Bought the temp/humdity combo controller. Very functional and easy to understand the flowcharts, it can seem overwhelming at first. Play around with it before hooking it up to your final application; put the probes in different exposures (blowing on the humidity probe with a deep warm breath or lightly blowing will cause rH to up or down, respectively, likewise holding the temp probe or cooling it off in ice water). Mess around with it, you'll get it. Took me about an hour. It's well worth it. I intend to use the temp probe on work 1 to control a seedling mat while rH probe on work 2 will control a fan.
This controller is very easy to set up and use. I use it to control temperature and humidity in a small indoor greenhouse for mushrooms. Once you get the locations for the sensors it is a set & forget type of device, making things a lot easier. It allows you to glance at the display for current conditions while it controls the on/off operations as programmed.
I recommend this product for anyone interested in an automated solution.
I got this inkbird to control my TRUE GDM-12 that I have convert it in a Beef dry-ager. This controls my compressor just by plugging it in. In addition, I can plug in a humidifier to keep the humidity just right. This has been the best purchase and I would recommend to anyone building their own ager.
Fantastic product that was recommended by a friend. Has helped me significantly with controlling the temp of my new mushroom grow! Very easy to setup and fantastic product. Don't need to monitor my setup much anymore, saves me a ton of time and effort.
This is a great unit. It does what it’s supposed to do and the temperature is accurate right out of the box. I have it running a fermentation chamber for brewing beer and so far I have no complaints. It has the ability to stay within +/-1 degree fluctuation and has a Compressor protection delay, which are important for me. The form factor is large but that’s because it’s able to run much higher wattage than I need.

Bought this thermostat as a backup to shut off our honey bottlers when temps get above a critical temperature. Our bottlers hold 500 lbs of honey and the honey needs to be heated just enough to allow it to pour freely, but if temps get too high the honey is ruined. We recently lost $900 worth of product when the built-in thermostat failed and allowed the honey to get wayyyyy too hot. This Inkbird controller has a wired probe which we taped to the outside of the bottler behind a pad of paper towel, and with the bottler's heater plugged in to the controller, it acts as a brake to shut off the heater at whatever temp we set and allows a range of degrees before turning on again. Works very well so far and we have purchased two more of these to protect our other bottlers. Seems well made and solid. This unit is one of the few that has the higher amperage needed for these heating units that draw 1700-1800W. Due to that power draw, we need one for each unit. The second outlet is not so you can plug in multiple devices: One of the outlets controls heating (shuts off when temp probe rises to a set high temp); the second outlet controls cooling (shuts off when temp probe drops to a set low temp).
I’ve been dry aging beef for a bit over a year but want to start curing meats in a controlled environment. I’ve been testing the unit before actually loading it with salami. So far it has done everything asked of it. The accuracy seems to be good and the compressor delay is nice. I’m hoping to update this with photos soon.
I am using the Inkbird ITC-608T with a chest freezer for fermenting beer. Right away I discovered a 3 degree difference in temperature when compared to my other temperature control unit. I checked this with a known accurate thermometer and found the Inkbird ITC-608T was correct and accurate out of the box. Setup is easy and the unit appears to be very well made. If you are on the fence about this product go ahead and pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed.
The temperature and humidity controller by Inkbird is easy to use and is constructed very well. The probes seem to be of good quality. The instruction manual is a bit lengthy, but all the details are accurate, and the controller is very easy to set up. Great controller for the money!
Converted an old commercial fridge to a hot box. I used this with a cheap electric hot plate. We had another brand. The white ones. They worked great in my hrdroponic garden, but i needed more watts. Stupid me a blew the other out. This one has the watts i need. But more than than. What i like is how easy and simple it is to program. Its really easy like s home Thermostat is easy. Different. But the same in that they’re both very easy. The other one you had to go through a series of menus it was very complicated so if I buy anymore I’m gonna buy this even though it’s a little more expensive the simplicity makes it worth it
