When the one I have now gives up, I WILL own one !
This backpack does something that most can't. It has two tall, thin main pockets instead of one large one. This allows items to stay in place and even better, it allows you to stack things in such a way that the bag doesnt bunch up and bulge out. The front pockets are Molle format and removable. So far, straps are holding up and not falling apart. Side straps allow you to cinch up bag and also keep it from bulging out. My only complaint is I wish the straps had a longer padded portion.
