This camera would be great to hide in many places. It is quite small, approximately a 1 inch cube. It's mostly black with a cool rainbow stripe on it. I was able to sit it near his cage, but I also was able to stick it various other places to try it out, including hidden in a bag, facing out to capture the fridge and any sticky fingers! LOL! The camera comes with 2 items, a bracket and a clip, that can help you place it in various places.
I am not tech savvy at all and was able to easily figure it out. The camera takes a micro SD card. I like that it takes that, as I didn't have to struggle with trying to install any software onto my computer. I just put it into my adapter, popped it in my laptop, copy and pasted the videos, and deleted them off the SD card.
I would recommend this item to others. It's a fun little camera with lots of options and possibilities.
Worth it! Awesome for not just a nanny cam or babysitter cam, but also for keeping an eye on your tweens/teens that tend to watch or take what they’re not supposed to.
Pretty normal mini camera. My daughter loves it in her car as a dash cam.
The software was a little hard to get working but once I did It was a nice camera.

I think this is a pretty interesting little device to have and use. I'm giving it 4 stars because, when I set it up for motion detection, it does a decent job of recording. The picture quality is quite good, at least in lighted conditions. The size and weight are nice, too - small and easy to transport around, relocate, adjust, etc. I've used a micro SD card in it, with no problems.
I don't give it 5 stars because I think it could use some minor improvements. The instructions could use a revision - they are kind of confusing and not laid out super well, so a better instruction document could make this WAY better and easier to use. Turning the device on/off and switching between modes is designated between just two buttons, and presumably involves varying lengths of pressing buttons and your choices are confirmed by the number and color of light blinks next to the buttons. This wasn't super clear to me, either. I tried to get night mode to work and I did not succeed - it very likely was my own fault for not correctly following the instructions, but then again, better instructions would help. It is also confusing because being OFF and being in RECORDING mode both result in the tiny little LED light being off. I wish there was something that designated the difference between off and recording. When on and not recording, the little light is lit with varying colors depending on the setting.
Overall, for the price, I think this is an interesting and useful little camera to use, and I think it's worth it to stumble through the instructions and get it figured out. I just think the instructions, utilization of buttons and lights and knowing what settings are on/off, could be improved. If they are improved, this would move from a good to a great product.
