I didn't think much when the bottle ran out, but within days my poor guy started moping around. I began rubbing his hips and eyes closed because of the relief. I immediately ordered another bottle and am waiting for it to come in now. I write this because of how noticeable the difference was within 2 days of running out. I don't think I'll let it run out again. I guess like everything else, you don't realize how good it is when you have it until it's gone. This stuff is working for him, so I'll keep using it. If your dog is having issues, I think these are worth trying.

I am blessed to have rescued a dachshund mix. He is awesome.. But he loves to run and jump and he has put on some weight. I estimate he is somewhere between 3 and 5 years old (there was some debate over age at the shelter and the vet).
In any case, his butt area seemed to get itchy.. Even more so than it should. I thought he had allergies or needed his gland expressed. I got him medicine for the allergy... Changed his diet... Had his gland expressed... To no avail (separately and together). The "itch" continued. Then I realized that it could be his hip joint bothering him.. The "itch" wasn't topical. I have started to massage his upper thigh and hip joint area, but only after giving him this supplement did I noticed any real difference. He is about half way through the bottle of cute little heart shaped things he thinks are treats. I don't always give it to him twice a day as I should. On average, once a day seems enough for the minor issue he's having. With any inflammation, keeping it under control is much easier than getting it under control. I can tell when he needs the second one a day now and administer it when I see him slowing down or getting extra "itchy".
I'm so glad I tried this. It will stay in my house and I consider it as important as his heartworm medicine or dental care. Try it. If you think it is a joint thing.. Just try it. I have autoimmune arthritis myself and joint pain is not fun. Your furry friend doesn't like it either. No... I'm not one of those people who got a reduced price for a review... I can just see the difference in the movement of dog... And that matters to me.
I have a 6 year old Pitbull. He started coming off as very stiff in his hips and back legs. He stopped pulling me to go see every bird and squirrel that made the mistake of being on the floor and stopped tugging completely on our walks. Believe me I didn't miss the tugging but i was beginning to think something was wrong. Then he stopped wanting to jump up on the couch. The couch is my pups favorite place to sit with his people. He stopped running in the yard and with our cats. The final straw was when he was walking stiffly.
So I finally realized something was wrong and that I needed to do something and I didn't want to take him to the vet right away because I don't want him to start a medication or therapy he'll need to be on/doing for the rest of his life.
I bought this hip and joint supplement and even though it might've been way too soon, I swear after the first day he was walking better.
I chose this supplement over the other I saw because the dosage is reasonable for my 71lb pitbull. (Those other supplements could get really pricey when you have to give your pet 1 pill for every 25lbs of weight... ). I also liked that there isn't much in this in the way of fillers and grains.
My dog tolerates it very well and he looks forward it every morning.
It's only been about 2 weeks but I'm very happy with the results and will keep my pup on them supplement as long as it's helping him.

I was not hopeful when i choose this product. I had been doing laser therapy on her and it helped to an extent. my husbands dog ran into my baby and flipped her over . Maggie had spinal arthritis and she wore out her right hip. I tried another product and it helped some and I assumed that it was all down hill for now. I would see my beloved lab slip away. I did not have the heart for that. I started researching again and decided what I wanted in a supplement and found it all in this wonder supplement. Even my husband is amazed at how far she has come. I have my baby back. The baby that would whine and bark at me till i figure out what she wants. I never thought I would ever see this pain in the but feeling well enough to nag me again, I would not give up any of it. And I am so glad she feels good. She wants to run till she drops but her momma knows best . I stop her before she gets to the point of not being able to move. she just cannot get out and run , run , run without consequentes. I will continue to use this product and recommend it to anyone .Thank you for giving my baby back to me.
When my beautiful Golden Retriever hit twelve, he really started to slow down. It was obvious that running and jumping were becoming increasingly uncomfortable for him, though he still desperately wanted to be out and about. I already had him using salmon oil supplements but added these to his feeding routine and saw an improvement in a matter of weeks. I am more than impressed with this product.
2 weeks ago my pup was moving at an alarmingly slow pace. He wasn't able to get on the furniture any more, unable to keep his balance well. There were days that he wouldn't move at all other than to very slowly go outside which was only may be once or twice a day if we were lucky. He stopped eating, everything! He was just not himself. He is 9 years old but all of the sudden he took a drastic turn for the worse. We were absolutely heart broken and weren't sure what to do! All I knew was that his hips were definitely bothering him. After researching and coming upon this supplement blend I had to give it a shot. Slowly throughout the last two weeks he began making small improvements starting with about day 3. He now is almost back to his crazy old self & we couldn't be happier! Just an FYI we did also start him on a daily multivitamin about a week prior to this.

I bought this to help prevent future trachea issues with my Pomeranian. She is 6 years old and I wish I would've bought it sooner. It's thought to strengthen cartilage, hopefully preventing this issues in the future. I realized you can just buy the human one but I bought this since it's WAY EASIER that it's already in a dog treat. My dog is a pain and refuses to take pills, so having it in a treat is worth the extra few dollars for me. She loves these and begs for them like she does with every other treat. She knows no different and it's making her happy!
She is 11 pounds and I decided to just give her one a day after reading some info on dosing. I don't want to overwhelm her little body. As far as the effect of the actual product, it's hard to tell. Will update once she's been on it for a few months.
My two, 12 yr. old Jack Russells have achy hip & joint problems, and consequently were slowing down drastically. Since using this for now 6 weeks, well, I'd swear they were half their ages again. They're playing, jumping, getting the zoomies again and sometimes not even using the stairs I have to for them to climb on the bed!! As this also has fish oil in it, I stopped giving them a separate product I have for their dry skin during the seasonal change just to see, and I'll be darned if they haven't suffered yet with it as the weather is cooling. And if all that success wasn't enough, they accept these little heart shaped chewables as a treat!
The price is right and SO worth giving it a try for your sore puppers!!
I cannot give a thorough review on this product because the dogs I bought it for passed away soon after I bought it - but, they liked the taste and I did not have to crush it up or haide it in something to get them to eat it. All my senior citizen dogs were on Arthramine - Excellent product - but (Bear) the 20 year old dog was in more pain than the Arthramine could help so I decided to try Hip & Joint. She only got to eat it 5 or 6 days before she passed away and the other dog passed away during cancer surgery. No fault of the manufacturer. So I sealed the bottle up tight and put it in my freezer so that when I rescue another elderly dog I will already have arthritis supplements on hand. Thanks!
I bought this because I was giving my dog the Tumeric capsules and he developed a cough. Not sure if they irritated his throat or if it was a coincidence, but he is recovering since I have switched to the chewables which contain the Tumeric. He seems to be doing well with me giving him his chewables at night when he is going to sleep. I just ordered two more containers as they seem to help with his stiff joints. He is a 12 year old 67 lb. boxer and puts a lot of weight on aging joints. I also have given them to my 50 lb beagle mix who is also 12 and she is doing better with her legs not giving out as they were before I started. I think this is a great product for my two senior dogs.
