Very happy with this processor. There are so many nice features. The case that nicely holds the extra attachments is sturdy and functional snd small, and the fact that you can also turn the case on its side to store it or stand the processor on top of it to store is great and very clever. The safety bar serves as a handle for carrying it. The bowl scraper is awesome so you don't have to open the processor several times to scrape down the sides. Plus the entire machine itself is very sturdy. There is some heft to it and the parts don't seem like they're delicate and might snap off or break. Dishwasher safe too. The bowl size is a nice size too. 14 cup is too large and 6 cup is too small... IMO. This bowl holds a decent amount and is easy to clean.
I love this food processor! I haven’t had a full size one in many years. The power and quality of this appliance is awesome. I am so happy w the jobs it has helped me w from making almond butter to making date pumpkin balls.
It has the power to go through anything I have used it on.
You have to make sure the top is straight before bringing the bar up. I got it stuck and it took a bit of maneuvering to get it unstuck. A little smaller than I thought but it works well and fast. I have used it to slice apples and vegetables. Will be using it more than my old, heavy one.
This blender is pretty standard, with a few game-changing features that make it worth five stars to me. First and foremost, the scraping feature. This makes it SO much easier to make pestos or other sauces that like to get stuck to the walls of the processor. I love not having to stop the processor to scrape. The safety lock is also really nice for ease of use. I use it also as a handle for grabbing the processor. Not sure that it's meant for that, but it works very nicely!
I have owned several food processors of different brands, and this is the best yet. The thing that struck me as I was unboxing it was the thickness of the plastic bowl -- it's sturdy like products of a bygone era. The blades are also sturdier and easier to clean than those of competing products. I marked it down one star for two reasons: 1) the bar that locks the bowl for processing is easy enough to push into position for processing, but releasing it is harder; that's best done by pushing the bar from behind rather than pulling it off and 2) the rubber scraper mechanism seemed like a great idea, but in practice tends to collect lumps of food rather than pushing them into the blades; I don't use it any more and get along fine without it. In spite of these minor issues, this puts all my previous processors to shame. Well done Hamilton Beach!

The Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap Food Processor lets you chop, puree, slice, shred and knead dough with ease. There’s no twist locking required for assembly – just stack the bowl onto the base and snap on the lid. The five attachments, including a built-in bowl scraper, save prep time and effort.
This Hamilton Beach 70820 is replacing my 38 year old Cuisinart Food Processor (that was on its last legs).
I ran all of the attachments through the dishwasher (top rack) to pre-clean.
We shredded carrots and zucchini -- which was an easy breeze.
My husband also chose the coarse setting and it shredded 7 carrots easily with speed.
We made a recipe for a high protein no-sugar mini-loaves...
Using the dough blade, I combined all of the wet ingredients...added the scraper...then added the previously shredded zucchini & carrots.
The scraper is a nice feature (I didn't have before) -- its scraping-arms don't reach all the way to the bottom of the bowl. These are a nice feature as I used to unlock and remove the whole top, push/scrape the extra back to the bottom and return/lock the top. This is way better than no scraper.
The chute is a nice bigger size to insert (carrot/zuchs)
The security bar will take practice (new feature for me)...I needed to anchor down the processor with one hand, lift the bar beyond the top to clear and lock into its locks. (same routine removing the bar...lift upwards out of its lock and then set down--anchoring your other hand on the handle or the chute to secure (don't let go, that bar will slam down onto your counter surface)
I then removed the whole top to add the dry ingredients (which I would have to do with my old model) and the mixing seemed pretty fierce & did a good mixing job.
All of the pieces washed up easy enough (one ingredient was creamy cashew butter) with warm, soapy water.
The accessories fit into a small flat view case for storage (a thoughtful feature). My husband is GREAT with instructions/puzzles. He did say that the diagram/instructions were not super clear, but he figured it out.
I deducted one-star because of the security bar and I think with practice, I'll get used to it. My first few times with using the bar, required some unexpected strength & coordination (I'm short and because this processor is taller than my former one, this procedure felt awkward for me) -- which again, the more I use it, the (hopefully) smoother this will be for me.
Like my other food processor, I haven't figured out the best, cleanest way when I remove the lid, to set down, while I add ingredients. When I remember...having a round dinner plate nearby has worked to minimize counter-mess of dough, shreddings, etc.
At the end of this day, I'm very happy to have this new food processor and grateful my Cuisinart held up almost 40 years!
Works great only use it every day. Works so good.
I'm very pleased with the food processor, it works great and can handle whatever we throw at it. The size works well for a family of 4. I've only had it a month but we have used it plenty and I can tell it's much better than the cheaper ones I have bought in the past. This motor can stand up to my husband and son and we have put it to the test to see if it can handle the the challenges past processors have broken down on and it passed with flying colors.
I really like this processor. Fits my needs.
Very sturdy, easy to use, good size!
