I have a dog that I feed outside and his food is kept in a large metal bin. I can't say how many times I've had to move it or even throw it away because the ants always end up finding it. I had tried the old trick with turmeric spray and it works but wears off in a single rain, not to mention it stains skin and clothing. I tried this stuff and it works exactly as it says it will. Stays on through the rain and I haven't had one single solitary ant make it into the bin since the first application on the lower outside half of the bin. I would definitely purchase this again. It is extremely sticky so I suggest wearing rubber gloves when you spray it on. Also, it seems to last and last. I've only applied a little more because of ants and general detritus getting stuck on it. As a side benefit it seems like mosquitoes are actually attracted to it. I would estimate easily 10,000 mosquitoes have become glued to the outside of the bin, way more of them dead than ants actually.

I live in Florida and we have a bad problem with biting yellow flies. I found that by spraying a beach ball with black paint and the spray wit tangle foot it has greatly reduced the biting problem. Yellow flies are attracted to moving things, black attracts them as well. So when you hang the ball on a string the wind moves it around and they go for it, getting stunk on the ball from the tangle foot. I had probably over 50 flies in less than a hour stuck on the first ball I hung out. It works! My niece is a Park Ranger and she told me this trick , they use it at the State Park as well...highly recommend this product!

We have a bad yellow fly/deer fly problem every year in June/July. Made some big black beach balls and sprayed with Tangle Trap. WOW. LOTS of yellow flies that won't bite me anymore! This stuff works great and lasts a long time.

Have used tangle foot for many years, especially at the ground level of poles used for hummer feeders to discpurage ants. The spray is a super easy way to apply it. Adheres well to metal & no ants!

Very easy to use. I always used the tangle foot in a can that required the use of an applicator. It generally got on my hands and created a big mess. The spray can avoids the mess, and goes much farther than you might think, looking at the size if the can. I highly recommend this product.

Description

Want to know what’s invading your garden before it’s too late? Now you can trap and monitor pests without the use of harmful pesticides with Tangle-Trap. Tangle-Trap Coatings are ready to use and will remain sticky until covered with insects or foreign matter. Use Tangle-Trap to re-coat existing traps or create custom traps and protect your garden.

We had a serious gypsy moth caterpillar invasion. I duct taped 3 "rings" of duct tape around the trees and sprayed this on top. My husband was skeptical that it wouldn't be thick enough, but the caterpillars refused to walk on it, hung out below where they could either starve or be sucked up by the mighty shop vac.
One can worked for about 8 large oaks. Saved our trees. Will be using every year.

I use this product to coat the front and back of yellow party plates to make large inexpensive fungus gnat traps. I used to use the Tanglefoot in the 32 oz can - never again. With this spray I can make 10 traps in the time it take to make one using the canned stuff. Gnats, flies and fruit flies all get stuck to my home made traps. This is a great money and time saving product.

I've used the brush on version and now the spray on and the spray on version is so much easier to apply - and less messy. We have a deer fly and horse fly problem and I use this product on blue solo cups and black balls and it works! I haven't gotten rid of them totally but I've made a dent in their population!

I have had a terrible problem trying to grow zucchini in my garden because of the squash vine borer. I sprayed yellow plastic solo cups with the Tanglefoot and put them on sticks around my garden. I couldn't believe the number of squash vine borers that stuck to the cups, along with lots of other pests. I only found one bumble bee that somehow got stuck, so it seems safe for the "good" bugs. Definitely a good product and you don't need much.

Perfect to keep those pesky squirrels at bay! They hate to get their feet sticky so this works for what I needed it for. Thanks!
