I was slightly misled by the manufacturer’s rating on lumens. The description read 28000 lumens; which was just about as bright as my light bar on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKUS. But when installed it, I didn’t get the same luminosity as the big light bar.
When I read the questions on the product page, the manufacturer replied in one question about the brightness that it’s 8,000 lumens bright. You get 2 lights, so it’s not 28000 lumens, it’s 2 8000 lumen lights. That’s a big difference and would have changed my mind on the purchase.
Do I regret it, no, based on the price. Would I have bought it had I known the actual brightness, no:
The lights, itself, were very easy to install. It only comes with pigtail leads, so you’re going to have to use bullet connectors and your own wires. I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLUSS with the optional auxiliary wiring package, so I didn’t need to buy a wiring kit/harness. If you don’t have a factory wiring harness with transformers, then you’ll have to buy one separately.
I installed it on a steel front bumper with auxiliary light mounting points already included. So the total installation was very simple. After running the wires to my factory harness, it took less than 5 minutes to compete the installation.
Overall, I’m happy with the look but really would have preferred more brightness.
Great quality light for the price. Has all you need to install. My only dislike is the red end caps. I’m not sure why they are red which stands out to me. Not a big deal. But they are a soft smooth plastic and i didn’t use the mount they send with it. I used a single point attachment on each side. So it would rotate down as i drive. I solved that issue by changing out their security screw with a standard hex screw which i was able to torque down more with the Allen keys i have. Overall i would buy this Light again.
This light is Bad A$$. Mounted on our UTV. Had to make my own mounting bases as our roof is plastic. It will light up our entire 2 acre yard.
Don't look into it!!!!! Very bright. Turns night into day. Wiring kit a little cheap. Make sure you insulate well near any pinch points that can cut into wire insulation.
Only complaint is that it whistles and vibrates/hums in the wind when driving.
This thing is insanely bright! It lights up the nogh like nothing else, I have bright LED headlights, and with this on, you cant even tell my headlights are on
