works perfectly with my new macbook pro (I'm using 2 of these cables, one to a 4k display, another to a 2560x1440 display)
this is exactly what my son in afghanistan was looking for it is nice and heavy duty so i feel good about sending it to him. he will be excited!!!!
Using with 2017 Macbook Pro. Used another USB-C to Mini display adapter I bought off Amazon that only went upto 4K @ 30Hz, this one works flawlessly to send 4K @ 60Hz.
Build quality is good - both ends are well built. The cable is thick enough that I can see it last a long time.
When ordering this product I was very excited. I have a MacBook and was thrilled to find that this product can put me on a tv display. Overall good product and length. I would like to see more length options as I have my tv mounted on the wall.
Product does what it needs to do, I use it for my desktop setup to connect to my MacBook or my phone which has a USB C port. Occasionally get flashes of lines across the screen but I believe that's because I have 3 monitors connected to my MacBook and not because of the cable itself. I'll see how long it lasts and update if it goes bad. The display port connector is pretty bulky though so just anticipate for that.

Notes:

I'm using this to connect my Dell P2415Q external monitor to my 2018 MacBook Pro. Essentially zero latency!
Amazing cable!!! Hooked this up to a iMac Pro with Two Samsung 28inch 590’s and they work perfectly. Side note: make sure you push the cable in all the way. They lock in place better then expected, but if you don’t push it in they won’t. I’m use to the plug not locking, but these do. So if you think there not working or not showing a Image you just need to push them in tight. Once in the cable is secure and won’t just pop out. Very Nice!!! Good Job, and highly recommended!! :)
I was skeptical this would work considering there were similar devices that cost as much as 70 dollars to do the same thing, but it did. I connected this cable from the lightning port on my laptop to a 4k monitor and its running at 60hz without stuttering. On top of this I was still able to connect my other monitor from the hdmi I was using without any problems.
TL;DR: Buy this if you have a usb-c lightning port, it works perfectly as a display adapter.
got this for my mac to connect to a bigger monitor. works very well, easy to use and the length of the cable is perfect.
would be better if they have a white cable which can match my mac better.
Great product, especially given that it is the same price as Amazon's displayport to hdmi adapter. Amazon's one didn't work with may 21:9 widescreen since the output resolution was limited (the picture was trimmed to a 16:9 format where the left and right side where black bars on my monitor). This one supports 4k monitors as advertised.
