I usually wear a medium but had to send back for a large because they are very small. Even a large was a bit snug but they fit well enough. I am 5'8 150 lbs and with a big butt. They are a decent length (my butt didn't hang out) but on the shorter side. They are super cute though and worked well for my trip to Maui!
