Marvel Select is one of my favorite Toy Lines other than NECA, and for good reason. Aside from great bang for your buck, the figures are usually sculpted very well. More hits and misses. This Thor is a hit in my book. The color and detail are much better than that of the Marvel Legends version. It has just enough articulation as most recent MS figs have including double knee and ankle pivot. The swords are sturdier and better detailed as well. I also collect Legends, because they produce more characters and have also improved of late. However, for this particular item, my money is on the Select.
It's very well painted and detailed but the proportions seem a bit off, kind of like his upper body and head is slightly too small for his lower body.

It's a collectors item, so grab it if grabs your eye..
Figure is greatly detailed, easily posed, and comes with several alternate hands, swords, and lightning. Only package out of the four I ordered to be completely undamaged.

Great sculpt and details. Paint applications are good. posability is good but not great. Overall very happy with the figure and really pleased to add it to my collection.
