Was impressed by how easy it was to install and the quality of the LEDs definitely worth the money reverse lights were very bright now I no longer need to buy additional lights for the back
I installed this 6 function light strip on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. (the reverse wire is white with the lighter green tracer for anyone else installing on an '04 ram) I haven't seen it at night yet, but it's bright enough to see from hundreds of feet away in broad daylight. I purchased this for not only the look, but also because my third brake light is shorted out and I have to replace the bulb weekly. The peace of mind is worth more than the $30 I spent on this and the hour it took me to figure out how to wire the reverse light. I'll add pics and potentially drop my review to 1 star if the leds start going out like 99% of these light strips do.
I GOT THESE FOR MY DAD, HE LOVES THEM AND THEY ARE SUPER BRIGHT, HES HAD THEM SINCE X-MAS, NO ISSUES, NO BURNED OUT LEDS.
Easy installation. Nice bright lights provide great nighttime visibility for breaking and turning.
Had it hardwired by my local Best Buy store and associate Kirk. It works perfectly and looks great.

(1)Question: How do I know whether it's suitable for my car?
It's universal, but measure the area you're going to put it such as tailgate in first before ordering it.
And then make sure the power voltage of your car is between DC 10V-16V
(2)Question: How to install this? Do you have to screw it into the car?
Answer: No screws necessary. It has a sticky tape already in place. Just remove the paper covering and stick in place.
Then, you can refer to the picture 5 to connect the wire. Or if still something confuses you, you can search
the keyword "how to install tailgate light" on YouTube to find some videos to know how to install it .

Was super easy to install. Looks and works great!! If you mount it to low you can see individual LEDs but mount it higher just behind the lip on the bottom of the tailgate and you get a nice seamless look from the ambient glow.
LIKES: The product is easy to install. The LEDs seem bright. Appears to have good waterproofing with red & white LEDs. I spent time preparing the surface before applying the double-sided tape and it has good adhesion. I did not use the clips.
DISLIKES: The wires from the strip to the trailer connector are very light gauge. I wrapped them with electrical tape for extra protection, but would have preferred to have some cable wrap available. I think a heavier gauge wire might delay future problems.
LIGHTS ARE FLY
Shipped quickly, easy to install. One good tip I picked up, instead of connecting the reverse wire to your tail light just get a 5-way pin, place a pin on the reverse wire and it will easily slide into the 5th pin for your reverse lights ;-)
I used the plug and didn't hardwire this one (I hardwired the same brand, but shorter 49" on my tacoma). The light is still functioning nicely after several months. By using the plug and only hardwiring the back-up light, the install was really quick and easy.
