Arrows and Sparrows 4-Pack Cloth Pocket Diapers with 4 Bamboo Inserts

I was interested in trying cloth diapering, but totally overwhelmed with where to start. Too much research left me super confused and worried about all that could go wrong. I decided once I got going I'd leave a long review to help other newbies out.

Diaper lingo is so confusing and there are so many options and so many brands, and can we talk about how ugly most of them are? I mean seriously ugly! But then I stumbled on Nora's Nursery...THESE PRINTS!! Call me shallow, but I definitely jumped in for the adorable designs and amazing price. I was stuck for a month deciding between Nora's Nursery and Mama Koala (who seemed comparable). Nora's Nursery has the CUTEST cloth diapers you will find, hands down. Mama Koala is like playing a game of when the prints you want will be back in stock. I don't have time for that. Every time I checked Nora's Nursery on amazon or their website for the prints I wanted, they were available.

I bought just four of Nora's Nursery to start with to try it for a day, see if I could handle the poop situation, and how the absorption is, and learning a wash routine. Guys... it's easy peasy!

Poop. Get a bucket, take your dirty diaper to your utility sink, spray that sucker off into the bucket, leave the diaper soak in oxiclean, and dump the nasty water into the toilet. It's not even gross.

Absorption. Everyone talks about their kid being a"heavy wetter" . I thought my baby was... she blows through those dumb disposables so fast! Well these bamboo inserts are amazing! I haven't had any leaks yet, and I promise you I had leaks with disposables all the time.

Wash routine. Nora's Nursery literally sends you a mini manual on how to care for your cloth diapers. Very helpful. Just pre rinse on cold, wash on warm/hot with a good detergent, and rinse again if needed. You can even throw a load of clothes in to save energy (on the wash cycle, not pre rinse). To extend the life of your diapers it's recommended to not use vinegar in your wash routine as it wears your diapers out faster, and to line dry in the sun as much as possible. As a bonus the sun helps remove stains. :) Personally, I dry the inserts with a load of clothes, and hang the covers.

Extras. Nora's Nursery has a blog with helpful information as well as a facebook page. I've already messaged them to ask dumb questions, and they've been very helpful and quick to reply. Their customer service is great!

If you're thinking about cloth diapering, don't be overwhelmed. Just do it! I promise you'll love this brand, but if nothing else your baby will look adorable. :)

When I was making the decision to go cloth and seeking brand advice, I found Nora's Nursery. I nor the people recommending brands had never heard of them before. However, they had amazing reviews so I thought I'd take a chance. I'm so happy I did! We have 25 and that's the perfect amount. I wash every other day and stuff the inserts the next day. I went back to work this week and haven't had trouble keeping up at all. We went of town last weekend and had to use disposables and we hated every minute of it. We also have had way less leaks than we did with the disposables and the couple we've had have been due to user error. We've been converted! I wish I could review the others we have but they were baby shower gifts!

Bottom line- these are amazing and you can't beat the prices either!!

Fantastic colors, fits great, quality seems like a nice solid upper-middle grade considering the price (not the best, much better than the worst). This size in general was just too big for my babe when she was two months old, but now that she is about three months they fit far better. I recommend Nora's Nursery for sure if you are looking for a bit cheaper of an option, but still want quality. Lost one star because I just wish the flaps would stay all the way down (by having snap closer to the edge of flap) rather than have the edge curling backward making diaper bulkier. This aesthetic however seems normal for all cloth diapers I've encountered, unfortunately.

Side info- I'm a new mom and tried three different diaper brands that are on the cheaper scale- these are my favorite thus far.

Another side note- I wash them in the washing machine and dry them in the drier, they seem the exact same after about 5 washes so far. Not sure what the brand advises on wash care, hoping they don't wear out so they can make it through all my future children. We shall see!

I am so in love with these diapers! I had tried old school cloth diapers with my son 8 years ago and quickly gave up! Now being a SAHM and on my third little one I decided it was time to do my part for the environment and give cloth diapers a try again. After doing some research and finding these diapers I was pleasantly shocked at how easy they were to use! They shipped and arrived quickly and were a breeze to use. My daughter has been having issues off and on with diaper rash and it has all but resolved with these diapers. They are a breeze to wash and look absoltely adorable on her little booty. I highly highly recommend these to EVERYONE! You will save money and help reduce your waste dramatically!!!

Love them! I’m new to cloth diapering so figuring out the perfect fit is important. I had it a little too tight for over night and the leg gusset left deep red marks that took a good day To go away... felt horrible but after watching you tube, I now know how to fit them correctly. Love the prints. We’ve had no leaks with just one insert during the day. Changing every 3-4 hours with Either hemp- last the longest, bamboo and microfiber combo, or charcoal bamboo microfiber combo. Or just micro fiber inside pocket- doesn’t last as long as the others. Work great at night paired with another insert. No leaks with just 2 inserts but they were soaked by morning so 3 inserts are even better but the diaper is supper bulky of course.

I absolutely LOVE these diapers!
They are a similar fit to Alva Baby diapers, they have two waist snaps and a hip snap, and they will definitely fit to at least 35lbs. The bee print is the main reason why I bought these diapers, but I am pleasantly surprised with all 4 of them. I have not encountered any leaks, they came with bamboo inserts, they are not bulky on my son, and I just can't get over how cute the prints are.

I am so glad that I found these! My only complaint (and it is out of their control) is that I wish they were at the top of the page when I serched for them, as opposed to having to scroll through so many items to find these.

5/5 star rating!

These are adorable!! I really like the inserts vs my other generic inserts, they hold more liquid. They do take a little longer to dry than others because of this.

The patterns are so cute. This pack was my splurge when building my new lil stash for my new lil guy. I'm new to cloth diapering and wasn't sure what to look for quality wise so my purchase was based solely on the tropical prints, lol. But so far they're easy to clean and fit just as well as the other ones in my collection. We had daily leaks and blowouts in disposables, but never in these.

If you feel overwhelmed or intimidated by cloth, let me assure you that it is so. easy. I regret not doing it with my older children! Super convenient. Give it a shot!

I've bought a couple of brands of cloth diapers off Amazon, and aside from the patterns and bamboo inserts, these are virtually the exact same diapers as the Alvababy's, so if you have some Alva's you know what to expect. I've been using these for about 4 months daily and they still look new aside from wear on the inside fabric (bright sunlight does wonders for stains). The inserts aren't all that absorbent, but they're pretty easy to replace with thicker ones.

These are my absolute favorites of all the cloth I’ve tried. They are comparable to ALVA only higher quality, and a much better fit. I feel like they aren’t nearly as bulky even with the same insert and snap settings. I am loving the adorable prints, just wish there were more print options available, (I’d buy them all). I also LOVE the inserts the came with. I double them with my regular charcoal bamboo inserts at night and we haven’t had a single issue yet.

I love these diapers! When we first started cloth diapering we went with Mama Koala since they were cheapest, but those come with microfiber inserts and they LEAK SO BAD. I actually had to request a refund they were so bad, but these diapers are amazing. They are so much more soft, and the liners have bamboo so they work so much better. My daughter is 14mo old and can go 4+ hours in these without a leak. Saving up to buy more and have no need to try any other brand.
