OK so I am a flashlight junkie - got Nitecore, Thrunight, Olight, Streamlight, Thorfire, Anker, and Maglites, plus some other stuff. My biggest complaint with most lights is the way the tail cap operates. I DO NOT want to change the settings through the tail cap - that causes you to cycle through everything, instead of just using an instant on/off profile. In a life threatening situation, you won't be changing modes - you will just want on and off using the tailcap switch.
Nitecore are great - I like the mode ring, but the tail switch is stiff, Anker is cool but it has that silly cycle feature and I hate all-in-one tail cap buttons. Thrunites are nice but more money, Streamlights are sweet but for like $80 so when you break one - you cry.
So,
I tried this for a cheap thing for my truck - but it's actually exactly what I like. A SEPARATE MODE BUTTON is critical and it's very bright. Being able to recharge it via USB is key, and yes you can upgrade the battery if you want. The tailcap button is perfect - not too stiff, not mushy so I may be buying more of these.
The only nit pick is that the tail cap doesn't have any protection for the button, but neither does my Streamlight.
Did I mention $20! The beam throw is more narrow than others but, it will light up your house and blind any bad guys ;)
This light is fantastic! It does everything stated in the description and removed any doubt purchasing from a non "popular" flashlight company! The build quality is unlike anything that I have experienced from previous companies. Yes, I purchase many flashlights as one of my hobbies. The light is a "cool" white light that throws much longer than I was expecting. The flashlight comes with a removable rubber tactical grip that is well constructed and I like the option of removing it. The downfall is that with the "rubber tactical grip" it doesn't fit the nylon case well. However, I wouldn't dock any stars for that as it has an adjustable wrist strap that works amazing and is very durable. The nylon case is very well built with a belt snap so you do not have to remove your belt to take the flashlight holster off. The flashlight functionality is quite simple to use without too many commands to remember unlike "top" of the line tactical lights. It will remember the last brightness level you shut the light on and with a 1 second hold it will turn on the turbo strobe function.
This flashlight would be fantastic for every day use, security, camping, or anything you could throw at it. I would not have an issue purchasing this light for a friend, family or myself again!
This is probably the best light I've owned. I was surprised to get one this good for a lil under $20. The reviews were good so I figured I'd give it a try and I'm extremely satisfied. It seems pretty solid with a metal frame. I've already dropped it a hundred times and nothing has happened to it. I doubt I'll have to for a long while but I will definitely buy again.
I was immediately impressed the moment I opened this flashlight. I was not expecting it to have such sturdy build quality and be as bright as it is. For the price, you can rarely find a flashlight that is brighter than your average flashlight. This thing goes above and beyond the call of duty with everything! I will definitely be purchasing more as gifts.
Nice flashlight. Really bright. Only issue was it was missing the cover on the USB port.

Good product. Very bright. Best feature is not having to cycle thru the on-off switch for light intensity. Compact size and light weight. Negative feature is occasional flicker of light intensity.
