We needed a new sharpener for my son who just started kindergarten so we purchased this one. We use it at least once to twice a day for a month and a half now and it works perfectly every time. It automatically stops sharpening once done. I’ve never had a pencil til break off in like I’ve had happen with other sharpeners. And it’s super easy to empty shavings. It’s also a very compact size so it doesn’t take up a ton of counter space.
I’ve been using it for couple months so far. No complains what so ever. Since it is in upright position, I can sharpen pencils with just one hand, no need to hold it. It has just one hole but accommodates pencils of different sizes: thin like Noris Club Aquarell from Staedtler and quite thick ones which I’d never expect to fit in. Really like this product.
My 5yr old has not broken it. That is always a plus. He has sharpened about 100 pencils on his own now. He stuck the eraser end in once! It didn't break thank goodness. The sharpener is easy to empty. My son said his teacher needs one because hers eats pencils. :)
