Bought this camera and monitor to simplify the process of hitching a trailer to my old truck by myself. Installation was made easy by virtue of the wireless connection between camera and monitor, and the kit provides sufficient different mounting and wiring options for powering the monitor to make it suitable to a variety of vehicles. The included self stick adhesive pads work very well for monitor and wireless transmitter mounting, although I did add a couple of zip ties to the wireless transmitter mounting, since it is out in the weather, underneath the truck bed. The Intelligent Switch feature of the camera works great for setup, but be careful not to misplace the instructions. The camera and monitor combo work great, both day and night, as you can see in the attached photos, much better than a more expensive system I've installed in my car, and I'm able to angle the camera down low enough to see the truck's hitch ball and the trailer hitch as I back the truck into position. I'm very satisfied. This does exactly what I wanted it to do.
I wanted a camera system on my van just so I could see behind me prior to backing up. I had originally installed a wired system temporarily, which worked very well but was going to be a pain to conceal all the wiring. This system cured that problem! There is an easy power hookup for the monitor, plugs right into the auxiliary port, and several options for the camera power. I chose to hook the camera to reverse lights power so monitor would only come on when reversing. This is nice because I didn’t need a constant picture. There is a short 1-2 second delay from the time you put car into reverse until the time you see a picture on screen, not an issue at all. The system works perfectly and for the price, you can’t go wrong. Another bonus—great customer service!

this wireless system took only 30 minutes to test and install to my Nissan Frontier truck. I have connect the transmitter
to reverse light and then connect to back up camera which I have putted on the tail gate. I have putted monitor on the
dash board and test the shift to the reverse to see the video image. It is paired automatically, without any problem.
there are three buttons on the back of the monitor I can adjust brightness, contrast, and others as you see on the video.
The dongle switch, I have not figured out yet. While the instruction manual is not detailed enough for me to understand, so I will spend more time to figure out how to use the dongle switch. Sorry but the description of the
instruction manual is not good enough for me to understand.
Overall this wireless back up camera is very good for the money. The price I have paid is little over than double of the
regular wired back up camera, this wireless back up camera is well worth for the easiness of installation. Highly recommended. I shall buy again to install for my other family car.
A few months after having cervical spine surgery, the doctors gave me the ok to drive. It was a challenge turning around and looking around on intersections but a nightmare to back up the car or drive in reverse because I loss like 30 degrees of motion, preventing me to fully use the rotation needed when backing up that is 90 degrees approx. It was horrible and very challenging. Didn’t know what to do anymore when one day, a good friend recommended a backup camera for my old car so I looked around and found these online for a lot cheaper that others were and Amazon its always great If I encounter any problem so I took the bullet. I’m not good at all installing stuff like this but I needed the camera so I watched a video on YouTube that they recommended and in all honesty, it just help me a bit but not much with installation. I watched a few more videos and knew I needed to ask the friend for help installing the camera. It was fairly easy for him to remove the panel that gives you access to the reverse lights and hooked it up there to have the camera working with the reverse light. Let me tell you something, No more pain in the neck! It’s a little on the bulky side for my car but I don’t care, it works much better than my wife’s SUV’s factory camera and the monitor picture quality is great. These cameras and monitors are solidly built and heavy. They are perfect for RV’s, trucks, SUV’s and cars if you don’t mind that they’re on the biggie side. The wireless is working beautifully so far. The camera is on the inside of the car attached with a velcro in case I switch the car in the future. Also, if you have another car, you can get another camera and just move the monitor from one car to the other no problem. You can also have two cameras on a split screen or switch between them. And last but not least, they’re super bright at night! The seller also hooked me up with some gifts, including a suction cup to attached the monitor to the windshield! So far I’m pretty happy but will update if something goes awry.
I had purchased another backup system that worked really nicely, but for anyone with not a lot of time on their hands (like me), it was going to be a time consuming endeavor to install, at least on my particular vehicle, a mobility van. This unit is “wireless” - meaning there are no wires needed between the camera and the monitor. There are still a positive and ground to hookup for power at each device, although the monitor has a quick plug for cigarette lighter, making hookup very easy. But that’s not the best part, once powered and paired, this 7” monitor is very bright and sharp. Not muddy looking like many of them are. There are several mounting configurations for the monitor as well. The excellent camera is rated well above the norm, although I have yet to test it in wet weather conditions, it is claimed to be IP69! I have zero complaints about this system. Very good product!

I purchased this camera with no idea if it would work for what I needed. I wanted a camera in the rear inside compartment of my 40 ft horse trailer in order to keep an eye on my horses while traveling. I was not sure if the wireless signal would be strong enough to travel from the camera (inside the trailer) to the receiver/monitor (inside the vehicle). Turns out the signal strength is great! I was pleasantly surprised to see an optional antennae mounted on a magnetic base in the package though, in case the signal was weak. Installation was a breeze. I had it totally installed and ready to travel in less than 30 minutes. That time includes aiming the camera and re-installing the panel in the trailer that covered the trailer wires. I wired into my tail lights so the camera is on all the time as long as the taillights are on. Would I purchase this unit again? Absolutely, it seems well made with sturdy components. I plan on adding a second camera for the front compartment of the trailer. Great product & couldn't be happier to find a use for this camera that was not intended for it.
This is the second backup camera I buy from this company. Just like the first one. It works great right after I hooked it up. This time I installed it on the Toyota Venza for my relative and it’s a little quicker. Thanks to good instructions. All wires are labeled and easy to identify. It’s wireless, the only thing you have to do is connect the camera wires to the backup lights and then hook up the monitor to receive wireless signal. That is all.

I bought this unit to use as a rear view monitor for a 12 foot cargo trailer that I was pulling across the country from NY to CO.
I installed it above the tailgate on the trailer and connected the power lead to the marker lights on the trailer.
I used the included suction cup mount to mount the monitor to the windshield in my pickup truck.
The unit worked very well over the 2,200 mile drive, providing a clear view behind the trailer, augmenting the side view mirrors.
A few times the signal dropped in dense urban areas due to interference from nearby vehicles, but as soon as they passed the picture returned without any intervention on my part.
The picture was crystal clear and the signal was quite strong, as indicated by the icon in the upper right corner of the monitor.
I did not really use the night vision capability, as I generally quit driving before dark.
Overall I am delighted with this purchase and would strongly recommend this product.
I'm very inpressed by the high quality of this wireless system. It was very easy to install. I love that you can add an additional wireless camera, which I did. I bought the system for my 5th wheel RV and my truck. I have the main wireless camera on the back of my 5th wheel RV and the second on my truck mounted on the toolbox so I can see my 5th wheel hitch to perfectly align it for quick connection. The night vision video is outstanding too! The company support is awesome; I called to ask for the additional suction cup mount for monitor; due to the set up in my truck, which it states in the directions that if you want it they will send it to you free. I'm actually kicking around the idea of buying an additional system to monitor the interior of my RV while we travel down the road, and if I add an additional camera to that I could mount it to the front of my truck for parking/ turning clearances.

I have installed this heavy duty camera on rear tailgate for testing as you see on the photo, the monitor is 7 inch
with very vivid picture and easy to use as you see on the video. As I really like this system, I want to move the
camera to the tail gate of my trailer then install the video cable to the hitch of the trailer. One of the stressful
of operating the trailer is the rear view of the trailer to park in to the driveway. I have communicate with the seller
to get additional video cable to install to the hitch of my Frontier so that I can connect 4 pin Video connector by
just push in and screw tight then it is water resistant secured connection. Easy to disconnect after the usage of the
trailer. This is the first part of my product review on the Frontier Truck. as I receive the replacement 4 pin video cable,
I will do the test with my trailer and upload the video to this product review. Installation is easy, the quality of the
camera is heavy duty Aluminum body, monitor has very vivid color and easy to operate. This is highly recommended
heavy duty back up system for full time operation for Trucks, Bus especially for the trailers.
As I have received extension cable with 4 pin connector from Camera to Monitor, I have install Camera at rear end of
the Trailer and cable to hitch. Then I have hitched the trailer to my Nissan Frontier with connecting the 4 pin video
cable. After the all connection was made I have just tried hitched trailer in my parking lot as you see on the video.
It is so easy to back up to make position the trailer in right angle.
Sorry for the unstable camera work. The view is so nice. This is really the great product.
