Tried it on very tough flax seeds (food processor couldn't do it). Voila! Very fine dust. Did some tough grains (millet) and again, reduced to dust. Clear cover that snaps on stainless bowls keeps everything tightly within. The outer lid is used to push down to start the motor. Noise is quieter than plastic coffee grinders. I like that you can see inside to see when to stop.
Manual is pretty complete. The single blade is for hard foods, the double blade is for softer foods. Since you cannot disassemble the blade unit from the bowls, you can put in baking soda and run it to clean it up. I figure I'll use soapy water for the wet grinds as one would a blender.
The only weird thing is the logo isn't centered on the unit as if that mattered to me.
So far I like this. I have ground coffee beans, almonds, sunflower seeds, walnuts and pumpkin seeds and herbs. I tried to grind dried figs with almonds, a fig got stuck under the blade and bogged down the motor but it still works good. But i no longer put dried figs in it
Fresh coffee is very important to me. So, I spent a good amount of time researching a variety of grinders by different brands and this one has turned out to be a real winner. The 2.8 ounce size capacity makes grinding coffee a breeze. The design makes it quick and easy to use. And, the durable stainless steel design looks to last for a very long time. I'm confident this grinder will last for several years. At $20 the price can't be beat either...I've looked!
I'll be buying a second one of these grinder for grinding my spices... really soon!!
It came with Two Detachable 2.8 Ounce Capacity Cups, one I use for grinding Non-GMO sugar, and the other for spices.
The motor is so much stronger than my previous 'Mr. Coffee Grinder' and its so easy to use.
Product is quiet enough, grinds well, is a blade grinder not a burr grinder … stainless steel cup avoids the frustrating static cling of grounds in the plastic cup grinders. There is no timer or adjustment for different grind quality or quantity of coffee beans … Fine, Coarse, etc... it's a Trial and Error guessing game every pot. We use French Press, so we need it less ground .. but it's better than having coffee grounds electrically charged and flying all over the countertop each day!

This is an awesome coffee bean grinder. It is very easy to use and clean and grinds the coffee beans up into fine coffee very fast. Maybe five to ten seconds is all it takes. The unit itself is very sturdy and made out of metal instead of plastic. The only plastic parts on it are the lid to the bean canister and then the cover which you push down on to get it to grind. Very easy to use and clean. Highly recommended versus the plastic ones or manual grind models out there. The plastic one I had finally broke and I did a lot of looking before deciding on this model. Very glad I did and it seems like it will last a long time.
Works well for grinding finger and garlic for curries, or making curry pastes. The wet container does leak a little bit if left sitting. Does a good job grinding dry spices as well. Strong motor, pretty quiet. Good purchase.
My husband uses this every day for his French press. He LOVES it. The beans are ground to espresso texture in 5 seconds. It’s powerful and not super loud, which is great.

Well built unit that seems better than the others I have tried. Have burned out a few grinding pills for animal feed and this unit is holding up really well. The second cup allows me to easily use it to grind coffee. All around happy with purchase
