Perfect gift for my son. We haven’t pulled the photos off yet but they seem good. The settings is the snowflake on the Christmas version. He’s not quite 5 and seems to be doing great with it. He’s practicing holding still while taking it but the 2 handles help. He dropped it a couple times before we put the strap on but no harm seems to be done. It’s important to know that the camera needs a micro SD card to function at all. (The directions say no more than 32 GB.)
I bought this camera for my 5.5 year old. He has a leap pad that he takes pictures & video with & I wanted to get him a simple camera.
I like that it is easy to handle for him. So far he is figuring everything out. I don't think you can look at the pictures you've taken on the camera itself but they loaded to the computer easily enough.
The boy really likes it. I like that it has a rechargeable battery and that it will shut off if not in use after so many minutes. Also, 5 mp is decent for a kids camera. If you add a frame to an image it doesn't look that great when you open it on the computer but the kids still like them.
Our 4 year old grandson is enjoying this camera, which we gave to him for Christmas. It takes decent pictures, but most importantly he can use the camera by himself. He is already learning something about the importance of composition. My only suggestion is that the box be more specific about the type of SD card required. We saw that an SD card is required and so bought one, but I don't think the box mentioned that it has to be a micro SD card. (Yes, the Amazon site says that but I just looked at the box before heading to the store on Christmas Eve to buy an SD card.) Our grandson was disappointed that he could not use his camera until we were able to get a micro SD card on the 26th.
I wanted a sturdy camera for her that is made for kids but is not a "toy." This was a perfect Christmas present for my son who loves to take pictures but isn’t old enough to have an expensive camera. It works great, easy to run, and very durable!! He was so excited! The video option is awesome!
I got this camera for my 8 year old son for Christmas. I think it's a great beginner camera for kids, and my son seems to enjoy it. I do like how it's drop proof. The features are easy to use. I just wish it came with a SIM card.
