I have not experienced the problems some are writing about. Occasionally the open end of the bag must be repositioned in the sealing area to draw a vacuum but that really is not a big deal. I have had no problem sealing either dry or wet packages. Have also used it to reseal heat sealed packages from the grocery store like cheese slices or bags of nuts...
Although this is cheaper than others, it works perfectly fine. No bells and whistles, but performs better than many pricier models.
I returned a FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer FM5200 2-in-1 System Plus Starter Kit which was absolutely the worst and saved a ton of money to boot.
I bought this to replace my foodsaver brand vacuum sealer which just stopped working out of nowhere. This sealer kicks the other sealers butt. Its efficient since it has a place for the roll of bags, it has a moist button for marinated freezing and it has a cutter built in . Theres not enough nice things I could say. Highly recommend !!
I didnt know how to use it but it wasn't hard to learn or figured out. Purchases came with a bag and accessories didnt get to use everything made four bag and seal them. Not sure of what to do with it yet will update. So far it seem good
I have only used the sealer twice. The first time it worked perfectly. The second time, not so much. It did not vacuum completely. Was a little disappointed.

This is just for home use... Now you need to buy different bags than just trying the ones that come with it... THEY DO NOT WORK... I included the pic of extra bags that I ordered the same time I did the sealer... ONG Y'ALL I HAVE VACUUM SEALED everything in this house...lol... It's fun and easy... I highly recommend it... Hard to believe at that price too... I bought 2 cases of strawberries and it didn't mess up at all...

This vacuum sealer is so easy to work, but there is two key points. 1) Before vacuum and seal, pls make sure you have closed the lid. When you hear the sound of “Pa” , means that the lid is closed. 2) When press the button of ”vac seal”, you need to wait the light of “seal” and “vac seal” to be off together, then the operation of vacuum and seal is over, you can take the bags out.
