Great!It heats the whole room ,it below freezing outside and the room is 72 all through the room. doesn't make a sound. can't even hear it cycle. Feel lot's of heat coming out all around the panel and though out the room. Couldn't be better. Don't know how much power it's using, on days not as cold it works good on low. Highly recommended.
Heater is very nice looking. I'm used to using the Micathermic heaters with remote and can no longer find the model I've used in the past. I chose this heater over any other based on reviews especially because of the remote. It heats well and cuts down to the ambient room temperature when needed. It doesn't run "hot" all night. However it is very difficult to get started with it. The operating directions are worthless. They need to simplify them. So I just started pushing the "buttons" until I figured out the right pattern and now can turn it on fairly simply, but still screwing it up on & off. Over all, despite it's odd ball startup, I do like it.

It did not have any screws loose as some people had with THIER order. This was supposed to replace 2 other defective "mica" heaters. I hope I will be fairly treated after they receive the 2 returns. Anyway it seems to be working correctly but the remote is small and directions are hard for me to understand as to how it exactly works. It looks nice even though it looks more like a TV than a heater. It takes a while to heat up the room. The mica heaters do a better job of heating but I won't buy another one.
It is better than the fan's heating. The fan's heating sound is very loud. This kind of heating has no sound. The fan is heated very fast. This kind of heating is still waiting for a long time, but the effect of heat preservation is better than that of the fan.
