My daughter draws on EVERYTHING in my house. It's so infuriating. My friend told me about these water drawing mats and I got the largest size I could find to accommodate her and her twin brother. It's a Christmas gift, but I opened it up to see if it will actually work. It's going to be awesome! I dipped my hand in water and put it on the mat and it immediately saturated the mat. You definitely don't need a ton of water to get results, oops! I took a pic of everything the set came with - stampers, markers, pens, and some numbers/shapes. It's so easy to use, the mat is easily large enough for my kids to draw on together, and there is no real paint or ink involved! I am seriously so excited to give it to them for Christmas this year.
All three of my kids love the water doodle notepads so we were pretty excited when we saw this water doodle mat! We have liked this because it allows the kids to color over and over again mess free!
Another key feature that we have enjoyed is the variety of molds and magic pens that come with the mat. These really helped our kids to get creative.
I do kind of wish it was a bit bigger because my 3 boys find it hard to share space, but we might just have to buy another one. Regardless, we have found it has provided a great alternative to the messy creativity we would find around the house!
bought this for my 2 year old nephew for Christmas. He obviously had no idea what it was for until we showed him, and once he knew he could draw on it, he loved it. my sister also loved it for the fact that its super easy to put up, take out and there is no messy clean up after real crayons and markers. really easy to use, just add water like it says and presto you have awesome little kiddo art. my niece who is 10 also loved coloring on it for the fact that the images erased after a few minutes she was amazed and thought it was magic. Great gift idea for the little color'ers in you life. great price too.
I bought this for my two year olds after spending a couple hours scrubbing pen and crayon off the walls and they absolutely love it. I believe it is recommended for 3+ which I would agree with if you are not going to be supervising because of the markers and stamps, but with an adult sitting there I am completely comfortable with them using it at this age. I really like how “rainbowed” the colors are under the white mat, it creates a really beautiful look even when they are just scribbling. I taped it down to the floor in the playroom and even with them walking over it the last couple days it has held up perfectly fine. I’d definitely recommend it.
These mats come in all different sizes, but this one is a good size for two kids. My 4 year old twins love it and there's enough space for them to play together without too much pushing and shoving. The best thing, of course, is that it's "painting" with water, so no mess for mom (AWESOME!!!!!) and it dries fairly quickly. I love that it gives the kids the experience of painting without the paint, so they can play with it on the living room floor or rug with no worries there will be any kind of mess.

I purchased this on a whim as a gift for my 4 yo. I didn't think she would be too interested, but we ended up playing with it for 2 hours. She loves how each area of the mat is a different color. The stencils, pens and stamps it comes with is great for hours of play. I love the 3 different pen styles it comes with. I wish it came in a carrying bag so you can transport it easier which is why I deducted one star.
We love our doodle mat! I’m in my third trimester and need portable items to keep my very active 3 and 5yo’s busy. I’ve been looking into doodle mats for awhile and am glad I pulled the trigger on this one.
My boys were kind enough to get it good and wet for a picture to show the vibrant mat colors. They love “painting” the foam shapes that care with with mat with water, then stamping it. The mat is a good side. The water brushes that come with it are a bit softer material than our Water Wow brushes. They, and the water markers both work well. The mat keeps my boys attention, thankfully giving me a much needed break.
Im in love with it even more than my kids. This thing is absolutely mass free. Just add water and use done. Kids stay clean and the most important walls and furniture too. After trying to save last furniture to be drawn on the only thing I wish is that I got it earlier. Btw. Pictures erase as the water dries sooo you can keep on drawing as the water dries pretty quickly.

I absolutely love this doodle mat! Seriously it's probably the greatest invention ever! The markers only require water filled in them (which was super easy) and the stamps just need dumped in a bowl of water and then watch the colors appear. Another awesome detail that I want to mention is that it clears the play mat within 20-30 minutes depending on the temperature where it is being used. We actually packed this back up into its box, and took it with us on a road trip. The kids loved having the ability to color and draw without making a mess. The mat itself is thick and sturdy, but folds up so easily. I highly recommend this product!
