Got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it! He has a hard time waking up early and this alarm has definitely helped. It works just as it was intended and looks good. I would definitely recommend! We especially love the time projector and the phone charger option.

They only thing i noticed yesterday when i got home is that the last 2 #s of the projection is a lil blurry not as clear as the first # on the clock the first day i got it and installed it it was working fine. i dont really use the radio just needed the clock
The alarm works great
I bought this clock radio for one reason: I have always wanted a clock that would project the time onto the ceiling so I didn’t have to turn on my side at night to see the time. As I write that sentence, I’m a bit chagrined at the deep extent of my laziness, but I still wanted it.
The unit is an attractive, trim, white, compact clock radio with a big clear time display. It looks good on the shelf at my bedside. The red digits of the time projected onto the ceiling are clear and easy to read.
Opening the box, we find the radio, a detachable power cord, and a small instruction manual.
The small instruction manual, as with all manuals for Asian-made electronic wonders, was written by a non-native English speaker. Translations in these situations often prove to be the source of endless amusement at the awkward phrasing. Not so here. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. The accompanying drawings and graphics are also clear and helpful.
Looking at the radio unit itself, we see its top surface populated with a row of buttons with cryptic labels. There are also two more buttons on one end of the unit. Many of the buttons have multiple functions, based on the mode the unit is in when you push them. You'll need a little study with the easy-to-understand manual to figure things out. I found that for the things I plan to use the unit for, it isn't hard to figure out the buttons and their functions. I don't plan, for instance, to use the favorite radio station settings, so I can skip learning the multi-button technique for setting the favorites. If you are a more ambitious user, you might need to keep the little instruction manual handy till you learn all the button sequences needed for the more exotic functions.
But on with the setup. First and most important is to set the time. I had a little trouble with this at first. The manual says to “press SET TIME/MEMM+ button to maintain 12:00 flash on display.” I had a little trouble with that; holding that button initiated a countdown from 60. A quick press didn’t give the desired result. After trying a few things, a short press got the blinking noon display. From there it was simple.
Projection to ceiling: The time is projected onto the ceiling from a small unit on one end of the radio unit. It swivels so you can aim the projection to just the right place on your ceiling. I was a little worried, because the place the radio sits next to my bed is on a bookshelf, which has a shelf directly above the radio, which would block any projection straight up overhead. I aimed it out just a bit, and it works beautifully. The projection is controlled by a three-way button. Push once to turn on the projection at bedtime (you don't need it running all day). Push the button again, and turns the numbers on the ceiling 180 degrees, or upside-down. Thus, wherever you need to put the radio, you can set the image on the ceiling to be easily readable. Push the button again to turn it off. The little projection unit even has a focusing ring, so you can tighten up the focus on the ceiling. In my bedroom setup, the numbers are close to a foot high on the ceiling, easily readable with my glasses off.
Time Display: I really like the big, bluish digits on the time display on the radio. They are big enough for my old, feeble eyes to see from across the room. The shade of blue is relaxing. It has a dimmer switch, which turns the display much dimmer for use with the lights off. If left undimmed, it's too bright for the bedside. Dimmed, it's perfect. It doesn't light up the space around it, but can be seen in the dark. Undimmed, it’s perfect for use in daylight.
Radio: The radio has good reception and good sound. With all the multi-frequency radio wave things going on in my house (wifi, cell signals, remote controls), AM reception is a problem with most radios. I even bought a special radio a few years ago that had special filtering stuff built in to augment and improve the AM reception. This one, at least in the bedroom spot I chose to use it, gets good AM reception without problems. It has AM and FM bands and a search feature to advance to the next station while skipping frequencies with no stations on them. You can also set favorite stations for quick recall.
Alarm: It has two alarms with a nine-minute snooze feature. (I prefer a five-minute lag, but nine is OK.) With the snooze feature, you can set the radio to play for a pre-set number of minutes, then turn itself off. You can set the alarms to buzz or to play the radio at alarm time. It also has a sleep timer to play the radio while you fall asleep, then it turns itself off after the selected time runs out. You can set it in ten-minute increments from 90 minutes down to 10 minutes.
Battery backup: It takes two AAA batteries (which are not included), which function only to keep the clock alive when the power goes out. If the power goes out during the night, you'll still get your alarm in the morning at the correct time. The drawback to this is that you can't show up late to work explaining that the power went out and the failure of your alarm clock let you oversleep. Oh, well.
USB: There's a USB charging port, just in case you need another one.
Overall: I am very happy and satisfied with this clock radio. I bought it for the time projection onto the ceiling, but it turns out to be a very robust clock radio as well.
I love the black background and white numbers/letters of this clock and a lot of other Clock radios or Alarm clock don't have this type of LCD, with others at night you get bright backlight from black background which make it look gray but not this one.
Love the projection of it that I can project the time on the ceiling or wall and further the wall is bigger it will get so I actually project it to the wall which is about 12' farther and it look huge and and not too bright either which I like.
The clock has 3 different brightness level and I wish it was automatic where day time it would go to max and night time to lowest, also the projector I wish there was option where it would go off daytime and turn on automatically at night but not a big deal I can change it manually if I need to. It's Alarm can be set to wake me up with a radio station or normal alarm that starts alarming with a low volume and slowing increases so it won't scare me in the morning with a very loud alarm from the start. LOL
Received this product and was exactly as per the given description. Setup is a very easy and a breeze. The product quality is good and its a durable product. As for the features, projecting the time is sometime nice for me to have, since it helps me in the morning, no more checking phone or looking for alarm clocks. The product came with everything ready to go. Overall a good quality and a durable product.

Love this time projection clock. It's sleek design doesn't take up a lot of table space and the illumination is crisp and clear on our vaulted ceiling. Now when I wake up in the middle of the night I no longer have to sit up to see what time it is, which wakes up the dogs, which means I'm up! Great value for the price. You won't be disappointed!
I first bought another brand, it was defective right out of the box, I returned it and switch to this one. It has a better appearance, I like its large teal color clock digits yet is not overly bright, the red projection number is easily readable. I'm happy with this clock.
High quality radio. I bought this radio as a gift for someone else but before passing it on I decided to try it out for a few days to make sure it was the quality I expected, Easy to program. Numerals large enough to see. Three brightness levels also a plus. I have decided to get another one for myself.
You know what the most dangerous game is? Close your eyes after turning off your alarm! Sorry that I just have to share this joke I saw on facebook. The major reason I bought this alarm is its projector, so I leave my alarm in the bathroom on purpose and have the light projection on my bedroom ceiling, that way I get to see the time immediately, and force myself to get up to turn off the alarm in the bathroom.
Nice ! Gave as a gift to my Mother. Great projection on the ceiling. The only thing I would change is..... it should also show PM on the clock and ceiling. It shows AM only. I ordered it for my mom because she struggles with day and night as she is older.
